Nice hotel centrally placed in Copenhagen. You are within walking distance to alle the main attractions. Really nice breakfast, better than the normal Scandic level. Nice room, not much noise from traffic.
We have now stayed at the Scandic Front hotel twice, each time for about 9 nights. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The location is idea. There are so many positive things to say about the hotel, and no negative comments from me. Great room, Clean hotel, tasty breakfast. Plus many other positives. YES, I absolutely would stay at the Scandic Hotel again for my next trip to Copenhagen.
Scandic Front has a great location close to the sea and Nyhavn. Fantastic people working here and you feel welcome all the time. Nice and clean rooms, good breakfast and the bar and restaurang offer good stuff in the evenings.
Nice staff, great breakfast buffet included in room rate when I was there, unusually good for lactose free diet, nice location. Nice location close to Nyhavn and Kongens Nytorv. Very noisy from hallway, had to wear earplugs in the room - only bad thing.
I was placed in a room facing a busy road, and was woken up by sirens and noise throughout the night. Bathroom was highly dysfunctional: shower water was either ice cold or super warm and had no pressure. One lightbulb was flickering. Rooms are seriously run-down and in dire need of refurbishment. On a positive note, breakfast was good. Stay away.
We had booked a superior double. Separate livingroom and nice wievs - but allthough the room was clearly classified as a non-smoking room , the odeur of tobacco smoke was very persistent both in the living room as well as in the bedroom . Even opening all windows didn´t do the trick . Helpful staff at the front desk and in the breakfast restaurant , which also offered a good selection .
Expect a good quality hotel of the chain. The location decided the choice. The problem occurred as soon as we arrived. Indoor air problem in the room. The stuffy and moldy air caused an immediate asthmatic reaction. Ventilation did not help with this. After one night of suffering, there was no other option but to leave the hotel. Our room was superior plus category. Architecturally interesting. But quite impractical. The bathroom is cramped, without counter space.
A great hotel with a fantastic location. Recommends taking a morning walk across the water to the little mermaid, a fantastic morning walk. The rooms are a bit nicer than other Scandic Hotels and if you want to live at a Scandic hotel in Copenhagen I would say that this is one of the better ones. The service at the front desk was great and the breakfast was also better than other Scandic Hotels.
Awesome location, REALLY good breakfast, super friendly staff, great value for your money. This was my first stay, but it’s where I plan on staying every time I visit Copenhagen. I couldnt recommend them more
I got straight off a flight and arrived at 7pm to drop off a bag and go and meet clients. I was told at check in that the only room available had no tv. Which was fine. I met my client and got back at about midnight and no one was at the front desk. When I got into the room I noticed the door to the balcony was open (it wasn’t noticeably earlier) and that it would not shut. Then I went to turn the lights off and they would not turn off. There was a main shut off switch by the door but if that turned off I couldn’t charge any of my devices that all needed charging. I went down to the desk and there was still no one there. It was a split room and ended up having to take all the light bulbs out in the mezzanine bit with the bed and leave the ceiling lights on downstairs. When I went to reception the next morning and they said there was nothing they could do. That I should have said something last night. When I said there was no one at the desk they told me that there was!! Terrible room and service for the price paid.…
