We booked this holiday as a couple, a last minute package holiday on half board basis. We were picked up at the airport in a comfortable minibus and took about 30 minutes for transfer. Check in at the hotel was efficient and we were allocated room 802. Although the view was of the carpark (with sea in the background), the room was nice and quiet. If you need a fridge/safe/tea/coffee facilities, these can be arranged for a small extra charge. The room was comfortable and away from any noise. The food was very good, with a different theme each night. Mediterranean night was best! If you are on b&b, you can buy a voucher to give you 3 evening meals. Evening meals can also be exchanged for lunches, if you contact reception first. Many thanks to Loucas and Yannis for looking after us. The main bar area has regular live music, and is very comfortable. Valentin is a great waitress and works very hard. The location for the hotel is outstanding. It is directly on the beach and there is also a safe lagoon. The beach bar has excellent cocktails and food. There is also a path which follows the coast and, each morning, we started the day with a jog. There is also a gym and 2 swimming pools, although I didn't use these as the beach is so welcoming. If you need a tour, ask the Reception to arrange it for you. Irene and Tamara are excellent in reception, and they arranged a trip of the Troodos Mountains for us. They will also show you where to catch the bus to Paphos Town for 1.5 euros each! The hotel is very covid aware and take great steps to keep everyone safe. All in, a great holiday. Thank you for making our visit to Cyprus so enjoyable.

I have just returned from my 4th or 5th visit to this hotel. As a single woman, finding a hotel where I feel safe, the staff are friendly, the rooms are clean and the food is good enough that I don't need to go out is what I look for and exactly what I get here. I always return home feeling relaxed and refreshed and look forward to returning for my next holiday. I have read reviews where people have said the breakfasts were warm - I haven't found that and the food IS freshly cooked but not to order. It sits under a hotplate to allow guests to help themselves to as much as they want. The cats are lovely and never a problem. If you ignore them they walk away! The staff, stunning views and relaxed atmosphere sell the hotel and good measures in place to maintain a safe environment during the pandemic, providing hand sanitisers, plastic gloves, face masks and signs to remind guests to wear masks around the hotel unless sitting down to eat/drink or outside. I also noted sunbeds and pool area were sanitized thoroughly in the mornings. Nothing is too much trouble and if you don't like something or want something in particular, the staff and management go out of their way to try to make things right. A big shout out to Andreas, Aphrodite, Alex, Dimitri, Marios, Victoria, Ioannis, Irene and Nicos

We’ve just arrived home from a 14 night stay at the Cynthiana Beach Hotel. We are missing it already. This was our first trip to Cyprus and we only booked it last minute to get a bit of peace and sunshine after a difficult year. What can I say? The sea view room was spectacular and the room was lovely and clean and bright. The bed was so comfortable! We stayed Bed and Breakfast which I prefer and there were lovely local restaurants. However we made some friends who stayed half board and they said the food at the hotel was good and varied. The breakfasts were very good and the view on the terrace was superb! We ate at the beach bar on the last day and the chicken kebab and wraps were delicious. The best part, however, was the private beach. I’m not a beach lover but this was wonderful. There were plenty of comfy sun beds with a stunning view. And the snorkelling was out of this world - just a stones throw from our room! Really friendly, helpful staff. I cannot recommend this hotel enough and we will definitely be returning- something I have never done before! I have also recommended the hotel to my sister. Thank you to all the staff at the Cynthiana for such a wonderful holiday.

My room was lovely looked over the ocean and plants - room no. 765. Decor of the room was good too and had a balcony with 2 chairs and a table. Balcony could do with painting as it's metal and very rusty. The area was very quiet and there is a lovely walkway along the coast linking to other hotels in the area. Very safe to swim too. Lovely protected bay. Loved all the cats and sparrows around the place as like to be with nature and not in a concrete jungle. What faults this hotel is the food. As a vegetarian struggled to eat booked half board. The food for breakfast was the same every day. food was never hot it luke warm as the dishes sat in hot water stainless steel units and not freshly prepared, processed food. Could have served more fresh fruit and used the local herbs in their dishes. Bland and boring. If I went back to this hotel would book a room only and go out to eat. Transport into Paphos & Coral Bay excellent, bought a weekly bus ticket for 20 euros. 615 bus route great near the hotel runs every 10 minutes so ended up eating out most evenings going into Coral Bay to or Paphos to eat. Good Thai restaurant in Coral bay Sala Thai prices are good and lovely menu especially for a vegetarian. The old Town of Paphos has a few traditional tavernas! 618 or 610 bus takes you to the old town.
