Very friendly atmosphere meets you when you enter the hotel; the first impression is of comfort, cleanliness and an eagerness to please. Very clean comfortable rooms and the restaurant is very good. The lounge area is a good area to meet, chat and generally relax.
We visited The Croft Hotel as a family of six for Mothers Day Lunch. I’d originally booked as a table of four and at very short notice I telephoned to add an extra two persons to our booking. The Manager “John” could not have been more accommodating even though they were obviously very busy. We arrived to an immaculately clean hotel and were greeted well by all members of staff. We enjoyed drinks in the cosy bar area before being escorted to our table. Again - restaurant staff were friendly, attentive and welcoming. “Melissa” in particular looked after us very well. We all had varying food options from the 3 Course Menu and everyone of us thoroughly enjoyed our food. My daughter said her Garlic Mushroom Starter was the best she’d ever had and my Main of Slow Cooked Lamb Shank just melted in the mouth. I was told the Beef, Pork & Chicken were all equally as good. Dessert was served as an Assiette of Four and these were all divine. A very kind gesture of a Box of Chocolates for each Mother to take home too. We will definitely be returning to “The Croft Hotel” soon. Highly recommended !!…
From the moment we arrived at The Croft, we were given top class service. Despite turning up two hours early, we were shown to our room straight away and given directions for a lovely (if rather wet!) countryside walk. We had received an upgrade to the Bridal Suite, which was absolutely stunning, and the whirlpool bath was the perfect remedy for the cold and drizzly weather. Food was delicious and plentiful and service impeccable, can’t fault it al all, just wish qe could have stayed longer! A*
Stayed one night and couldn't fault this hotel. On arrival the receptionist was very pleasant and helpful, as was the receptionist who took over at 3pm. Our suite was lovely with a big walk in shower. The whole hotel was beautifully clean and warm. We has a delicious dinner at night....nothing to complain about there with a bottle of wine which was included in our deal. Everything was freshly prepared and hot. The barman/waiter was also friendly and pleasant as we're all the staff. Freshly cooked breakfast the next morning set us up for the day. All in all, a lovely stay in a lovely hotel. Would definitely recommend and visit again.
Just returned from a night in the croft. Not our first visit. 3 couples went on a DBB offer.Once again the standard was extremely high. Check in was smooth, rooms were lovely and warm, clean and had everything you need. The meal in the restaurant was outstanding, a fab menu with plenty of choice. Bar prices were reasonable. Breakfast was tasty with plenty of choice. We never left the hotel had drinks and chatted in the bar area all day and night. Special thanks to Melissa you checked us in and was on hand at all times...I'm sure we ll be back. Would hesitate to recommend.
We stayed as part of the hotels Bed, Breakfast and Evening Meal for £99 in a superior room. Cannot fault a single part of our night there. From the lovely welcome at reception to the fabulous room (with a rainfall shower!) to the gorgeous evening meal in the very relaxing restaurant. The staff were incredibly attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Even the music was fab! We enjoyed a few drinks in the chilled out bar next to a fire before retiring to bed and watching some tv on the huge tv at the end of our bed! The bed was incredibly comfortable and the hotel was lovely and quiet so we had an excellent night's sleep. Breakfast the next morning was absolutely lush! And again the most attentive and friendly staff. We'll definitely be staying again - it was a very good offer!
My wife & I, stayed here at The Croft Hotel in Croft for an evening. We checked in around 2.30 unpacked. The room was very spacious, clean, nice, & warm, bathroom bright, clean fresh. The staff were amazing, very friendly & helpful. We went for a long walk up into Hurwoth village & beyond. On our return we showered change & visited the bar for refreshments. Evening meal was delightful, served very professionally, deliciously tasty & piping hot. Breakfast was just as higher quality, perfect English to start the day. All in all just what the doctor ordered.
Lovely rooms clean very attentive would highly recommend well furnished comfy beds fantastic shower. Evening meal and breakfast superb quality. Nice pub just over the bridge 3 pound a pint cheaper than my local club
A unique warm & cosy atmosphere from the moment you walk in, kind of a unique blend between classic & modern, very clever. The team are very polite & attentitive but not in an opposing way. The food was amazing, so hats off to the Chef/s, I've never had such an abundance of succulent tender chicken glazed with a beautiful sauce & sides. The portion size was perfect, even though I couldn't quite finish. I did however keep picking as the abundance of complementary flavours, from the presentation, to experiment with kept me going back. The dessert was to die for (Chocolate Brownie Sundae) as it was no 'run of the mill' concuction, you could tell they've thought about this. I will be coming back very soon, extremely pleased all round... Thank you!
Perfect overnight stay with the offer of dinner, B&B for £99 per couple. Room and bed was very comfortable and clean. All staff friendly, free parking and reasonable priced drinks. Loved the real log fires, the 4 of us sat in front of one of these, seats comfy and lovely atmosphere. Thankyou Laura and all staff you were amazing, friendly and it certainly makes a big difference to be welcomed and served with eye contact and a smile. We've rebooked to visit again end of February with another 2 friends on a separate deal... Worth every penny.
