The room is very dated. Reception were not always there when needed. For breakfast you need to leave the hotel and the options are limited - McDonalds and Costa. None of which I would choose to dine in if I had more choise.
Very dirty bathroom and beds are very small and uncomfortable. It wasn’t a cheap room and wish we had gone somewhere else. We used this hotel due to location but would certainly not want to book this hotel again
We’ve stayed here a few times now and have no complaints at all. The staff are lovely, helpful nothing is to much trouble. We would recommend Days Inn Durham for either a short or long stay. For the price it’s worth a visit
I had been driving up from London and had to stop over all I needed was a rest there was no smoking signs which i was glad of but the room I was given had net curtains which were filthy had cigarette burns in the curtain it was a twin room as I lifted the duvet on the first bed there was a large bug in the bed fortunately dead when I got in the other bed I found it damp but I was exhausted and tried to sleep not easy with the noise outside I reported it and someone phoned offered me a free stay no thank you there are better hotels further up the road dont waste your money .
Very happy with our stay in days inn hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the hotel is clean and comfortable and it's easy to park and also easy to have something to eat and the people are fantastic
Started with a room booking for one of our group being messed up by them so had to spend a ridiculous amount of time sorting that and I now have to spend more time chasing a refund. The room was large with a ridiculously small double bed. There was blood on the duvet cover and the carpet had a wet patch. Everything looked shabby and in need of renovation. Would not stay again.
Great position just off the A1..’with services right beside the inn very handy … rooms clean tidy good en-suites,tv,hot drinks…. Staff very friendly and helpful willing to help Great shower for a morning wake up hot powerful.. towels on hand was surprisingly quiet for it being in a service’s location (not a bad thing) Definitely recommend for anybody needing a head down from travelling up and down the A1/M1….. Reasonable price Overall happy customer I’ll be back
Stayed one night the room they gave was infested time little bugs which bit me all over and caused non stop itching all night then was refused refund Asked nicely but was told needs to be investigated so my bite marks and the all the insects on the bed floor and bath wasn't enough they even took pictures
When I arrived, both disabled parking spaces outside the entrance were occupied by cars without Disabled Driver discs. When I mentioned this to reception, they just said "It happens all the time!" and shrugged their shoulders. The Booking.com website advertised breakfast as a supplementary extra, but there is no dining facilities at this Days Inn. When I mentioned this they just said "Yes, well, we must remove that from our website." I mentioned when booking that I was disabled, so they put me on the first floor, right along the corridor. My room was clean but very noisy, from motorway traffic outside, plus other guests. A thoroughly bland, forgettable experience.
Hotel location is very ideal bez of service But room are like old age light not bright Not breakfast arrangement on side need to go out for breakfast. Washroom are not uptodate I think they need to update
