ANASTASIA INFORMATION In Manganas of Niciana, in Lefkada island, at the foot of mountain Skaros, in a lush green environment with an excellent view to the Ionian Sea is situated Anastasia Village. It is a complex of 4 built stone buildings, each of them consist 2 studios and 1 maisonette apartment. All studios and apartments are equipped with kitchenette, telephone air-condition and wireless internet. In the complex there is a big swimming pool, a children’s swimming pool and a Pool Bar, which serves small meals. Anastasia village lies 2klm from Nidri and 15klm from Lefkada town.Nidri, the closest town lies in a 2klm distance. It has everything that could cover the needs of the visitors. There are a variety of restaurants, supermarkets, gift shops and pharmacy. From the port there are daily cruises to Ithaca and Cephalonia, as well as to the lots of the beautiful small islands around Nidri. Anastasia Village – Studios and Apartments lies in very beautiful and quiet landscape out of the down town. In front there is the deep blue Ionian Sea and around the lush green of the rich vegetation of the mountain Skaros. In a distance of 1klm there is the beach of Pasa, the local’s favorite beach with crystal clean water.

I plan to visit this hotel in August last year and manager from Anastasia Village pushing me to arrange a deposit to my reservation I did a transfer for 30%. After a two weeks my mother passed away from COVID-19 and we decided to cancel my reservation from booking before final date of cancellation. Until today we do not receive our deposit with no explanation from Anastasia village. Thank you for booking support that they try to help me but obviously management of this place are very busy. Please to be very careful! These people are not deserving humanity!

Nu faceti greșeala de a va caza la ei!!!!! Pt 20, 30 de euro in plus la o pensiune din statiune, ve-ti regreta. Peisajul si pensiunea sunt ok, insa vila este in vf muntelui departe de Nidri(stațiunea) si fara masina sunteti morti. Cel de la cazare se va oferii sa va duca in Nidri contra 5 euro per drum. Deci daca veti face 4 drumuri-20euro. Gazda se poarta foarte urat tot timpul fara motiv. Daca nu credeti o sa va convingeti. Un exemplu: in ultima zi eram la șoseaua principala la 40 de grade si i-am facut semn sa ne ia pana in statiune si nici nu a avut bunul simt sa opreasca masina desi ne vazuse. Sunt MULTE de spus negativ!!!! Repet :Nu mergeti la ei! In cazul in care doriti sa incercati va veti convinge pe propria piele! Don't make the mistake of staying with them !!!!! For 20, 30 euros extra at a pension in the resort, you will regret. The scenery and the pension are ok, but the villa is in the top of the mountain far from Nidri (the resort) and without a car you are dead. The one from the accommodation will offer to take you to Nidri for 5 euros per road. So if you do 4 roads-20euro. The host is very obnoxius all the time for no reason and has a bad behavior every single day!!! If you don't believe you will convince yourself. An example: on the last day we were on the main road at 40 degrees and I signaled him to take us to the resort and he didn't have the good sense to stop the car even though he had seen us. There are MUCH to say negative !!!! I repeat: Don't go to them! If you want to try you will convince on your own skin!…

😁 The view is magnific. The pool is nice. 😐 Rooms would be ok, with nice terrasse, but bathroomsare in a bad shape. They charge extra 5 euros/day for air condioning. ☹ It is located on the top of the hill, 1 km from the main road. Closest shop & restaurant at 2 km. Without a car you can't survive. There is one guy, Panos, which is very ki nd and speaks English. The rest of the personnel is unabordable. 😣 Attention to vesps! If you try to eat on the terasse they show up and are very nasty - one of them bit me and couldn't walk for 2 days. Ideal place for masochists.

Pro's: - Beautiful view- located on top of a hill, provides with a beautiful view to the sea - Nice pool- clean Con's: - Located in the middle of nowhere-literally- difficult road-hard to get to the mansion - Far from Nidri or Lefkada- you need to ride about 2 km from the mansion to the main road and after ~ 4 km to Nidri - Pregnant smell of mold in the room-we couldn't use the wardrobe because of that smell - Shower door broken Overall impression: - Will not return- beautiful view, but it's not worth it.

Not a good holyday.The rooms are full of mold ,the smell was horible.My Child could not sleep becouse of sneasing becouse of that smell.Practicaly the area is very nice,but the condition is not so good.The swiming area was dirty and nobady care to clean.The crew stays all day at the swiming area and nobady clean rooms.Will return to Lefkada for sure but to Anastasia will never return !

Location is very nice from outside but horibile services and very dirty rooms (i found latter that only Romanias are hosted in this room's).Snakes,croaches and very big buugs....nobady clean my rooms for 7 days,the watter from pool was infestated with pop from birds and the same thing,nkbady cares.Will detail latter since i am on telephone now.

Good points: - very nice view, all rooms with balcony and see view - big rooms with kitchen Bad points: - located in the middle of nowhere, on a hill, distance to the beach 1km, distance to Nidry 4 km - shower door broken - very intense smell of mold in the wardrobe - very bad matress (i woke up every day with pain) - there is no reception, if you have a problem you have to find someone from the staff and a part of the personnel doesn't speak english at all - in some days there was no hot water, we had to go and speek to the personnel so that they would turn it on - they never changed our towels - in some days they never entered the room to change our garbage bin, we had to take it out ourselves. We even ran out of toilet paper.

We spend 6 nights in Anastasia... The only positive to mention is the view, big rooms, ok pool and a young guy trying his best to offer some service. The rest was horrible. Bad or no cleaning that we had to ask for every day. No towel change. Big sign with food served at the bar - but nothing was available. The worst was the owners. Sitting at the pool all day long - lazy and doing nothing, except to stare at us when we where in the pool or on our terrasse. Freaky! Payment only possible in cash at check out. We are NOT coming back.

Location: Pro: amazing view, high on the hill so you can see all the region. Best place to see sun rise. Cons: kind of far from beach (aprox. 1 KM) and too far from Nidri (aprox 4KM). Recomandation: Rent an car/scouter - aprox 35-50 EURO/day. The facilities:Pro: nice looking small villas with 3-4 apartments with balcony and full kitchen and very nice pool. Bar on the pool and possibility to eat (food very tasty). Cons: cleaning only once a week, missing soap, shower gel. The personal: Dimitri - very good cook and good drinks maker but hard to reach because he is managing two locations. That means that you eat when he can cook and not when you want... Panaiotis - an young guy that practically is doing all the work in this villas complex! One of the most hard working guy I ever seen. He was doing everything from bar to room cleaning to..all. There wore two other girls that I don't know what was their role but I've never seen other that lazy and not interested at all for customers well being. They wore just staying there all day and looking at Panaiotis how is he doing all the hard work. Price: usual cost for accommodation and normal price for the drinks and food. We stayed at Anastasia Village last summer and i can say is that it was a very nice stay. We had a magnificent view from the room. everything was clean. The owner, Dimitri, looks like a tough guy at first sight, but, if you get to know him you will see that he would do everything for your comfort. Try his food, he`s a great cook !!! You need transportation to the city because it`s a bit far from Nidri, aprox. 3-4 km. We rented cars (35 E/day) or scooters(12 E/day). The host can take you to Nidri and back for 5 Euro (both trips)
