Detailed Reviews
I had the pleasure of staying here for one night before catching a flight back to London the following morning. I travelled from Fjordur to Keflavik on the bus numbered 55. It stopped about 10 minutes away from the Guest House. I was provided with a key door code a few days before my booking date. My room was small but it gad everything I needed. There was a shared bathroom facility and tea and coffee making facilities in the shared kit hen area. I spent time I the Lounge and it was lovely. I made my reservation directly with the guest house and I was able to grab a free lift from the Owner to the Airport. This accommodation is modern and it represents outstanding value for mk ey. I'd definitely recommend it to travellers.

I stayed at Nupan Deluxe for one night at the end of my trip to Iceland. It is a very traditional guest house with lovely Icelandic decoration.
The owner is extremely helpful and provides a free morning shuttle to the airport.
It is really well equipped with cooking facilities and lovely free tea and coffee. It is spotlessly clean throughout. I would definitely stay again.

+1
I really loved this beautiful spot and it’s one of the reasons to come back to Iceland in future.
Every single detail of the design or furniture or cutlery or linen etc tells you - you are going to stay in a museum with a very special attitude to the guests. A very homey atmosphere is in every corner. It’s like popping in to your friend’s house who really loves decorating their place.
Though we stayed only overnight (arrived at 21.00 and left at 3.30 ), I enjoyed every moment there. I couldn’t make myself go to bed trying to absorb the positive emotions of the accommodation.
All the rest is according to the description of the hotel which you can find on booking.
The taxi to the airport was 3500 isk early morning and took 5min
The only thing I regret is that I didn’t text this review on Booking.com (by mistake I smashed the screen and was unable to come back to the site again). There’s only my top rate 10 on 02.02.2023 which proves I really stayed in Nupan Deluxe.
I definitely recommend this place!
Don’t miss the pearl which will make your visit to Iceland unforgettable

We picked Nupan Deluxe for our first night in Iceland after a late arrival.
It was only a few minutes drive from the airport after picking up our rental car.
Communication beforehand had been excellent, and contactless late check-in was a breeze. We were given a key code for the front door and could then look up our room on the notice board.
The room was very nice and fairly large, and we had a great night's sleep.
Overall a good choice for the first night after a late arrival or the last night before an early flight home.

I really enjoyed the quirky design style of Nupan Deluxe. The room I stayed in was pretty basic, but I was not concerned with that, as I was just staying overnight for an early morning flight. I was very impressed by all the little personal touches in the common areas like the lounge and the hallways - they were really interesting and engaging. I could have spent more time just looking through all of the books and artefacts. I really liked that. The free shuttle to the airport was a real bonus too.

Having a flight out at 6am is never easy. You want to have some sleep yet you don't want to be as close as possible to the airport. Plus what about your rental car as most companies don't open that early. Nupan Deluxe is a very convenient place for all that. We rented our car with LAVA (recommended) which is a 15' walk from Nupan Deluxe (so do the luggage at ND, bring in your car at say 18pm and walk back to ND). ND is located a 5' stroll from the calm keflavik seaside, with restaurants and bars (we ate pizza and salmon at Mamma Mia's). The place has a very personal feeling, quaintly decorated. The rooms are very large, beds are comfortable, everything is perfectly clean). There's a very well organized self check in.
No breakfast but there's a kitchen where you can make some complementary coffee or tea. We slept some good hours before getting up at 3:15 to be brought to the airport, 8' drive away, by the owner.
We paid 25€ for the ride. I think that as of 5am the ride is for free even. This was the best experience we could have with a red eye flight.

I stayed with a couple of friends in the Nupan in May-21 (five nights) and then again in Oct-21 (three nights). This is a delightful, charming, clean, comfortable, warm and homely guesthouse with single, double and triple rooms. The single rooms have shared bathrooms. There are kitchen, dining and sitting areas. Although officially the place doesn't offer any meals there is often enough for breakfasts in the kitchen area. Being centrally located, there is a supermarket, restaurants and cafes nearby. Keflavik airport is close by and transport to it is available. Agatha and Reynir are super hosts....welcoming, friendly and very helpful in providing information on the surrounding areas. This place is definitely going to be my first choice for staying whenever I am in the Reykjaensbaer area again.

Only 5 minutes by taxi from the airport so perfect for an early morning flight. Comfortable single room with shared bathroom. Everywhere spotless and clean. Nice little lounge where you can make drinks, even have a hot tub in the courtyard garden.

It really seems like someone home not just an anonymous hotel Well decorated, full of comfortable area such a lovely living room with lamps and cushions, not just a coffee and tea corner but with biscuits, cookies and nuts for the customers. Sharing bathroom so neat, charming and clean. A hot tub that was a great pleasure at the end of long day and holiday. Perfect kitchen where to have breakfast or cook something with some essential food left for the customers. 5 minites driving for the Airport.

We booked this for an overnight, before an early flight out of Keflavik the next morning. It was perfect for the purpose- great location only a few minutes drive from KEF, and a very short walk into Keflavik town for an evening meal. Inexpensive, clean, and functional. The slightly unusual thing was there were no staff around - everything was dealt with remotely by email and text, even a code for the keypad entry. It was great for an early getaway, with no checkout to cause delays.

They offer coffee and tea without charge, but no breakfast.
Hi GretaMatthews.
Yes, right now we offer complimentary shuttles at 5:20 and 7:20 am. This might changes in the future. We are still working on ways on better our shuttle services. We have a new shuttle company that we are trying out and hopefully in the future we will have more times to offer. All other services can be booked with shuttle.is or by calling 420.1212 from our lobby. Taxi cost 2100 ISK from us.
Taxi was 3000 krona but when I walked around, I couldn't find a bus stop nearby. I'd recommend taxi even though it's expensive. There is a grocery store about 5min down the road (when you exit the hotel and look straight ahead with the water to your left, you will see what looks like a old shop) and you can save some money by buying food instead of going out to eat.
You have to arrange your own shuttle service. I know that they offer airport pickup, but I believe it starts around 7am. It's quite easy to navigate the airport, so it's up to you if you want to wait an hour for a free ride.
The local buses are free, but you would need to look at the bus map to see where they go.
