We had booked a few nights in Anemolithi. We ended up spending only one night to then move to Chora, where we found a better accomodation for less than 50% of Anemolithi. The view from location is stunning (like elsewhere on the island). The place look almost abandoned, the restaurant did not work, room not well kept, gardens left careless, and it very noisy at night because of the strong wind. Also since the resto on the spot does not work you would need to drive every evening to Chora, or elsewhere, to get food. We never got to see the "manager" who was available only via email....The quality of the accommodation and the overall package is definitely overpriced (110 euro) for an island where you can get a nice room for much less. Not recommended.

We stay for 8 nights on August 2014. The hotel is located at Kato Meria, at the top of a mountain with an amazing view. The location is perfect. 10 klm. from the Xora and 5 minutes from Mouro, the best beach-rock waters on the island. Kato Meria is like the Greece of 1950 and I like it better from north side Aigiali. The studios are huge nice decorated with nice view large veranda and privacy. The staff is very friendly and mr. Kostas an amazing person always with a smile, try for the best. 2 things are the negative ones, the 1st is that is always very windy. Because is located at the top of the hill. Meaning that room is always cool but you can hear the noise of the wind.... Balcony is 100% protected so you will not have any problem, but the sound of the wind some times can be really annoying. And the second is that service some time can be a bit slow due to lack of personnel. Everything had to be done from mr. Kostas so things are going slow. Of course when he bring you the perfect breakfast with local products including in the price and served you with his unique smile.... you forget the small delay....!!!…

If someone doesn t care about the distance from Chora and the rest crouded places and looks for a quiet and great view stay then this is it! The rooms have great interior design while the the private and big sea view verandas are amazing! At night you can see the falling stars since no light exists... The restaurant place has a really good environment and overall you can easily tell that this hotel was well designed using high quality materials. Something to have in mind is the wind because the hotel is on the mountain and it is exposed to the wind and it is difficult move around that area especially on a motor bike. The personnel is friendly and they are really trying to make u feel nice. They could enrich their breakfast bouffet with bigger variety and home made food ( and not packaged / cheap croissants..:( ) . Regarding value for money its indeed an expensive choice but when you are there you find good reasons to understand why... Enjoy Anemolithi and wonderful big blue!…

A very good and special place to stay. It mostly seems like friends are accomodating you, rather than cold touristic professionals that only care about getting some more euros this summer. The view is amazing. Breakfast very good. Restaurant really excellent! I think the best in the whole Amorgos island. Studios comfortable and clean with very special details. The only black spot in the studios. Due to the location that is up to the mountain and with much humidity rooms have this smell that isn't very pleasant. But all the rest is great! We'll sure get back!!

A superb positioned boutique hotel with a unique view of deep blue sea. Among the best we have stayed in Cyclades islands. Superior hospitality from Nicolas and Rania with tailor made service and nice breakfast. If you want to relax seeing the nicest sea view, even from your bed , this is the place to be..
