We returned to Scotland this year and arranged to stay, once again, at Kelson Lodge in Kinross. Like our previous visit, this was not a disappointment, in any way. The location, overlooking the beautiful Loch Leven makes for stunning views. To start, the room (which was the same one we had before) was comfortable, clean and modern with a breath taking view. For those that enjoy a cup of tea anytime- there was a kettle with coffee, tea and some rather nice biscuits. As a bed and breakfast, your morning starts out as good as it could- home made bread and jams; fresh juice and fruit with yogurt and then there are hot meals on offer, cooked to perfection by George, one of the owners. You are given a front door key to come and go as you please. The best thing about Kelson Lodge is the owners- Liz and George. They are warm and welcoming people who make you want to come back visit after visit. Kelson Lodge has everything going for it and is a must for anyone travelling through this area of Scotland.

Our room was modern, warm and clean with beautiful views. The hosts couldn't of been more helpful. Recommending places to see nearby. Well worth a walk round the lake, friendly local pubs. Recommend a visit highly.

Liz and George run an amazing venue. The views are beautiful, the breakfast is delicious and the hospitality is outstanding! They really took us under their wing to make sure we had a great experience in Kinross. It is a bit out of the way, so if you are not driving, it could be a little difficult, but if you plan well and in advance, taxis and trasnportation can be arranged. With the sloped ceiling, anyone over 6 feet may have minor issues. Our room was upstairs, and it was narrow, so only one pack could be brought up at a time. Overall rating is 5 stars of 5 stars!

Kelson Lodge was simply spectacular. Clean tidy, and welcoming. It was a pleasure to stay here. The views of the mountains and the lake were breath taking. The hosts could not have been more friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was awesome, with local produce and you could really taste the difference. i highly recommend Kelson Lodge, and look forward to re visiting in the future.

Absolutely fantastic stay. Exceptionally welcoming hosts full of knowledge of the surrounding area. We had the private bath which was very modern and clean. Great views to wake up to in the morning and an amazing locally sourced breakfast. Would totally recommend!
