We have stayed here a few times and it was still amazing. We parked in the car park (make sure you validate your tickets at hotel - 24 hours cost £10 ).
We arrived at the hotel at 11, spoke to a guy, then spoke to Kat (also had spoken earlier in the morning re early check in & was ok to do). She managed to get our room ready in 10 minutes. It was clean and house keeping made up another bed while we was in the room.
The following day Kat greeted us for breakfast, breakfast was lovely and you can help yourself.
The hotel is situated on a high street, with shops, restaurants and cinema. The train station is about 10 minutes in taxi and you can get a direct train to Central London within 25 minutes.
Definitely will stay here again.

We stay for 2 nights while my children took part in filming a commercial. We had 2 rooms and both was a nice size, very clean and the beds was nice and comfy. The hotel was clean and very quiet. Even though you look over the street, we heard nothing. The staff was friendly and a lady called Nicola went out of her way to be extra helpful! She was amazing with the children. She remember their names and made them feel very welcome, let them draw pictures to put on the wall! They were sad that we had to leave and want to visit again. Please personally thank her from us. She made the stay extra special. One of our children is Autistic and she made him feel calm and happily answered any questions he had. She split the fruit salad up for him as he didn’t like it mixed and warmed his pancakes and encouraged him to eat when he was feeling anxious and worried about his stay. We will definitely be returning!

Stayed at the Premier In London Orpington for 2 nights whilst I was having a COVID-19 PCR test for my return to work in Saudi Arabia.

This is an excellent little hotel, very clean, very quiet and with brilliant helpful staff.

The breakfast was superb with all you can eat Full English option taken. You can literally choose what ever you want and how much you want. Due to COVID it was served at the tabke and no buffet was available. The staff were helpful and attentive without being overbearing.

I needed my PCR test results printing before I left for the airport. I asked at reception if they could print it for me and they gave me the Hotel email for me to send the document and when I checked out the results were printed and waiting fr me.

This is the first time I have used Premier Inn and it has completely changed my ideas of what to expect. I would definately use Premier Inn again.

Room 117 situated right above a gym which resulted in noise from 6am, weights banging and this continued throughout the morning. Daughter was woken up asking what the noise was and we all could not get back to sleep. Reported to staff who were not helpful and stated that the room was soundproof (which, in my opinion, it is obviously not effective)

Hi Anne, Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay with us. I am really sorry to hear of your disappointment due to noise from external sources. We will pass your feedback onto the management team who will look into this and will take action where possible to ensure this is not an experience shared. I do hope we can welcome you again in the future. Thanks Kristy

My partner and I stayed for his birthday, I checked in early to put balloons in the room before we came back together later in the evening. The guy I spoke to was lovely, very good service. Quick and efficient checking in. Room was clean, spacious and no bad smell. We came back together in the evening to see a bottle of Prosecco and 2 glasses with a happy birthday note from the team. That made our evening, was a very nice gesture from them. My partner was very happy. Overall, I’d definitely go back to this hotel. Was a bit pricey for a 1 night stay, we paid £89 without food but you can find it cheaper on different days. We were happy with everything so was worth it for us. Late checkout time, 12pm made it even better because we hate early mornings. You just put your room card in a box on your way out so no need to wait around.

Premier Inn Orpington is, for us, extremely convenient. We use an "accessible" room, and these rooms are of a good size. We do so mainly because trying to shower whilst standing in a bath at my stage of age and mobility is an insecure experience, especially with no grab rails! The rooms are a little limited in terms of power sockets, storage etc., but the beds are large and comfortable. Food (breakfast and evening meals) is available. In or experience, the quality of breakfast has declined since they started using air fryers, and the dining area is under-staffed. Parking is in the nearby multi-storey, but reasonably convenient.

It's ugly on the outside but very clean and comfortable on the inside. For the price, you'd be hard pushed to find a match, in terms of spaciousness of room, cleanliness and a really comfortable bed and all this with air-conditioning. For me there were only two downsides - no baked potatoes on the menu which I was really in the mood for and secondly, while I was waiting for my food order the staff invited me to take a seat. However, the faux suede type chairs and couches were heavily stained and looked really disgusting. It doesn't take much to give them a wipe over at night when there are no customers around. There are numerous buses that stop just outside the mall in which the hotel is located. These will take you to the railway station if you don't feel like taking the ten minute walk. You can be in the centre of London in twenty minutes.

The hotel is very good, clean, quiet and the all you can eat breakfast was superb. Checking in was a little slow due to the computer looking for the booking. We parked in the Shopping Centre and exited by using lift B. It is only a short walk to the entrance of the hotel. The receptionist advised to get the parking ticket authored by them when we checked out and any fees to be paid at the pay machine near the car park entrance. The room and bathroom are very adequate for a short stay. The pillow was lumpy and flat and a second one would have been better but we managed. My only criticism was the heating/air conditioner which blew out quite cool air. You can't change it from the controls in the room so you need to use your mobile to ring reception to alter it, which they kindly did to a warmer temperature. There are plenty of shops and very nice food places to eat at. All in all, very nice stay and would recommend it. Very good value for money.

firstly i paid for a double room and was given an accessible room which was made for disabled people (bathroom was made for wheelchair users) and so i complained to the staff and asked for a new room in which they told me that they had all been taken and they couldn’t do anything about it. Then after a hard convincing they finally gave me the room i paid for.

Secondly, no towels where given in my room and this meant i had to go back downstairs and ask for some. the lady said she would bring them up within 5 mins. However 30 minutes went by and nothing!!!!

My partner then had to go back downstairs and ask for the same towels
in which they just left outside on the dirty floor

i’m disgusted DO NOT COME HERE!!!!

The location is great. Easy parking and good discount for parking when your a guest. The quality of the room was excellent. Only issue was it smelt musty and my Mums room smelt of smoke. Like the other review said check out was a pain as needed to get the parking validated but there appeared to be only one member of staff running breakfast and the front desk. Staff are always friendly and it’s a very safe hotel - key card access to get to lifts, each floor etc.

Hi, The hotel is quite a way from Heathrow airport however, you can get from Heathrow Terminal 1-3 underground on the Piccadilly underground line to Leicester Square Station, from there you need to get the Northern line to Charring cross underground station then walk up to the Charring Cross overground station and get a train on the southeastern line to Orpington. Once in Orpington you need to get a bus from Orpington stop B to Walnuts Centre Stop T and then it is a 5 minute walk to the hotel. You can see the route on Google Maps and it is around a 1 hour 40 minute journey. You can also contact the hotel directly on 0333 234 6591 and they will be able to give any travel advice. Kind regards, James

Hi boobooboo99 Thanks for your query. There is no onsite parking at this hotel, they recommend using the Walnuts Shopping Centre car park (BR6 0TW) which is a multi storey. This costs £10 per 24 hours and is locked between 1am and 6am. Hope this helps. Regards Amy Premier Inn Team
