Just checked into Hormuz Grand today and I love the service, room and the property! They are taking excellent precautions against Covid-19 and I am very impressed with all the preventative measures that are in place. I’m staying in the Junior Suite and it is quite stylishly decorated, spacious and very comfortable! Everything is sanitized and no one can enter the room until you check in yourself and that’s really great....I had been in the house for 4 months nonstop so this was a much needed staycation and they have great and affordable packages and rates for their rooms as well so I would definitely recommend it to everyone in Muscat and the surrounding cities as well as foreign tourists who are looking to visit Oman once the airports open! 🇴🇲

It was a very good experience on business trip at this hotel. Their bed and bathroom are so comfortable with the room size and especially free Nespresso coffee in the room. The water pressure and temperature also good.

This hotel does bot have attentive staff. I have to literally call them and almost beg to replace on a daily basis the standard complimentary items in the room such as coffee/teas and toiletries in order to get those. You will get tired asking for those instead of having just been delivered outside of your doorstep since I am staying here for quiet a bit long period due to quarantine measures of traveling safely in/out of the country.

I stayed nearly 15 days in this hotel. My trip is always business related. This time the hotel management failed to communicate changes to their restaurant facilities, due to a medical event booking and taking over the restaurant space. The hotel should have recognised the comfort of their regular and long staying guests and made some alternative arrangements. My room has a lot maintenance issues, dampness and toilet sewer). I feel as regular and a loyal customer the hotel management could have done better to make my and my colleagues stay a bit more personal and comfortable.

We had 1 night here. We had a Junior suite with two separate rooms because we have 2 12 month old baby’s. At eleven we arrived to leave our luggage at the hotel, check in was at 12 am so we said to the reception we will come back at 5 pm. When we came back at 5 pm they told us that the suit isn’t ready. We have to wait 45 minutes or we can get a normal room !?!? Because we had a early flight and the baby’s we insist on the suit. After 25 minutes of waiting the room was ready.... but only 50 %. The bottom wasn’t clean, there were all over dirt from the previous tenant. The mouth water, the shampoo, the brush in the shower were used. The bottom in the shower was damaged. At the Aircondition were mould. No baby cots were inside the room. The two rooms were only separated by a glasdoor witch doesn’t hold the light nether the noise from the living room. This hotel is a five star hotel. It should be better organized and definitely CLEANER!

We had a busy holiday week and some delays in check out, however I can imagine that travelling with two 12 month old babies can be tiring. Our housekeeping team is one of the best and I am surprised that your room was not cleaned properly. Birthday celebrations have become a part of our family routine and we make it a point to celebrate the gift of life to the fullest, this time around at the lovely Hotmuz Grand, a Radisson collection property. Checkin went off smoothly with the keys already prepared and kept ready. The room was quite large with an even bigger bathroom that just blew us away. The room has all the latest gadgetry fitted in and equipped with a Nespresso machine and other basic amenities. Having checked in we headed on the pool which is quite amazing with a small kids area and being temperature controlled it's quite relaxing. We enjoyed every moment of our splash in the water. Dinner and breakfast were quite tasty though we missed the buffet experience as it's a set menu . I feel it cuts down a lot on wastage and it's a good initiative especially in these trying times. The most wonderful part of this stay was the complimentary birthday cake welcoming us as we checked into the room. It shows that the hotel staff notes every small detail and goes out of their way to make sure you have a memorable stay..

The hotel itself was as beautiful as it appears online. The hotel staff were amazing across the board. From the beginning of the booking process, during the entirety of our stay, and through our early morning trip back to the airport to depart, Benson John Jacob was eager to provide assistance, and he was always extremely responsive and helpful. His resourcefulness and dedication to customer service was a big reason why our trip and stay were so wonderful. The hotel's breakfast buffet was excellent, and Siham, who was working in the restaurant most days that we were there, took special care to address our dietary restrictions. She, along with Umesh, somehow made a top notch breakfast offering even better. Hatem at the concierge desk was another standout member of staff, though I can say in all honesty that everyone at the hotel was very very good and helpful.
The rooms were large and well decorated, and when we had issues or requests, the hotel dealt with them right away. The Executive Lounge was nice, and Sonia was very helpful and a pleasure to meet during our stay. This lounge and the conference room are clearly well suited for business meetings. As with most nice trips, this one went by too fast. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone for personal or business trip.

This February I apent an amazing Valentine's night at the Omny restaurant GBM. I booked very last minute but Sunil went above and beyond to get me the exact table that I wanted. I was not dissapointed. The scenery set across the pool of water with fire torches and rose pettles spread across the table really was stunning. All the members of staff were very attentive and the set menu was great value for money. All the courses were exquisite paired with adventurous sauces and the lamb was cooked to perfection. Reviving a rose was a special touch also.

This is by far my favorite 5* hotel in Muscat to date. Staff very well trained, food good quality.
In fact, the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All the people are incredibly helpful, attentive and generous with their time and advice including Sonia from the lounge, Umesh and Siham from the restaurant and all the remaining front office team.
The hotel room was beautiful yet very comfortable, every time I came back from outside it was always clean to perfection. I absolutely loved everything about my stay.

Hello. I would gladly recommend the three that are at the Hormuz that cater to all tastes. Qureshi bab Al Hind is our north Indian restaurant that offer very delicate tandoor grilled meats and curries and the famous biryani. Straits offers an international menu with various cuisines including middle eastern, European, Asian and more. OMNY Brasserie our 3rd and newest restaurant offers plenty of local seafood and meats, including a shisha terrace outdoors.
