Forget about this hotel if you can't speak Turkish because the staff have very limited English. Breakfast was full Turkish regardless of what you ask for. Room: Needed refurbishment, bathroom needed gutting and re-fitting. Halfway through our stay, returned to the room one afternoon to find curtains missing. On inquiry, we were told they would be returned next day.

1. The general appearance was that it is badly in need of renovation top to bottom. 2. The room was 103 yet the key was for 403, the TV had three channels all Turkish there was coffee making facilities but no coffee, sugar etc. 3. Thebathroom`s chrome fitting had no chrome and a dead cockroach behind the door. No hot water in shower or wash hand basin which had no plug. 4. There were a number of smashed panes of glass in the building. 5. The surrounds of the swimming pool was covered in litter, the gardens were unkempt the pool had green slime on the bottom. 6. The breakfast consisted if bread, cheese and little else, when I asked for coffee I was told they didn`t have any.

Spent 2 nights here last week and had an enjoyable stay. The hotel although needing some TLC on the outside was good inside. The reception area was good, with comfortable chairs. Our room was lovely and was very large and the bathroom was good with a corner shower cubicle, everything was clean and tidy. However, the breakfast let this hotel down slightly due to the lack of items. There was no fruit juice, only water available, no breakfast cereal and no butter. The bread was delicious and jams were available. While it would not put us off going back to the hotel, it would be nice if the hotel re looked at their breakfast options. We noticed that a lot of guests brought their own juice and cereal as the breakfast was a basic one if you were there for a week or more.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights while visiting Kyrenia and after seeing the outside of the hotel in need of some TLC, we were very pleasantly surprised by our room. The room we were allocated was in a building just across from the reception area and was really lovely, it was very large, had 2 beds, was spotlessly clean and looked to have been fairly recently refurbished. The bathroom was also large and had a corner shower cubicle. Couldn't fault the room at all. Breakfast however was rather interesting, no fruit juice only water, no breakfast cereal and no butter/margarine at all for the amazing bread which was on offer, there was some jams. Breakfast consisted of boiled eggs and cheeses, olives, cucumber and tomato with bread, jams and tea or coffee. While we are not big breakfast eaters we always like to have some fruit juice and bread is nice with some butter. However, this has not put us off going back as we would at least know what to expect for breakfast and could bring our own as a lot of the guests did while we were there. A real shame that this hotel does not try to perk up their breakfast a little to make it more appealing.

Our stay was quite disappointing, the hotel looks to be deserted, we've seen around 5 more guests, maybe it's not the season yet. The rooms are quite old, old furniture and beds, shower was bit dirty and getting clogged every time you use it. On top of that the limited stuff knew very little English. The SPA was not in use, don't know if it even exists, and breakfast is basic. To be recommended if you're looking only for a place to sleep in between your betting sessions and nothing more.

The first room we were given was so tired it was asleep. the bath was actually peeling. Everything looked like it hadn't been touched since it was built. After changing rooms to the main building it was a little better but the carpet was really badly stained and again very dated. We also had ants in the bathroom and bedroom. The only way we could get a drink was through the reception as there was no bar and we could not get one in the Casino as we were not dressed correctly. Breakfast consisted of a table with a plate of tomato , a plate of cucumber, some boiled eggs, some cheese and jam and bread. The orange juice tasted like it was made with powder. I have never seen such a poorly displayed breakfast. Overall it was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and I have stayed in quite a few. I know it wasn't expensive and the location was good but there was no excuse for such a low standard.

Stayed here 2 nights at the beginning of our university field course. The bungalows by the pool are great! The rooms that aren't, aren't so great. Our shower was broken. It was also difficult to speak with the owners as they didn't speak English well. They ended up putting three of us into a twin room. Our friend had to sleep on the floor. Good to stay at, though slightly inconvenient at times. WiFi only works in the reception area.

We wanted a cheap room close to Kyrenia and that is what we got. We have stayed here in the past and it was a pleasant, family-run hotel. This time it was obvious that it was low season and staff were scarce. Breakfast was not as good as when the elderly lady was running it. She always came out with some fresh, home grown fruit. This time there was a young woman chatting to a friend and when we asked if there was any butter we were told it was all gone. We arrived shortly after the 8.00 am start for breakfast so we weren't late. The bread looked delicious but I couldn't eat it without butter. The room was massive with a large double bed and a single bed, and plenty of room to move around. The bathroom was large and clean. In the past we stayed in the main part just upstairs from where the old reception was situated. This time we were out the back in what looked like a refurbished part of the building.

We spent four nights in September in Hotel Club Z(with our two kids). Actually reading the comments here, and considering that we paid nearly the minimum we could pay to spend (accomodation, breakfast , pool and close to center) i was not so positive about the hotel before arrival. We stayed on the left wing of the hotel, the old part. The bathrooms were renovated, beds were comfortable. For the price we paid, it was a good accommodation. The hotel was not too crowded, we could use the pool comfortably. The breakfast was limited but ok. Overall i would not call it "horrible, awful...etc" as for the price you pay you get all you need with limited quality- but not bad.

Having read the reviews before booking we were not expecting very much. We really needed a hotel close enough to walk to Kyrenia and leave our car in the hotel parking (as parking is so difficult in Kyrenia). For this it was perfect, which was the main reason for the choice. One km from town and an easy safe walk. It was like going back 40 years in time - not sure that any work would have been done in that time. The staff were very pleasant, though we were not allowed milk in our coffee - which did not matter but made it rather memorable. Breakfast was ok and all part of travelling. Our room, well it was purple on the bed head, again different from what we had ever experienced, but had a nice outdoor terrace to sit and enjoy a drink before heading into town for dinner. There was a casino (not our thing) and plenty of noise in the night with other guests returning to their rooms along the noisy corridors. There was so much in need of repair, broken tiles, broken lights in the corridor. In fact, an occupational and health disaster! As we said it served its purpose for us and was clean! So all good for our lovely 2 days spend in Kyrenia. Was not terrible but not good either. Would recommend only to people who know what to expect and don't want to spend much on a room!
