First of all, I want to give a special mention to GEORGE the restaurant manager, what a great person he is! He personally spoke to guests and made every effort to do his duties and accommodate everyone. He is the beating heart of the Mayfair Hotel and a huge credit to the business. He went out of his way to get us some fresh fruit for us to take to the water park. The hotel grounds are attractive, well looked after and clean. The rooms were again clean, tidy and organised. Comfy beds. The maids did a decent job. The view wasn’t up to much but then again I didn’t request or pay more for a pool view. The shower wasn’t the most powerful either. Getting sunbeds wasn’t an issue but it was September, never waited long for a drink unless it was last orders The entertainment was pretty bad, probably the worst I’ve seen in a hotel aboard. However, we were in September, maybe it’s better in peak summer? I have to say, for what the hotel is and the price you pay, the food was absolutely outstanding, perfect. So much choice and never failed to find something to eat. Staff were always on hand refilling the buffet with fresh food. Never empty. They do cater very well for the English! The restaurant was clean, tidy and well organised too. The location was decent if you are able bodied and are willing to walk into town, 10/15 minute walk to the beach/main promenade. Bare in mind the hotel is in a residential setting and isn’t very pretty in the immediate surrounding areas. Staff were generally pleasant although the waitresses in the main bar area on an evening were very rude, especially the one with dark hair. I can’t remember her name! She never smiled and didn’t offer to take drink orders. You had to beg her for a drink and she would just nod her head and not speak. Mayfair you need to sort this staff member out! Finally, the Aphrodite water park is a must, good value for money and it’s huge! Something for everyone. The beach is man made, not natural and you have to pay for sunbeds, they are good though. Paphos is not the place for beach goers/sun worshippers. If you want a proper beach go to Coral Bay. Highly recommend the pelican restaurant on the beach front, amazing food! Rent a car through reception! Best thing we did all holiday, such a fun way of seeing places and saving money! You get to see so much more of the island this way. Do the Wave Dancer sunset cruise! Entertainment, food and snorkelling included. Great value for money. Overall - Great value for money and no major issues.

Room Tip: Don’t go in July/August as I would expect the hotel would become over crowded and service...

We have just come back from a week stay at the Mayfair hotel. I have mixed reviews which I will state below. Pros: 1. The food was amazing, they offered varied food to please everyone. I like how they had different themes for every day of the week which we enjoyed. 2. The hotel was very clean and exceeded our expectations. 3. I can't recommend the staff enough for their politeness and hard work it made our stay enjoyable. 4. Great entertainment on the night time which is suited for both adults and children. 5 . Good selection of drinks to enjoy on those sunny days. Cons: 1. Even though the hotel was next to the shopping centre, the location was rough, the streets were dirty with overfilling bins, cigarettes all over the floor and gangs outside which I felt a little unsafe. It's not your typical walk out the hotel with beaches and lovely buildings. 2. The rooms were clean but needed a update. The view from our room was a run building facing a skip so we never used the balcony for that reason. 3. I think the pools could do with an update, but it didn't spoil the holiday it just looked a bit tired. 4. There were a group of foreign footballers whom which were rude, pushed me over on one occasion and were running round the hotel causing noise and disruption,I don't have anything against large groups but it did make the stay less pleasurable. 5. The snack bar was not even a snack bar, if you call fruit cake and chips snacks I suggest taking it away completely. 6. I witnessed a child taking a fit - nobody came to assist other than the bar lady called IA I believe she was great. I am appaled at the level of compassion which was provided. I know some of those may seem harsh but for value for money is a tough one as I think this hotel could be so much more if the facilities were updated. To say the least we won't return for the cons.

Friendly and competent staff and hotel has a very nice atmosphere. 2 big pools with plenty of space to relax on sunbeds. Meals were enjoyable with something to eat for everyone. The dining room staff are excellent and must be commended, they work together like a well-oiled machine and make guests feel very welcome. Our room was spacious, clean, with great walk in shower and lovely balcony overlooking the pool. Hotel location is excellent - 400 metres to the Kings Mall, and another 12 mins walk down the road gets you to the harbour area with all the restaurants, cafes, shops, etc. Currently there is a work site next to the hotel, the hotel needs to put up some bright lights on the path where guests walk from the road to the hotel. Thanks Mayfair for a lovely stay!

I was in Mayfair Hotel with my husband on our first wedding anniversary. We spend there 5 days. Staff very nice and helpful. With some of them we still have contact :) Rooms were clean. Large selection of meals, drinks (perfect drinks on all inclusive) - really delicious, especially desserts - last day they changed dessert master. Additional entertainment during the day: aqua aerobic and games. Perfect location of swimming pools: one for kids with slides and so on, second more quiet. We could find some empty sunbeds during the day. Varied evenings: karaoke, traditional Greek dance - something for kids and adults. Gym was closed because of COVID.Mayfair Hotel it's great place to relax. We recommend to visit. It was great time for us :)
