Stayed here for just one night with my eldest son (28th August) and was really impressed at how friendly and helpful all the staff I encountered were.
All the receptionists were great, including being very helpful on the phone over parking and even emailing me some info over detailing the best places to park close to the hotel.
Breakfast was lovely with large glasses of orange juice instead of the silly tiny glasses you normally get at most places and the waitresses were again really friendly and couldn’t do enough for you.
Our room was clean and comfortable, couldn’t really ask for more.
Will definitely stay again on our next trip to Yarmouth

We stayed at The Prom for 4 nights on a coach holiday with Yorkshire Rose Holidays. We were given a warm welcome by the reception staff and given hot drinks and cake on arrival. Our cases were delivered to our room and left inside it before we got there. The room itself was large, freshly decorated with tasteful furniture. The bathroom was a good size with walk-in shower. The beds were extremely comfortable.
We were staying on half board basis and all the food was excellent with a good choice at both breakfast and dinner served by amazing staff who always had a smile and nothing was too much trouble. The same applied in the bar which was well stocked with reasonable prices.
On departure, the staff were all there to so goodbye and gave us all a hot scone and butter for our journey.
This hotel rates as one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in .
We would highly recommend The Prom to anyone.
Well done The Prom.

Exceptional service, care, hospitality from staff. Staff were very accommodating and always quick to assist with any concern and always intervened immediately. Clean and comfortable linen. Great comfy beds and a balcony. AC that works really well. Free parking across the road. Excellent room service. Would highly recommend the hotel.

No one informed us at the time of booking this has a holiday bar till 2am. No rest at all with the sound of the music pounding, and people outside drinking and enjoying the holiday bar. When I called I was informed I could leave my things in our room and be moved to another room however only had twin beds and to be honest at 11.40pm at night after the hours of the music pounding I felt it really wasn’t fair to have paid a tad more for an upgraded room to then have to be moved at that time of night.

Feeling, very low, disappointed and exhausted and felt we should of been informed at the time of booking so I could of booked somewhere else that didn’t have a holiday bar that goes on to 2am, because that is just not for everyone. Absolute waste of money and ruined the getaway.

My partners mum stayed here for a few nights with her grandaughter , who cares for her. When making the booking they made the hotel aware that she was less abled and suffers with mobility issues but this wasn’t accommodated for, they were offered no help with their luggage leaving her grandaughter to struggle with numerous bags and her Nan in the chair. on the first night they were left without hot water so unable to have shower, they were then moved to another room which wasn’t in great condition. The final nail in the coffin was the fact that the hotel took further money out of my partners mums account without her authorisation as they had supposedly damaged the mattress and this meant the room was out of action for the following night but the mattress was already damaged prior to them staying. This has left my partners mum distressed and upset and as someone recovering from from brain injury/surgery this isn’t acceptable, I definitely will not be recommending this hotel to anyone

We stayed for 4 nights.
All ok until last morning Saturday we went for breakfast at 9 am. Previous mornings we had fab porridge but Saturday they had a different chef. We ordered porridge and it arrived inedible so sent it back was them obviously put bottom of order queue and waited to order again, gave up with porridge and ordered bacon and eggs eventuality arrived altogether 1hour and 10 mins a later again very poor my scrambled eggs horrid.
Waitress them said it was a different chef to weekdays so obvious as he didn’t know how to cook porridge or deal with silver service orders.
No management around.
Felt sorry for waitresses as they were getting the flack.
Then got our bill wrong and computer couldn’t sort it out, we had a deadline to leave but ended up leaving 40 mins late.
Spoiled what was a nice few days away.
Would not go back

We travelled as a couple, within a small coach group, and had a really enjoyable stay. The staff couldn't do more to help us and the food was excellent. The hotel was well decorated in all the rooms, bright , cheerful and very clean. The position is central, with the promenade easily accessible, and the shopping centre only a short walk away. The highlight was the delicious breakfasts, I love fish, and was fortunate enough to have freshly cooked fish for breakfast each morning, either smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, smoked haddock and poached eggs or a pair of delicious kippers. My husband is not a fish lover and enjoyed his full English each morning. The evening meals were just as good, with a fish, meat or vegetarian choice each day. Our room overlooked the Britannia Pier. An ideal place for an out of season break. We certainly hope to visit again.

Our room was rather compact but was very nice, we felt the small table could have been removed along with the large standing lamp giving a bit more room, it had a full length mirror which was great and had plenty of power points in convenient spots plus a coupe of charging points. On one side the dresser was too close to the bed and my partner worried about turning over and hitting his head.
The breakfast room was lovely, light and airy, good decor and loved the chairs. Waiting staff were very good.
We made use of the outdoor seating area for drinks each evening which was very nice.
All staff we met were very pleasant and helpful.
Would recommend to stay

It was a last minute decision to visit for one evening. Because of this there was only one room available. The room was ok and the service both in the bar and at breakfast was very good. However when we had our evening meal there needed to be a lot more organisation. The waitresses seemed very young and had to keep checking with a rather disorganised gentleman. The food was acceptable but I do not think it was presented very well. Parking was available nearby in a private carpark and we was charged £10 (normally £7) as we were leaving early the following day

This lovely hotel is right on the seafront and we were lucky enough to be upgraded from an economy to a Seaview room free of charge. Room was comfortable and the full English breakfast was good quality and perfectly cooked and presented (although the coffee could have been better). Very friendly helpful staff.

Is there a lift to the rooms please?
Answer from Pauline T

Hi There is a lift, but unfortunately whilst we were visiting it went out of order. That wasn’t an issue for us as we could easily manage the stairs. However there was a number of disabled guests that struggled to get up and down the stairs.

In the cinema car park opposite, ask in the hotel when checking in.
