As experienced travellers, I have to say Jackie and Steve are the best hosts we've ever had. Yes the place is spotless, the beds are super comfortable and the breakfast is exceptional. But Craigholm has so much more to give, from the hilarious breakfast stories from comedy gold Steve (don't worry Jackie, he kept it clean) to the homemade cake we were gifted daily and the fresh smoothies, which were amazing! They say the devil's in the details, well Jackie and Steve are definitely little devils! They went above and beyond to make sure their guests had an excellent stay. This is our 3rd visit to Craigholm and we'll absolutely be back as soon as we can! P.s sorry about the soap dish!!

Owners go out of their way to make it a special stay - rooms immaculately clean, breakfast really good. Great location to walk down into the village and lots of on street parking. Had a very nice stay and would certainly recommend Craigholme to anybody.

We have just returned from a lovely stay at Craigholme - couldn’t recommend it more! From our arrival Jackie and Steve were more than welcoming and made us feel so at home. The room was lovely, bed so comfy and huge shower. The breakfast was everything and more! A tray filled with pastries, fruit, smoothies and cakes was brought out to us before we had even ordered our breakfast choices! Highly recommend the blueberry pancakes. We had no trouble with parking although the road was busy - definitely not a reason not to book. The b&b also smelt amazing and felt very clean. Location: great, just between Bowness and Windermere town with plenty of walks, shopping, restaurants and pubs. Thanks so much for an amazing stay at a great price!

Managed to get a last minute room on a Monday eve due to an earlier cancellation. And weren’t we lucky! Pristine B&B from the front garden all the way to the room and bathroom. Absolutely beautiful. And the hosts were even better! Jackie and Steve were so welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was stunning. Several options provided including a tray with fresh fruit, yoghurt and granola as well as cereal options and homemade carrot cake! Would 100% recommend and stay again! Thank you!

From start to finish our stay couldn’t have been better. Our room (no 3) was comfortable, spacious and clean. The extra little touches like marshmallows for your hot chocolate is lovely. Breakfast was exceptional. A great selection of cooked options; I highly recommend the blueberry pancakes! A small tray with cereals, pastries, fruit and smoothies was brought out to us once we had sat down. The selection was very good and the quality excellent. Probably the best part about our stay, and one of the main reasons we returned, is the fantastic level of service we received from booking right through to checkout. Steve was very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. Nothing was too much trouble! We will definitely return next time we visit Bowness!
