Hotel's Favourite
Check in was smooth and staff were very pleasant and helpful. Room was spotless, lovely comfortable bed. We've stayed at Premier Inns previously and have always been completely satisfied with everything. Will definitely recommend to family and friends

Stayed at the Premier Inn after dropping a youngster off at Durham University. Location and staff good, hotel quiet, clean and tidy, what I would expect from a Premier Inn. Went for dinner in the attached pub Tindale Crossing, was clean tidy, staff friendly and service good. Wife’s meal was perfect, I had a mixed grill and the steak was very poor, very fatty all the way through and I ended up leaving, end of a long day and I didn’t complain. What really impressed me was after the plates were collected, the manager approached us as it had been noticed that it had not been eaten and wasn’t up to the standards they would expect. This really impressed me as I did not complain and I was offered a full refund. Very impressed as they are obviously looking at why things are not being eaten and correcting this is not usually the case in chain pubs. Sure my issue is not the norm and would highly recommend.

Rooms at Premier Inns are no longer automatically serviced. If you want your room serviced you need to let Reception know the night before and hang a sign on the door handle of your room so Housekeeping are aware.

Excellent customer service, Beverley was so friendly and welcoming. The hotel is easy to find and clean. There is a Brewers Fayre next door which also great service and good value. I would recommend both

Checked in after a 4.5 hour drive from Norfolk, to be greeted by Beverley at reception. I had the warmest welcome and was treated like royalty! Had a good natter while checking in and was made to feel very comfortable. Amazing service, I will definitely be returning when I’m away for work!

Earlier today, a local Airbnb seriously let myself and my family down when we couldn’t gain access to the property that we had booked for the night. Thankfully for us - Melodie at Bishop Auckland Premier Inn came to our rescue. After a 6 hour journey from Fort William and three very tired children, Melodie went above and beyond to get us booked in to 2 rooms near to one another. Because of our stressful afternoon - she even gave us some complimentary biscuits on behalf of Premier Inn. So a massive thank you to Premier Inn - and an even bigger thank you to Melodie for providing such a fantastic service. She is a real asset to the team!!!

The staff were always available, friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. It's convenient having the restaurant next door, as we've been driving to and fro the hotel and I'm not sure how much is within walking distance. There was always plenty of parking, but it would be great if there were also EV charging points in the car park.
