This is the first hotel ever I've actually left. It was so terrible I can't understand why it has such good reviews. Yes, it is visually very beautiful and the location is great but that's about it. Everything else is bad. The bed is rock hard and impossible to sleep on. Not that you would sleep much anyway since you can hear every single word from the room next door and from the corridor. You can literally follow a conversation through the wall. The airconditioning is also quite noisy. A hotel room where you can't sleep is utterly useless. The receptionist came to the room to see what we ment with our complaints about the bed. He looked really ill and sneezed many times without his mask covering his face at all, not even the mouth. He was basically wearing it on his neck for show. In our room! While sneezing. I hope for his sake we didn't get covid! I told him he should wear his mask in rooms and he just said he takes covid tests often. You can still spread it if you contracted it after your last test! And I don't exactly want any of your other viruses either...  I've never seen such ignorance and disregard of guest safety in a hotel. Btw, there's no view from the balcony in standard rooms. At all. The trees block everything. Don't book a room here. Just don't do it. It's ridiculous we needed to pay for the first night. THEY should pay US for compensating the time we now missed since we weren't able to sleep all night and missed some things we had planned because we were too tired. We will be asking our money back. Tip: always ask to see your room before paying and try the bed!

Love the fact you are allowed to take pets into this hotel! And they look after the cats around the hotel. None of the cats were hungry so didn't try to get on your table while eating in the court yard. People friendly. Rooms clean and tidy. Breakfast ok. For basic room with lots of character and close to amenities this is perfect and a great price.

Checked into this hotel for just a one night stay prior to flying to UK the next day. Easy to find, easily accessible on street parking. Really well presented hotel, every room individually decorated (by hand it looks like). Large room, good facilities, clean bathroom, bed just a little hard and low for me but my friend thought it was great for her bad back..!! Staff were very friendly and welcoming, evening buffet a little cold and minimal selection but enough choice to fill up on. Lovely pool area which then doubles up as “al fresco” dining for mealtimes. Waiter, waitress and barmaid very attentive. Breakfast had a fairly good choice but again, food not hot enough. Would definitely consider returning for a longer stay.

Room Tip: Upper level and not looking into the road is best.

This hotel is very unique in its design but all that has been said already. Staff were friendly and helpful during our visit and the buffet breakfast was good with a decent choice. Too cold for the pool unfortunately , probably needs to be a month later in the year for that. Hotel is very well located for exploring Paphos Harbour and town, lying between the two. My only real gripes were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room and a light on the balcony wouldn’t go amiss. Otherwise an excellent stay

I was pleasantly surprised with this one of a kind hotel. To say this hotel is unique is an understatement. The hotel is embellished with Greek and Roman murals. Some are hard to explain to young children! LOL! The service is very good, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast is excellent. The location is ground zero for all endeavors. Since we had our one year old daughter with us, they were really considerate by bringing us a play pin and giving us a huge room for my family. I recommend this hotel highly.
