Very Disappointed! We had booked a suit and paid more and the room was really dirty, paint would come out as well as the room terrace. The service and the personell were really bad ! Well overpriced for what it is.
We booked 1 room and it was with another room next to it, seems that all rooms are like that. Anything said from the other room you could hear it. No rest at all. Specially when the woman next door was talking to the phone for 3 hours non stop in Russian and you could hear the other person answering in the phone as well. I didn't get a family room but a double room just to have some rest. Never again to this hotel. As far as the cleaning is concerned was not done as it should and had missing towels and soap. Now with the covid situation cleaning had to be the fist priority in all rooms and areas. Unfortunately we came across another disgusting insistent which was 💩 poop in the stairs.
A lovely clean hotel, good housekeeping. Rooms cleaned every day. Breakfast good (british fry up and also kosher). Dinner is expensive at 25 euros each. Food is good but nothing out of the ordinary. The hotel is quite a way from Paphos and there is no beach, just rocks, but there are three pools. Loads of cats roaming about. I personally would not return to this hotel as, without a car and a disabled husband, we felt a bit hemmed in. Friendly staff. Lots of children. Weather in December is quite cool.
I had to find another hotel 2 weeks before our holiday as the original had closed. I came across the Capital Coast Hotel and Spa which incorporated the Blue Lagoon Kosher Hotel. Something I knew nothing of. The hotel was a building if two halves. The kosher elements occupying the lower levels of the hotel, incorporating kosher dining and synagogue and other activities. The 1st floor level having a bar and dining room for the gentiles. It all worked seamlessly, hopefully for all of us. The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating from the first. A couple of room glitches which could be fixed, were done so with timely efficiency. Housekeeping was brilliant, and the room was spotless and properly cleaned daily, with attention to detail. We had arranged for a hire car for our second week, and when the car arrived, I managed to launch myself from the front step of the hotel onto one knee. The effort to assist was epic. I was tended, and ice packs provided. All was well for a car the next day. The buffet meals were a treat to behold and enjoy. A splendid selection of options, well presented and delivered to the dining room. Delicious. Staff maintained the area to ensure all dishes were topped up and well tended. Dining staff were friendly, highly efficient and professional. Maria in the bar, was friendly, kind and knowledgable. A true asset to the Capital Coast. Well done to the management and staff. This hotel does need some loving care, and a few licks of paint, but we found nothing to warrant less than a 5 star, and are delighted to say so. Well done all, and thank you.…
The Hotel is situated next to the Tombs of the Kings a phantastic location with great history and natural beauty. The architecture of the hotel is very functional offering great views of the sea and beautiful sunsets. The personnel is very helpful. What pleased us most was the Spa Services. Marina the manager was very warm and helpful. We did body massage me and my husband. It was so relaxing and pleasant. Jurinta and Dimos are really very well trained and very professionals. We highly recommend Capital Coast and Spa Resort in Paphos. We will be visiting the hotel again soon.
