A modern glass building with panoramic views, The PENZ Hotel openend its doors in 2002 as Innsbruck's first ever design hotel. In terms of furnishings, The Penz Hotel, located in the heart of the city, resembles the outer building - a lot of glass, paired with earthy colors and wood makes a comfortable yet sophisticated look. That extra special something is to be discovered on the 5tth floor, where the bar and restaurant offer spectacular views of Innsbruck for breakfast in the mornings or by night at the American Bar

Stayed on the 4th floor above a courtyard bar below where people gathered to smoke Would of liked to have my window open but the cigarette smoke coming up was unbearable and caused a asthma attack. No sleep I could put up with the noise while they smoked

Hotel's Favourite
The Penz is in a great location close to the old town. The building is stylish with a breathtaking rooftop terrace, where breakfast is served in the morning and which functions as a cool bar in the evenings. Service in the Penz is impeccable. The breakfast is about the best we ever experienced. Standard rooms are functional, some have a view, but this is sufficient because there is no reason in Innsbruck to spend much time in your room.

This is our favorite hotel while visiting various Christmas markets in Europe for 3 weeks. It's modern and in a great location, right around the corner of old town Innsbruck. We booked a deluxe double room with breakfast included. That's the best buffet breakfast. So many varieties to choose from and with very good quality of food. Mini bar, coffee/tea maker, free Wi-Fi, air condition, etc. Our room has a very nice view of a mountain. There's a self parking entrance attached to the hotel as well as a small shopping mall. Will not hesitate to stay here again next time we go to Innsbruck.

Spent early January here and had a spacious, quiet, very comfortable room, partial view of the mountains, and very good service. Breakfast is included at a restaurant on the top floor and it was wonderful. Our fellow guests were all quiet and well behaved. Some other hotels we looked at looked like they might have a rowdier clientele. The hotel is located next to a small indoor mall, about a 3 minute walk to an outdoor shopping area and 4-5 minute walk from the old town. We were able to walk everywhere, including from the train station (15 minutes). Innsbruck itself is charming, seems safe, and is easy to navigate.

Loved our stay here! The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are nice and clean, and the location is perfect. We also loved the rooftop bar area with gorgeous views of the city. Reception was awesome and helped us find an incredible restaurant just outside of Innsbruck for an authentic Austrian dinner. I would stay here again!

We were there for 3 nights at Penz, the first night was uncomfortable as AC was not working, and the Bathroom had no hot water too. We complain to MMT and later the hotel changed the room and then things were fixed. The best thing about staying is the Breakfast at the hotel it has too many fruit options along with different cereals and dry fruits. We have one of the best breakfasts during our stay.

Right in the centre of town, be careful as google maps has a bit difficulty to give directions, this modern style hotel. Good rooms, the standard room we had was a bit small. Bathroom with shower in the bath. Parking garage conveniently under the hotel. Rooktop breakfast area where at night you can zip a cocktail. Really large, so no cosy atmosphere. Did not have breakfast, so cannot judge on it. Ok staff.
