All staff were going above and beyond to suit guests needs. It is a hotel worth 5* for their service but unfortunately they cannot because of the offering. We would come back here again ANY time. Owner works hard and it does transmit to all the team. Thank you

Beachlands Hotel has been a fantastic find! A warm welcome on arrival by the hotel manager who gave us all the information we required to make our stay enjoyable. Our room was very well decorated with lots of space and a lovely large bed. Everywhere in the hotel is exceptionally clean which is really important to me when staying in a hotel. We had dinner on the first night in the hotel restaurant. The food was excellent, a good choice of menu and excellent service. Drinks at the bar are reasonably priced. Breakfast the next morning and on the three mornings of our stay was fantastic!!! The quality of the food, the presentation and the menu selection are worthy of any top hotel. Really impressive!!! Mike the breakfast waiter is the most efficient, professional and attentive waiter I have ever met. What an asset! Nothing is too much trouble. We used the pool and sauna on two occasions, both times the pool was warm, clean and as a bonus we had it all to ourselves (just the two of us). Everywhere in the pool area is clean and well kept. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. It was our first stay at Beachlands Hotel but I can assure you it will not be our last! We are definitely returning.

Amazing service, the hotel was lovely but the staff are what make the trip. The gentleman that showed us to our rooms was amazing but everyone was nice and super friendly and helpful. The pool was nice, me and my partner had it to ourselves for quite a while it certainly didn't get busy! Towels were provided and the sauna is a nice addition also to relax. There where changing rooms and toilets although the floor does get very wet in the changing room so I would recommend bringing sandals or flip flops! We stayed for dinner our first night which was lovely, we got to wait for our table on the sofas and enjoyed canapes at no extra charge whilst we waited. Food came quickly, was piping hot and delicious with complimentary bread rolls. I had the Arancini and my partner had the leg of lamb, both very nice and although we didn't need changes to the food they are very accommodating to eating requirements and also had vegan options. Desert was great too with cheese board and treacle pudding. Dinner is put on your room, so you don't have to worry about paying after dinner, you just do that when you check out. Breakfast was great and included in the price, plenty of options and partner didn't see what he wanted (a bacon and sausage sandwich) so he asked and the kitchen were more than happy to make one for him! Also a table is already reserved for you in the morning (we had the same table kept for us as dinner) so you don't have to wait/look for seating as you have a nice space waiting for you. The room (family room 31) was very big and had plenty of space for a cot and room for little ones to walk around. Large bath/shower also. Very clean, basic toiletries provided and hot drink making facilities. The only feedback I have is the netting in the bedroom does have a fair few holes so maybe needs a bit of touching up as decoration is a little dated. Saying this it was perfectly functional, clean and comfortable! I would certainly come again, supporting independent hotels is very important and you can tell a lot of love and care is given to ensure you have a comfortable stay. Also has free parking on site and pool and sauna included!

Quintessential seaside hotel with stylish decor, super comfy beds, fantastic pool area, marvellous breakfast (vegan for me, non vegan for hubby) cooked to order, and the most pleasant staff we've ever met. We've stayed in lots of hotels from top notch in Australia to cheap as chips in Brighton and we've never felt the need to go back. But Beachlands is a hotel we will book to visit again and very much look forward to it.

Wow. So I don't think I would be the usual guest for this hotel. However I found it to offer something others are missing. They cannot do enough for you. The staff really go above and beyond. You could say it is "old fashioned" in their approach, but this just works here. It would be a shame if a traditional hotel service like here is lost. The breakfast experience was brilliant. The food itself was fantastic. I chose to stay here due to the pool & parking, with breakfast being a bonus. I would say being slightly negative the shower cubicle requires some attention, the drain takes an age to clear, cracked tiles and moldy sections. I would happily stay here again if I'm next in the area. Thankyou.

Staying here was a breath of fresh air! Easy to find, parking, breakfast and use of the indoor heated swimming pool was all included in the price. We booked direct with them over the phone. The staff were super efficient, welcoming, and very happy to help. No fuss booking. No fuss check in. Was shown to our room, helped with our bags, and swimming towels brought to our room within 5 minutes of arriving. The pool was beautiful, we had it to ourselves and the temperature was like a bath (minus bubbles)! We had a great time. Our family room was lovely too, everything you could need for a one night stay, was there. The man who served us at breakfast was very polite, well mannered and very professional and the lady on reception was equally as admirable. All staff are doing a great job, it was a great experience from start to end. Thank you 😊

Fantastic hotel, good facilities, good food and friendly staff who can’t do enough for you. Breakfast great value. The Family room was great, plenty of room and really quiet despite a Christmas do happening. We heard no noise. The pool is lovely, warm and had a great changing room with a good shower. We’ll definitely be back.

We decided to have a last minute trip to the seaside and saw that this hotel had a swimming pool - that sold it to us. The room was spacious and comfortable, the welcome was warm, and the pool was lovely. Having walked around the town we decided to eat dinner back at the hotel - it was great value for money and delicious - I had the mushroom soup and chicken in leek and bacon sauce, which was very tasty. My husband had prawn cocktail followed by scampi and fries, both very good. A lovely bottle of wine was reasonably priced and the service was great. A comfortable night’s sleep in the quality bed was followed by an excellent cooked to order breakfast, included in the room rate. All in all a great hotel we would recommend and will visit again. Well done to the owners, chef and staff.

This was such an enjoyable experience. Family run establishment with excellent service and good food. Reminded me of seaside hotels of yester years. Comfortable rooms, a good sized swimming pool and bespoke breakfast. I’ll certainly stay here again
