We stayed in Villa Elia for 7 nights. Our room was in the Alselia wing and was a fully renovated room on the first floor. The bed was soft and comfortable. The air conditioning was very efficient and the room was cool in a few minutes even after a very hot day. The room was spacious, there was a sofa bed as well, which is useful if there is a third person in the room. The balcony overlooking the garden is spacious and has a hanger which is useful to dry swimsuits and towels from the beach. There is a parking space for all guests in the shade next to the Alselia building which is very convenient both during the day and when you return in the evening. The hotel consists of 3 wings, and Alselia is the most remote one from the two swimming pools and restaurant, however, it's also the quietest one. The property is very nice, very well taken care of, the staff is friendly and they take good care of everything. Breakfast and snacks were of good quality. The streets that lead to the hotel are quite narrow, we preferred to use the street that comes from Fryni, which was a bit wider. The beach near the hotel, Ag. Ioannis is full of kitesurfing enthusiasts because it is always windy. So, it's not the best for swimming. We preferred the Kastro-Gyra beach, near the floating bridge, as it is a sandy beach, with easy access, less windy, and with easy parking. But, you need a car to get there. Generally, a car is a must to explore Lefkada.

We stayed at Villa Elia for one week in August 2022.
It is a lovely, quiet place with a large, well maintained garden/park, swimming pool, tennis court and it is only under 10 min walk from the nearest beach. Our suite was in a separate little house, with private outdoor sitting space, surrounded by banana trees and flowers.
Everything was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, plenty of options, from fresh fruit to eggs and muffins.
The staff at Villa Elia were very welcoming, helpful, professional and someone was always at the reception making sure everything is alright.
A lot of planning and care has been taken of every detail- from various options to regulate the lights in the apartment, to super clean swimming pool and lovely flowers arrangement around the garden. It is very easy to find Villa Elia as it is clearly signposted from numerous directions. I strongly recommend Villa Elia and would happily stay there again.

The villas are beautiful, we have just returned from a 2 week stay and have to say, the villas, and surroundings are immaculate. The staff are so helpful and polite and will offer advice about the island and places to visit. The beach is a 10 minute walk and the nearest supermarket about 20 mins walk. There are a couple of places to eat along the beach front. If you are staying for any length of time, then transport is a must, we were unable to hire a car as the island was so busy however opted for a moped which was brilliant and actually made our holiday. We travelled all around the island and hired a boat for the day in Nidri which was fabulous. A taxi into Lefkada is 10euros each way or a 2 mile walk each way which is why we decided on the moped at 25 euros a day and we certainly got our moneys worth.

The villas have two pools with plenty of sun beds and are immaculate. The breakfast we had each day was lovely and set us up for the day with choices of pastries, breads, fruit, and hot food.
This was a wonderful place to stay, a little out of the way if you want to explore hence I would definitely recommend hiring a car or moped.

We booked a "Studio with garden view" for 6 nights end of August in Alselia wing for an average price of 200eur/night, breakfast included.
I will say from the beginning that it was the worst value for money so far, paid not only for a 4* accommodation but from all the places that we stayed. We paid far less money for 4* accommodation and much, much better conditions.
The first thing that hit me was the mold found on the tray under the freezer, rusty shelves in the refrigerator and it was obvious that the fridge wasn't cleaned before. In fact, the fridge and the furniture were old, had scratch marks and creaked.
It is true that the room had a filter machine, but without filter. If you want to use it you need to come with filter paper.
The room is not soundproof, you can hear children crying/screeming/playing. Definitely, from my point of view, it's not an ideal place for the honeymooners (or maybe it is, as you could have second thoughts having children) . People were coming and leaving during the night or early in the morning and you could hear everything.
The breakfast was average, food was good but nothing extraordinary; for example, the orange juice wasn't freshly squized but poured from boxes, the coffee was ordinary. The food was the same every day, but enough to eat something else every day: eggs all kind (boiled, fried, omelet, scrambled), 3-4 kinds of cheese, vegetables, yogurt, pancakes and different sweets, fresh fruits, tea, milk.
A tip for the area: if you want to buy a bottle of watter, the closest shop is approximate 1km away or you can buy it from local terraces/taverns/restaurants.
A plus for the people at the reception, as we received good recommendations for places to eat in the area and things to do.
Another plus for the pool and the recreation areas (for example the tennis courts: we didn't use them but we saw the people playing, even late in the night), the garden looks very nice, well maintained.
A nice touch was the name of the location embroaded on the towels and sleeping pillows.
Overall, we wanted to have a restful and relaxing vacation and this didn't happen.
The most important thing for the people who are delivering services should be the client satisfaction, and this should be valid even more in the horeca sector. The owners should be aware that sometimes the customers make big efforts to have a vacation and to pay this amount of money (200eur/night it's not so cheap) and for what? For mold, rust, scratched and creaky furniture?

The resort Vila Elia is a really beautiful place and very well designed. It was a pleasure to spend a few days there next two the 2 pools with the bar (we were mostly spending our days on sight-seeing and trips around the island).

The Room was very clean (service is done every day) and it felt quite fresh.
Resort has its own restaurant and it was actually quite good (we recommend musaka and Greek salad)
The management and staff in the resort was very nice group of friendly and helpful people which made our stay there very enjoable and comfortable. The owner gave as some very valuable recommendations.

Great and convenient location - nearby Lefkada city is full of nice and traditional restaurants and great to spend evenings (we loved La Vinaria). If you plan to rent a car, you can drive anywhere around the island up to 1h so you dont need to stick to a concrete place.

To sum up, great place with great people!
Thank you!
Tomas & Sofia

We stayed for 3 nights and truly enjoyed our stay at Villa Elia. The staff upon arrival were extremely welcoming and helpful. We were given our very own parking spot and stayed in room 31. Our first impression of the room (studio) was how cute it was! Had a lovely balcony, main room with a tv and the most comfortable sleep we have had in a long time! Fully equipped kitchen and bathroom.
The villa consisted of 2 swimming pools that reminded us of the resorts they have in the Caribbean. There is a restaurant with food and drinks by the main pool. The best coffee for sure! Only ate lunch once at the villa but was excellent. The location of the villa was perfect for us as it was close to the kentro that had all the shops and many restaurants to choose from however we recommend to have your dinners at the local taverna called Kakos Likos which was phenomenal and offered true greek cuisine! We recommend renting a car to drive around the beautiful island to visit its many beaches… we chose Kathisma Beach and Porto Katsiki. Both very beautiful beaches! Porto Katsiki was about an hour’s drive with some beautiful views of the island as you drive through the mountains and crystal clear waters! Kathisma beach was closer (20 mins) with a much bigger beachfront and offered beach side service, somewhat sandy beach and plenty of beds. We will definitely be returning to Villa Elia and looking for to it!

A really lovely hotel. The staff is helpful and forthcoming; facilitates are good and well maintained. There is a nice beach nearby. Although the hotel is some 1-2 km from the main roads, the signposts are well placed and it is easy to find .

We have been here for the third time. It is really amazing place. Very comfortable suites for families. Generally very good facilities and perfect location, two swimming pools with the bar serving drinks and local cuisine specialties, only 5 minutes to the beach, windsurfing and kitesurfing spots (almost every-day thermal wind guarantee!) The apartments are very clean, everything looks new. Last but not least - extremely friendly owner and the whole staff, very friendly to our disabled son. We recommend this place and will be back for sure.

We loved Villa Elia. The grounds are beautiful, the room one of the nicest we have stayed in in Greece. The staff at the hotel are fabulous, helpful and kind. One night, we got back late from Lefkada town and the key card wouldn’t work as the magnet had become dislodged. I called reception and within three minutes, someone was up to our room and the card was quickly replaced.

The hotel is a 5-10 min walk to the beach where there are a few good tavernas. You can also get a taxi into Lefkada town for 10 euros where there are hundreds of tavernas and bars. The nearest shop is around 15 mins walk away which we did once and it was a very hot walk! Reception will sort a taxi out for you though if you aren’t up for the walk.

The pools are gorgeous, sun beds never fully used and the bar staff are great. There’s also tennis courts where you can book a 1 hour lesson with a tennis pro for 30 euros if that’s your thing.

All-in-all, we loved Lefkada and Villa Elia and would love to return. Unless you want to be in a loud, busy resort, you won’t be disappointed.
