We stayed for a week and were thrilled with our visit. The building is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable and quiet, the breakfasts are delicious, and the hosts are warm and welcoming. The location is right where you want to stay. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Parking is quick and easy. The WiFi is fast, the beds are great, the hot water is hot, and the water pressure is abundant. A hidden bonus of staying with hosts Lynn and Jim is their knowledge of the local area. Don't miss your chance to ask questions during breakfast. You'll get detailed info on local walks, history, attractions, and restaurants. They are a resource adding huge value to a stay with them. Perfect.

Great B&B ! Location just perfect in the town centre, everything with walking distance Very welcoming and friendly host giving a lot of advice and being very easy (we could leave later than planned) Very nice and comfy room with a good size, very clean and with a Scottish decoration. The only thIng is the shower which could have more pressure. Wonderful breakfast with high quality ingredients In conclusion, if you go to the Shetland islands, go to this B&B 🤩🤩

I stayed for three nights at this wonderful establishment during the Up Helly Aa festival. The owners were some of the nicest and most thoughtful hosts I’ve ever encountered. First of all, the guest house is clean and thoughtfully furnished. In your room you will find very nice personal touches including treats and tea service. They provided wonderful intelligence about local attractions and strategies for attending various events. They provide a fantastic hand cooked breakfast which they make themselves for you every morning. And they truly care about their guests experience. The photograph I am attaching is evidence of how thoughtful they are. I plan to return to Shetland in 2021 and I will definitely be planning my trip around when this location is available! Highly recommend!!

2 nights stay at the B&B and I cannot praise the hosts highly enough. We arrived early on the Wednesday morning hoping they would allow us to leave our bags. They not only said leave bags, but allowed us to check in there and then AND given choice of rooms. Jim and Kareen (sister and brother) could not have been more friendly, helpful and kinder to us. OK... The B&B! Just Wow! Words come flooding... Warm, inviting, comfortable, tasteful, immaculate, spotless, well located... I could go on. The room we chose was on the top floor (room 4). BEAUTIFULLY decorated. The bed was amazingly comfortable and with plenty of storage. Tea and coffee making facilities were available with good choice of biscuits. Fresh bottled water and milk in the fridge. Yes, a fridge. The bathroom... Fabulous. Warm, lovely shower, lovely towels and quality products. Dove toiletries no less. No shabby sachets here. The Food... The breakfast was definitely THE best breakfast I have ever had. Fresh fruit, juices, cereals, yoghurt (beautiful and creamy) piping hot breakfast and Perfect coffee... Completely faultless. Those poached eggs Jim - I have no words. Perfection on a plate. Jim and Kareen (not Karen😉) were the perfect hosts. Friendly, funny, helpful and informative. We felt very welcomed. And entertained. Kareen even offered to 'do' our hair (and husbands beard) as it was Halloween. Pity we didn't manage that but next time for sure. Our stay flew by and if we ever return, we will not hesitate to book this place. Its walking distance from the ferry too which is a bonus. To top it off, on the day we left, Jim even took our cases x2 and rucksacks x2 to the ferry port and dropped them into the baggage store. THAT was a massive help to us and we cannot thank him enough. All in All we had an amazing stay on the island, great food, great music, some lovely walking.... And all for our 10th wedding anniversary. Definitely made the right choice. Thank you both so much for your hospitality and generosity. Until next time because I need to try the special porridge and special fruit salad 😜.
