The room was clean and okay. If you are a bar outgoing person, then its fine because theres a bar across the street and it gets loud at night. The city wasnt that pretty though, unless this is for Mystras, i wouldnt really come here
A 3-star hotel with many shortcomings such as: the room is too small, being in the center is a galley until late at night, free but poor internet ... so to speak ... you hardly have to go back ... the elevator is a very small disaster ... not recommended for groups, small breakfast room ... which is satisfactory, better the owner did not rent the space above the breakfast room and had more space ... parking hardly if you park on the street ... odor of morning food throughout the hotel ... even in the rooms ... probably crowded ... led to the lack of pipes for ventilation ... I do not recommend staying more than one night ...
Part of our tour in the Peloponnese took us to Sparta to visit Mystras. The hotel is centrally located, is clean and comfortable, and was perfect for our stay. There are plenty of restaurants in the area - try a Souvlaki Gyros, helped down with local beer.
The hotel is very close to the central square of Sparti,it is very clean with very good breakfast and nice rooms with panoramic view of the city. All staff is polite and helpful. It is highly recomended.
Our stay in Sparta was a last minute decision - we'd passed through it on the way to Monemvasia and once we saw the magnificent Teygetus mountains we decided to come back. We only had one night but 2 days here but it was fantastic. The hotel is centrally located and we had the opportunity to see quite a bit including Ancient Sparta, the statue of Leonidio, the Olive Museum, the ancient ruins within the city such as the baths and triconch church, the cathedral, wandering the interesting streets and just generally soaking up the atmosphere. We were also given instructions on how to visit Mystras which is an absolute must! If getting a taxi, get them to take you to the top and then allow 2 hours to walk down. Magnificent! When we arrived at the hotel we were given a map with the key points of interest to visit and this was an absolute Godsend. The room was modern and comfortable with a balcony overlooking the main street. Breakfast was fantastic with a good choice of breakfast options. The staff were fantastic - very friendly and helpful and I'd definitely recommend the Laconia Hotel.…
After a difficult journey, we received a lovely welcome from the reception staff, who checked us into our 4th floor room quickly and efficiently. There was a small lift up to our level, our room was at the front of the building and had a nice view across town. The receptionist told us where to park for free, about all the local attractions and where we could get a traditional meal nearby. The bed was comfortable and the buffet breakfast excellent - there was a plentiful range of both local & cooked foods to choose from - before we left to explore nearby Mystras.
Super clean room and clean towels every. Friendly and profesjonell people in the reception and at the breakfast. Best breakfast we have had in Greece for a long time. Stay for one week and never regret our choise.
This hotel is in a perfect location just a few minutes walk from the main square of Sparta and offers a variety of options at breakfast. Parking was limited to street parking. The woman at the front desk was so welcoming and made our stay enjoyable. I would say that the hotel felt a little tired, could use an update but it is a great option for the price.
Whoever complains about Lakonia hotel must be a lunatic fringe. Allowing for the bargain price, its central location, front balcony view (for light sleepers not recommendable) and a delicious breakfast, my rating for Lakonia is 4 out of 5. My compliments and keep up the good work.
Very good location for this small hotel. Parking was limited although we found parking outside. It's a little dated and the rooms quite small - we had a triple room. However, overall we had one night stay and were comfortable.
