This is 6th stay at Hotel Lonuveli and each stay will always be comfortable and safe. Being a solo traveler, from airport pick up/ drop off, to my stay at the hotel, I was never inconvenienced. While some minor improvements on the aesthetics have to be done, it was always outweighed by the friendliness of the hotel team. The hotel manager, Raymond, Duty Manager Del, and the entire team, were very helpful and pleasant to talk to. They will always go to extra mile to help you in every possible way, just so your stay will always be pleasant, comfortable, and safe. Thank you Lonuveli team! 👍👏
I had a very bad experience with the staff at this hotel. First off all they did not pick us up from the airport. Room was not ready when we reached. Breakfast options were very less. They dont even provide omlette for breakfast. By the time we go for breakfast most of the food is over. On checkout day they insisted us to leave early as they were expecting new guests. The reception people spoke to us rudely and told us not to sit near the reception after the check out as new guests are arriving though half of the hotel was empty. There are better options available nearby at cheaper rates. Just avoid this place. Mannerless staff and false promises. They dont have a elevator also
This property is clean and is worth the money! Raymond and Dil are very accommodating, friendly in a very professional manner. While I was having my breakfast in the small counter near the lobby, I even saw Raymond helping other guests filling up their Imuga (one of immigration requirements from/to Maldives for all travelers) that act is amazing! Breakfast has limited options, which I totally understood for its price, but could probably change the boiled egg into something that’s more appetizing such as omelette? Location is just great! And if you go around the area, you will find small shops as well. Looking forward to another out of the island stay on November and hope by then beach view room would be available.
Came upon this place by chance and really enjoyed my night there. Manager was really helpful when clinic made a mess of my covid test. A good breakfast and airport transfer and good wifi. As close to the best beach in Hulhumale as is possible.
Hotel is well located, staff are friendly and hospitable, bfast is good, and rooms are in general clean and spacious enough, some even have amazing sea view (we got lucky on that front thanks to Raymond at the front desk). Just what you need, specially as you will not be spending the entire day there. Room for improvement: although we could tell the towels and bed linen had been washed, they had permanent stains on them/looked rather old, which as a guest is not the most comforting thing to experience. Quality of pillows and condition thereof were more of a miss. Under the bed, one could also see no cleaning in a long time had occurred. Could we suggest water-bottle refill is offered to guests instead of single-use 500ml plastic bottles? Hotels should be setting the example for a more sustainable hospitality industry in Maldives, and should be creating the awareness in travellers, not the other way around.…
