Disappointed, Arrived after a long drive, had a back room (no 5), as soon as I put my bag on bed a small (carpet moth) sprung up, then Another then another, there was no way I would sleep I there with that, it smelt of damp… the bathroom had mould in the grout, the sink was mounted in wood that looked like it had been there since 70s…. They asked would I pay £20 for remote for tv, as if I look like a criminal! They are criminals for charging £120 for that. Now in another hotel where it’s modern & welcoming

Friendly service, quick check in, comfortable room with sea view, great location for town and beach. Lovely breakfast options. Typical English beach front hotel that would be nice to sit outside if the weather was on our side. Would recommend

Stayed in the Richmond Hotel for a 2 night weekend break on bed and breakfast basis. We were met by Jonathan the hotel manager who checked us in quickly. The room itself was fresh, clean and exactly what we paid for. The breakfast was amazing everything cooked perfectly with plenty of choice. The patio outside the hotel overlooks the park and sea front and is lovely to sit and have a drink. Will not hesitate to return. Thank all !!

Really lovely welcome, Jonathan was a great host and the chaps at breakfast were fantastic (especially the man in the black jumper today - sorry didn't get his name, but works hard!). The room was comfortable and big enough for the 3 of us, perfect for a 2 night stay for a wonder about on a girly weekend. Would highly recommend, great value and in a brilliant location. We were made to feel at home - will definitely stay again.

After a nightmare start to our weekend away by being totally let down by another hotel,we rocked up at the Richmond after dark, tired & hungry, as thankfully they had 1 room left for the weekend. The hotel looked cosy and welcoming. The bar area was full, which says a lot. I met Johnathan only briefly that first night so it was at breakfast that we were welcomed to the hotel and realised our forced unplanned change was a massive upgrade. The hotel & rooms were clean, comfy beds, tea & coffee in rooms, extremely friendly staff,a small bar area with plenty of seats and a patio area outside to sit in good weather. Right opposite the beach and ideally placed for pubs, restaurants and the pier. The hotel is listed as pet friendly but this is an understatement. We had our dog with us and I seriously think they preferred him to us. If you need somewhere to stay in Weston, please give these guys a go,you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic hotel and outstanding value for money! Loved this Hotel on the beach front, we asked the owner for a sea front room which he provided at no other cost as we had booked on booking.com, so that was really very kind of the owner to do that. Our room had a bath and shower and a lovely balcony. Hotel was clean and presentable. A breakfast was included which was delicious! All in all very happy with our stay. Would highly recommend and value for me is second to none.

This was a last minute booking. Good, quiet location - close to town and beach. Clean and comfortable room with sea view. Lovely breakfast served to table which included cereal & toast (if required) and a full English cooked to perfection with lovely fried bread which was a real treat! Proprietor friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend.

I can't rate the Richmond highly enough. I travelled alone but immediately felt part of a family. Jonathan and Steve made me feel incredibly welcome throughout my stay. The hotel is of a very high standard. Spotlessly clean, comfortable room and bed with a magnificent view. Great breakfast. Great location. I can't give the place enough praise. I would definitely return and highly recommend it to everyone looking for a place to stay in Weston Super Mare. Thanks Jonathan for making me feel so welcome.
