Stayed over Xmas and New year, we had a bubbling toilet that smelt disgusting, the whole hotel was woken 3 times 3am-5am due to people smoking in room No 24 hour security so drunk idiots running around naked at 3am diving in pool shouting, screaming foul language, loud music coming from one room that echoed around the whole apartment's. Lots of stray cats about which use the hedges and plant areas as a toilet, be acceptable if the hotel cleaned and sanitised the areas to avoid the resulting smell.
Stayed here a few times using booking.com. Never had a problem until today. The owner GEORGE Refused to look at my booking confirmation said I'd booked "with a cheap company " one I'd never heard of and told me because of that my room would have no heating! It's winter and I had exactly the same booking only a week ago. That's not the worst he was shouting abusive and shouting "Get out your not saying here!" AVOID AND DON'T BOOK USING BOOKING.COM. I have applied for a refund
Crystallo is located very nicely in Kato Paphos providing good access to the city's best restaurants, best archaeological places and of course the sea. The cleaning ladies made sure that the rooms were cleaned on a daily basis, leading to a very clean room. The owner George in his son Stathis offer clear value for money. Both are really kind and helpful and they want to ensure that the guests are enjoying to the maximum. We had quite some contact with Stathis, who is great guy who provided us with some very useful tips and recommendations for Paphos.
We spent one week in Crystallo in late October and we are very satisfied with our stay. If we visit Paphos gain, Crystal Apartments would be our first choice. There's no luxuries, but apartments are spacious, clean, and well equipped with everything you need. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, so just ask if you need anything. The location of the Crystallo Apartments is very good, quiet and without too much traffic, only 10 minutes walk to the port (with its long seaside promenade) and Papantoniou supermarket. Don't forget to buy food for cats if you go there ;) There's few sandy beaches on the rocky coast of Paphos, and the nearest one can be reached with a 25 minutes long, pleasant walk along the seaside (in the opposite direction to the archaeological site). Some people complained in their reviews about the air condition, no opinion from us here as we didn't need it in October. The fridge was a bit noisy, and the bathroom is really small, neither of those was a problem for us though. We were at first a bit dissapointed to be located in the building "on the other side of the street" (there are two hotel buildings), not the main one, but eventually we were happy with that. If your apartment is located on the ground floor, it's good to be a cat lover, as you can expect visits of local cats (clean and well-behaved!). The apartments on the ground floor at the steet side have a terrace instead of a balcony. There's a quick-set hedge separating it from the street, so it's ok! In late Autumn I would avoid the northern side of that building - no sun at all. There's not too much to do in the hotel itself (there's a pool but a very small one), so the Crystallo Apartments are a great place to stay for all those who prefer active leisure, sightseeing, etc. And there's a lot to do in Paphos and the area!…
Nice complex with large rooms and little kitchen included Fairly central location with a short walk to the beach front or mall etc Good value for money Our room had a side balcony looking on to the garden so quite private other rooms over looked the pool which we didn't use but only because we didn't stay many nights and wanted to do more sight seeing
