Stayed here for one week. The hotel location is Gzira which is on the edge of Sliema. There is building work going on locally but that just shows the area is on the up but at the expense of losing the island character houses and...More
The hotel is well placed. Beautiful view form the restaurant. Really well furnished and cleaned. The brakfast is really good and there is more than enough food, fruid and drinks. The welcome drink event was also really good.

Can't say 100% for sure what you'll get, but some of the rooms are in a separate building down a side street. While these don't have a sea view and have the central shaft you're talking about, they all had balconies and are actually quieter. The central shaft all had bathroom windows, so not really an issue. The rooms in the main building are on the main road so you'll get more traffic noise. It depends if you want a sea view or a quieter space.
