Tower Suites Reykjavik stands out for its exceptional service, with guests frequently lauding the attentive and personalized care provided by the staff. Nestled in a sweet spot close to downtown, the hotel offers easy access to local attractions while maintaining a sense of tranquility. The cleanliness of its rooms and facilities consistently receives high marks, as does the modernity and comfort of the amenities, including the lauded in-room breakfast service. While the hotel is generally considered to offer good value, boasting spacious rooms with breathtaking views, a few guests have mentioned higher expectations given the price point. However, the overall atmosphere is celebrated for its beautiful design and inviting ambiance.

I originally selected Tower Suites for the view and the decor of the rooms. Having selected the Invisible Service option, I was a bit anxious about the level of s service I would be receiving. I was pleasantly surprised that there was little difference from a full service hotel in the vast majority of services.

There was personnel most hours (600-2300) and as I was having troubles with my phone still was able to get a normal keycard for entry to the building and room. I was also unsure if Invisible Service meant I would not get housekeeping for the duration of my start (3 nights) but am happy to report that I received housekeeping in like with any other establishment.

The staff was professional and helpful (I needed an impromptu umbrella and they were able to oblige. I was blown away by the quality of the “continental breakfast”; I was expecting some danishes and juice, but I would be a more appropriate to describe it as a spread. I was refreshing to have some complementary drinks and snacks in the room after a long day of sightseeing.

The view from the room was spectacular and did not disappoint (had an ocean and city view room).

As long as it is available, I believe the Tower Suites will be my go to when I visit Reykjavik in the future.

My family had booked a family suite in their sister property. I received an email a few days before asking if I would like to upgrade to the Towers because of a booking issue. We agreed. The room we got was a corner suite with views of the harbor and town. The hotel brought in a roll away so my teenagers did not have to share a bed and even had our laundry sent out for cleaning for free since this hotel did not have a washer/dryer and the other one did.

They went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the move. The manager emailed me several times after check-in to make sure the accommodations were suitable. When I mentioned the "romantic" type room we were in did not afford much bathroom privacy for my teenagers to shower or use the bathroom (open bathroom concept), they immediately opened a second room next door for us to use for showering and bathroom use. Basically we got two full rooms. (one being a suite). That is incredible service. The manager emailed again to make sure this was satisfactory. The staff was extremely accommodating and never acted like we were an issue. They were extremely understanding and wanted us to have a great experience. They just wanted to make us happy. And they did. I sat and visited with one desk person for 30 minutes getting to run down on the Northern Lights and other interesting stuff. She was interested in sharing and never bothered.

I would be remise if I did not mention the breakfast. At your selected time, they provided the best breakfast i have ever had at a hotel. We rolled out of our room into the sitting area and they had placed out four settings complete with orange juice, cereal with individual bottles of milk, fruit bowls, charcuterie board with meats, cheese, etc. fresh bread and doughnuts. It was incredible. I wish I took a picture because the presentation was as good as the food.

Due to the extremely top notch service and attention they gave my family and the extra touches like the breakfast I would highly recommend this hotel!

Beautiful stylish suite, with fantastic panoramic views of Reykjavik. Both our Bed and the extra bed for our teenage daughter were very comfortable. Lots of towels were provided along with Icelandic products (shower gel, shampoo conditioner and body lotion). Fantastic breakfast was provided each morning and we asked if we wanted to change anything each morning tailoring to our individual needs. The onsite staff were amazing - ensuring that we had everything we needed. The suite also has a minibar and also has an honesty bar in the lobby area, which also is very stylish and an enjoyable place to sit and relax after a day site seeing. The location of the suites is perfect for a leisurely walk into the old town which you can do by walking along the riverside. Saving at the Tower Suites Reykjavik was an added bonus to our holiday. I would highly recommend staying here.

Tower Suites : Katrinartun 2, 20th floor, 105 Reykjavik
Tower Suites is an interesting concept: 8 suites located on the top floor of a 20 story office building, slightly away from the City Center of Reykjavik, but still within walking distance of the important tourist-related locations. We utilized Tower Suites driver to pick us up and return us to the airport (extra charge) which is in Keflavik, about 45 minutes away. The Suites are modern and bright, and our suite, #4, was located adjacent to the main gathering area, where cocktails and beverages are available, and breakfast is sometimes served. (It is also served in your room on some days.) The suite itself was airy and spacious, with a king sized bed and warm and comfortable duvets for each of us. Closet space and counter space were ample, although there was not an actual desk. Wifi is free, and signal strength was strong and handled all our devices without difficulty. The bathroom was spacious and modern, also. The staff we encountered were uniformly pleasant & professional, and were very helpful to us. Breakfast was served in our room one day, in the main area in buffet style another day, and on our third morning we departed early (4:40 a.m.!) and received a ‘to-go’ bag of food, which we appreciated. It is about a 20-25 minute walk along the bay shoreline to the Opera House (Harpa), which is adjacent to the harbor and the City Center shopping district. The weather was delightful during our 3 days in Iceland, and walking was not a problem, but I wouldn’t want to do it in cold or wet weather. We received excellent recommendations from the staff, who were genuinely pleasant at all times. There is a Hop On Hop Off bus stop acriss the street from the building, making it convenient if you want to utilize this option. We took a private Golden Circle tour with Hidden Iceland, which is the subject of a separate (excellent) review, and our knowledgeable and friendly guide, Fannar Andresson, picked us up and dropped us off at Tower Suites. I didn’t explore the other hotel options in Reykjavik, because we followed the lead of friends who had previously stayed at Tower Suites, but I would consider Tower Suites a strong option for someone spending a few days in Reyjkavic.

We just finished a wonderful stay at this marvelous, quiet little hotel that has us hoping to return again very soon.
On the top floor of a building a few short blocks from the main tourist area, the views from our room and the lounge were spectacular and we found the location perfect;close enough to easily walk but away from the congestion, to the extent that exists in Iceland.
The staff is fantastic with each of the people working there eager to take care of any needs you might have, help with a tour or dinner reservation. The breakfast served each morning is carefully made up by hand, contains more delicious food than you could eat in two meals and did delivered to your room each morning.
The bathrooms are well appointed and have great showers as well. The entire hotel space is also immaculately clean.
We can’t say enough about this small, but really great, relaxing property,

Mesmerizing! That's how I would describe our experience at the Tower Suite in Reykjavik. After a long journey, nothing could have warmed our hearts more than the sweet welcome from the incredibly hospitable staff.

When we thought of grappling with airport taxis or buses, we prearranged private chauffeur. We were delighted to be allowed an early check-in, a testimony to their keen attention to weary travelers.

Our anniversary celebration couldn't have found a better backdrop. With the convenience of the location, there wasn't a site in Reykjavik that felt out of reach. Planning tours was no more complex than a mere corner walk.

One mustn't forget the breathtaking view that awaited us on the 20th floor. Bestowed with the finest suite (#6), we found our abode in the clouds. Pristine, vibrant, and brimming with amenities.

The culinary experience was par excellence. A vibrant palette of freshly prepared breakfasts, tailored to our liking, made our mornings. No two days felt alike. I will never find Skyr like this in the States,

If sunshine is your summer holiday dearest companion, you’d be spoilt by the perpetual midnight sun during the summers in Reykjavik. But if you're overwhelmed, they've covered you with simple blackouts.

With its exceptional service and location, this jewel in Reykjavik is a must-stay—a shoutout to the people of Iceland for their warmth. You'd not just fall in love with the Tower Suite, but Reykjavik, for being so pedestrian-friendly. I can't recommend this place highly enough! Five stars all around. It's not just a stay; it's an experience. The hotel's exceptional treatment, grandeur, and sumptuous experience make Tower Suite a true Icelandic treat. I can't wait to be back!

We have just finished an amazing 3 night stay at Tower Suites. We had 2 Apartments, Keilir and Blafjoll. There were 5 of us, including 3 teenagers and we all absolutely loved staying here. The views are Wow!! Everything about Tower Suites is luxury, the interior is just beautiful. Our breakfast was delivered to our rooms at a time of our choice and it was really delicious. There were complimentary Wifi, water, soft drinks & snacks in our room. The team at Tower Suites are so welcoming and helpful. They organised a wonderful birthday cake for my husband and their driver to pick us up and take us back to the Airport (extra charge) which was seamless. It is only a 15-20 minute walk to the centre of Reykjavik. We visited the Sky Lagoon, we went on the Golden Circle & Snowmobiling tour with Mountaineers of Iceland and The Ultimate Northern Lights Tour with Heimir which were all memory making trips and are a must. We have had such a special trip and hopefully will be back one day!

The hotel is about 10 suites located in the top floor of one of the tallest buildings in Reykjavík. With full length windows, you get to see amazing skyline views of the city. Check-in process is easy, for us we got a code since we were arriving around 12am. Parking is free.

The location is little outside of downtown of Reykjavík, about 5 minutes drive or 20 minutes walk. But there are bus stop right next to the hotel.

The room is gorgeous. It’s spacious with a bar like high desk behind the bed. Huge closet to put and hang all the stuff. The bathroom has separate standing shower, and a hot tub. It also has full length window to enjoy the skyline while soaking in the tub.

They provide free breakfast, pretty decent for a free one. It has variety of items like bread, cheese, fruits, cereal, eggs, milk, cucumber and avocado. They confirm breakfast time the day before, and bring it to the room in a trolley.

There’s a common area in the middle of the floor to get drinks, ice, snacks, coffee, water and tea. There couches and high tables to hang out and enjoy the Reykjavík skyline.

Overall we loved the hotel and their service. It was almost self-serve, and we liked that experience.

I am so glad we booked this hotel for our three night stay in Reykjavik. We got in early in the day and Annie (the most wonderful concierge ever) allowed us to check in way ahead of the 3pm check in time. Walking into the beautifully appointed room your eyes go straight to the ceiling to floor windows and the incredible views. No small tiny hotel room here. The room was large and open and beautifully modern. The bathroom too had ceiling to floor windows and the shower was wonderful. There was also a large bathtub that looked very inviting overlooking the city and mountain views.
The daily breakfast, which is delivered to your room, is out of this world. You really couldn't ask for anything more on a breakfast tray.
All the staff was so helpful and friendly. It felt like they really wanted to make your stay perfect. A special shout-out to Annie. Thank you for making our stay so perfect and wonderful. I know we will be back to Tower Suites.

Located on the 20th floor, the view from the Tower Suites gives you a gorgeous scene of Reykjavik and the ocean around it. Unlike most hotels in Reykjavik, the Tower Suites is located just a couple blocks off of the main streets and a beautiful beach front path that you can walk and take in the sights. The amenities are amazing, but more than anything else the STAFF ARE WONDERFUL! They truly go above and beyond to help you make the most of your trip to Iceland and can give advice, book tours, and recommend places to eat. Absolutely loved our stay at the Tower Suites and cannot recommend it enough!
