We booked our two night break through Living Social. It was a brilliant deal for two nights bed and breakfast. We upgraded to a sea view room for and extra £30 which brought the total cost to about £103. We chose this hotel as it was close to my cousin in StAnnes but I’m sure the Mode in Lytham will be just as good. The room was average size but well equipped with a comfortable bed , tea & coffee making facility, a nice size bathroom with a great shower and fluffy white towels. All areas of the hotel were immaculately clean. The bar is stylish and comfortable and the kind of bar we were happy to go back to for a nightcap. The buffet style continental breakfast was beautifully presented and had a wide variety including the usual cereals, smoked salmon, ham, salami and hard boiled eggs and lots lots more. Everything was replenished regularly so you were never disappointed. The staff were all pleasant and efficient, if there was anything you wanted you just had to ask. We will most certainly return to the Mode, it is a super hotel within walking distance of the beach and town centre. What’s not to like. Give it a try.

Wonderful welcome by really friendly staff who can't do enough for you, fabulous bar area, spotlessly clean throughout and despite reservations about continental breakfast was blown away at choice and quality. Will be returning without a shadow of a doubt.

We booked a deluxe sea view room ,and it's what we got, great view, room clean and well equipped, a little on the small side,as with some of the hotel rooms you only get 1 chair to sit on which is quite annoying when you are expected to sit on the bed.Breakfast was ok it was continental, there was car parking at the hotel but a little tight if you had a big car but plenty free parking on the road outside the hotel. In all it was a good stay and I would stay here again. .

Enjoyable stay at lively hotel in the promenade at Saint Anne’s. Friendly staff and very clean hotel with excellent continental breakfast. Would highly recommend a stay here. Have a Gin happy hour in the bar and lots of choice of different Gin. The beds are large and comfortable bedding and nice quality towels.

Hotel staff excellent. Room size more than adequate for two. Location excellent - promenade on your door step. Two issues that should not have occurred: 1. Floor boards in our room and the room above were very squeeky and our sleep was disturbed when occupant moved around. Likewise I assume anyone underneath us would be disturbed by us. 2. Shower flow not particularly great and after my shower my wife ended up having a cold shower with no hot water On a personal note we found the bed a bit too hard but this might not be the case for everyone. Good selection at breakfast.
