Second visit within a few months. Lovely, beautiful location and very quiet. Stayed in a room and a mezzanine on different visits, they are both spacious, clean, cosy, and comfortable. The beds are very comfortable and had a great night sleep. There is fresh milk and a breakfast in a bag ready each morning for each room and you can top us cereals, bread/toast with jam/ butter, tea/coffee, yogurts all free of charge in the horse trailer at the front. I left a shirt in the room and contacted Park Farm and has been sent to me in the post which was very kind. Next time we are visiting family we will be staying here every time! can't recommend highly enough!

the nicest hosts ever, and truly deserving of winning the 4 in a bed competition on c4. Great customer service and always on hand to help. Superb value for money and lovely cosy rooms in a stable block style. Really comfy beds and a great nights sleep. Have already rebooked when we are back in Newcastle in August. Cannot recommend highly enough

What a wonderful little gem! The owner managers are delightful, super hospitable and friendly with great attention to detail. The facilities were immaculately clean and the value for money is unmatched. Already booked a second stay for later in the year (for a family christening). Cannot recommend highly enough & deserving winners of multiple awards 😁

We stayed here last weekend for 2 nights and it was perfect. The unit was exceptionally clean and we had everything we needed. An endless amount of tea and coffee, with plenty milk available. There is a wee horse box full of jam, cereals, bread, a microwave and a toaster to help yourself. We got plenty of helpful information from the team and very useful directions and detail for our arrival. They even put the heater on to make sure the room was warm for when we arrived. A lovely touch. We would definitely recommend Park Farm and it is exceptional value for money.

Me and my fiance needed some time in a quiet place to unwind and gave a stress-free stay in somewhere with a bit more quality than usual. Coincidence led us to see the hotel/B&B feature on Channel 4's Four In A Bed a decade ago which in viewing showcased some beautiful mezzanine rooms that we had to see for ourselves. Not let down at all! We tend to get away a few times a year as we love to travel, personally over the years I've visited many hotels, cottages and holiday parks so I'm lucky to have a range of experiences over the years, so I like to try and choose wisely on where to take my fiance when we go anywhere for a few days. This is one of the nicest places I've ever stayed with certain elements of attention to detail I really appreciated. It was the perfect choice. Positives are many, from the basics like a good bed and pleasant decor with bags of charm, to the bonus bits like the breakfast bags for anyone there for more than a couple of days. The supplies of tea and coffee were generous in the room, as was the supply of bread, various milks and cereals in the horse box, it was just the sort of quirky idea I love. Outside the farm area was just charming and peaceful, a short walk up the road to some fields offers good views though I wouldn't recommend walking far due to the roads being windey and traffic driving a little quicker than ideal when you're a pedestrian. The views over Gateshead are wonderful though during the day but especially at night. Add to that the lights of passing aircraft and it's quite the scene. We were gutted to have to leave as it was as peaceful as can be, it was a chance find location that was clearly meant to be for us and I'd happily return one day. We fully intend to! If you're not local the roads close to it should be regarded as 15mph, thankfully it's not far to go but if you're not observant you could be caught out. Thanks Emily by the way for greeting us when we arrived, allowing us a slightly early check-in which we were very pleased by. Park Farm is something you should rightly be very proud of. Can't recommend enough!

I stayed for one night but what a great find. The whole experience was fantastic. It was lovely having a lounge and mezzanine bedroom. Very clean, very cosy and toasty warm. There is a trailer with additional food, tea, coffee etc which I didn’t need to use but what a brilliant idea. I have never had such a comprehensive information booklet including maps and directions to loads of places. Good wifi as well. It was fantastic. I can highly recommend Park Farm and will definitely be staying again!

Outstanding! Stayed for one night(family 2 rooms) as part of our Beamish visit and we were very impressed. Gorgeous, quiet countryside surroundings and immaculate warm comfortable rooms. Enjoyed the continental breakfast, shower brilliant and beds so comfortable. The courtyard lovely and loads of parking space. Thanking Emily and family for an amazing visit. Highly recommend.
