Overall experience was great, from arrival, to hotel room, to eating in the restaurant, had no issues. Booked this hotel due to location. We were at an event at ‘The Fed’, which was about 10mins max drive. Evening meal in restaurant was great. All staff very helpful/friendly. Definitely stay again.

My daughters and I booked two rooms for 2nd August 2022. The weather was nice but not too hot, only 17-20 C. The rooms, however, were a boiling hot 27-28 C right through the night. The staff brought extra fans but it made no difference. It was so unbearable the next morning that we checked out as early as we could and I had to do my makeup in the car, to avoid sweating it straight back off! I complained to customer services but was told that the Premier Inn ‘Goodnight Guarantee’ does not apply to room temperature! Would definitely not recommend staying here in Spring or Summer. Very disappointed that Premier Inn don’t honour their guarantees. Other than that, the staff were lovely, as they always are at Premier Inns, and the rooms were basic but clean.

Overnight stop at this premier inn was great. Rooms comfortable and staff great. We ate at the brewers fayre next door which was also enjoyable with good. It was only a brief stop over but an easy location to find and very convenient on the side of the A1

So my wife and myself thought we would come visit Newcastle and do some shopping at the metro shopping centre , we booked this hotel at £120 per night and this is far from a120 a night room , the smell in the room was awful so we got moved and that was no better the bed was so low it was just a mattress on the floor and the bathroom was in my words unsafe and the last room as you will see was absolutely awful so yeah 3 rooms in 10 minutes , blood on mirrors , cobwebs , splatted spiders on walls , tables all broken , stains on the carpets , there is so much to put down hear it’s endless , I looked into premier inn and from what I seen compared to the others , this is a beat up run down understaffed hotel / mosh pit , I booked in at just after 5 and left little after 9 so I was there for at most 3 1/2 hours. I drove from Scotland to have a nice weekend with my wife and it ended up just a complete waste of money and fuel as I drove back home . The only 1 good thing was Mathew at the desk , such a great person and he is wasted at this place . I would never recommend someone to stay hear unless it’s a last resort even then I’d rather sleep in my tent 150 miles away from this hotel , and for the folk who say it’s just a hotel etc I’m a manger of a hotel , Dakota Edinburgh so I was not being picky just know that there are standards and this hotel has not 1

We stayed 2 nights July 22, it was a reasonable price, this is a decent standard Premier Inn, the location for the metrocentre is excellent, you can catch a bus outside to the shopping centre or to the city, it's not far to the bus stop, it was £16 by taxi to Newcastle station, the staff here were very friendly, they're a good breed the Geordies, the room was excellent, 123, very comfy and quiet, nice and clean too, would stay here again no worries and would recommend especially if you're shopping in the metrocentre.

Warm greeting on arrival, staff very helpful and explained everything clearly. Room was just what we needed and there were no issues at all. Good deals on the breakfast for children improved the value for money also.
