The Diamond Suites exceed any expectation of luxury that you might have. They have exquisite furnishings, Versace tile floors, the bathrooms are extremely large, the suites are fully automated and you have complete privacy. The Management and Staff are by far the most accomodating and friendly people that I have ever met while traveling. I would recommend the Diamond Suites without hesitation and I will definitely return to Iceland and the Beautiful Diamond Suites.

We stayed in one of the suites on the top floor and the stay was simply perfect. The bed, pillows and linen were one of the most comfortable I have slept in. The suite was very well designed with a tablet on the wall where you could control the music that played in five speakers, another control box controlled the lights and offered you the correct light mood and another control box controlled the showers to give you the correct stream that you wanted.

The service at the hotel was flawless, breakfast excellent and the bar selection was also very good.

We also had dinner in the hotel restaurant where we had a great meal, a great time and excellent service.

This is simply THE place to stay in Keflavík (Reykjanesbær)

I can’t say enough good about our stay. It came at the end of 8 days in a camper and we were very excited to hear that our room had been upgraded to the Sapphire Suite upon our arrival. Our service at the restaurant was incredible and the food was delicious. The breakfast buffet had an incredible selection. We could not have been happier about our stay. We would love to come back the next time we visit Iceland.

Rolled up in the taxi and thought it looked nice. No one there to help with luggage so we rolled it in ourselves. We were sent to the wrong room, and told it had no breakfast included despite having an email stating it had breakfast. It was the Diamond Suites and we were supposed to be in a nice room with use of the shuttle. No such thing was offered so we had to pre book a cab to get to the airport. Room was FAR TOO COMPLICATED. I couldn't figure out the tv despite the instruction manual ( I've never had an instruction manual for a hotel room before) so we gave up. The tub took 10 minutes of pushing buttons to figure out how to turn the water on and take a bath and not get hit in the head with water from the shower. We are both electrical engineers and pretty tech savvy but the hieroglyphics on the controls were impossible to understand. I did manage to get pretty lights on but I wanted a hot bath after a long vacation. Went to dinner and were pretty much ignored as we weren't icelandic people. Food was ok, waitress polite enough. Couldn't use half the USB chargers in the room because they would just charge, stop, and then charge again, over and over in a random cycle. Hung my breakfast placard on the door with our selections by 11pm (said to hang by 3am) but at 7am it was still there. Went down to have breakfast to get told again your room doesn't include breakfast but, yes, here's the email, AGAIN, that says it does. Oh, and partying people outside the room at night meant you had to leave the windows closed so we suffocated until 3am until we could open them to get some air. The light blocking shades (which required yet another remote control to use them) didn't block the Icelandic 24 hour light either. I had to use my eye mask. Apparently Thursday starts the weekend in iceland. Did I mention that even turning lights on in this 'modern' room was a struggle? A simple light switch would have been nice - technology is great, but I feel sorry for anyone who gets this room that isn't at least a bit tech savvy Oh, yeah, there is a bidet in there too - that was at least fairly straight forward. I can say it was clean, so that's why it gets the rating it does.

The details were on point, everything was just perfect! The bed was really soft but also strong. All the electric gear is so nice, especially with the boxes for music, the apple TV. And the light strip in the room, just beautiful.

We had booked a twin room, but when it was not available, the hotel staff automatically upgraded us to the Emerald suite. The larger room was much appreciated and some of the interior upgrades were fun (electric blinds, jetted tub and shower with computerized programs, Sonos music.) About 10 minutes from the airport makes it very handy when it is sadly time to leave Iceland.

This is a great Hotel. The Diamond suites is sitting on top of the hotel and has its own access. Once you enter, you have your own dedicated lobby to hangout with a fire place, 2 hot tubs, your very own private coffee maker in the lobby and in the room. The amenities in the room are state of the art with iPad, apple TV and a nice bath tub and bio-bidet. The people are very friendly. Yes it is pricey but it is worth it. We stayed in the Ruby suite and it was fabulous.

"I had the pleasure of staying in the Diamond Suites, specifically in the Ruby room, and it was truly a memorable experience. From the moment I walked in, I could tell this was going to be a special stay. The room was beautifully designed with elegant touches that made me feel instantly at home, yet utterly luxurious. The highlight was undoubtedly the hot tub, where I spent many relaxing moments soaking in the warmth
The thoughtful touches, like the fresh fruit platter and the exquisite wine from Chile, really elevated the experience. It wasn’t just about comfort; it was about feeling pampered in every possible way. I felt like a queen during my stay, and it was the perfect way to unwind after my travels.
Thank you very much for making my stay so exceptional. The memories I made in that Ruby room will stay with me for a long time. I look forward to returning and reliving this incredible experience."

We received a free upgrade to one of the suites. The suite was very spacious, clean and the beds were very comfortable. The early check-in also worked really well and we were able to move into our room at around 9:00 a.m. to rest after the night flight.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Ordering a taxi through the hotel was no problem - even with the requirement for a child seat and space for luggage.

We were booked in a specific room but were put in a different room on arrival to the hotel. The room in which we were placed had 2 safes that were both non-functioning, the thermostat did not work so it was always cold in the room, the door to the room banged constantly due to the wind outside and the marble floors were ice cold at all times. They don't even provide slippers to wear in the room.
