Our Barrow-in-Furness hotel features our stylish new generation bedrooms, with an impressive 40" flat screen TV, freshly updated bathroom with large shower head, and brand new, slumber-inducing, king-size Hypnos bed. Situated beside The Dock Museum and a short walk from the Port of Barrow, the hotel is also just a two-minute walk from the best shops, bars and restaurants in the area. Directions: Exit M6 at Junction 36 and head north west on the A590. After three miles, take the slip road sign posted Barrow- In-Furness. Continue on this road for 35 minutes until you reach a series of roundabouts. Follow signs for Barrow-In-Furness/A590. Final roundabout will be signposted Walney Island/A590 - take the second exit onto North Road/A590 and after approximately 0.5 Miles, the Premier Inn will be on your right hand side. Bedroom heating led to this score. Very hot room most uncomfortable. Not much was wrong with this. Also price was excellent. You get what you pay for if your expecting 5star sorry your into going to get that. Overall hotel was very clean and staff very friendly.

What time can you check in?
2pm. But they are very nice indeed and if you ring and ask them they will let you in at around 11.30/12 if the room is ready. It all depends how busy they were night b4 so can't let too many in early. But give them a ring.

Hi mrshappyDurham Thanks for your query. Our Kendal hotel is the closer of the two Premier Inns, it is just over an hours drive from Bassenthwaite whereas Barrow-In-Furness is just under a 2 hour drive. Hope this helps. Regards Amy Thacker Premier Inn Team
