The hotel is really nice. It is located on the slope, and hotel design reflects it in an amazing way with a set of villas overlooking the sea or a garden. Thanks to it the hotel doesn't look like some hotel monster and provides quite a high level of privacy. Beach is rather small, but there are two options: to swim in calm water in the artificial bay or right in the sea, where you can go down with swimming pool style stairs. In the mid of October it was quite windy, but thanks to the water temperature (+23 - +24) one could swim. There are activities arranged by a hotel, but to some of them it was tricky to sign in. There is a tennis court with astro turf, it was almost always availiable. Food is good, though unfortunately there was no lamb. Drinks are a bit expensive, but with quite a good price for the hotel itself it's ok. Most staff are really friendly and helpful, especially Hardimos at the reception. Overall I really enjoyed the trip.

We just got back from our week at Elounda Village. We had booked a sea-view bungalow, and were very happy with the location of our bungalow on site (number 560). Didn’t get the advertised fruit/nougat basket in our room (assume Covid) but we had wine and bath robes which were very welcome! Glass of fizz at arrival too which was a nice touch. Decided against the spa as found prices a little steep (the pool, sauna etc were unavailable- again assuming Covid), but took a trip to Spinalonga (great tour guide!) and also went snorkelling at Olous sunken city. Both reasonable in price. Can’t recommend Mirabello restaurant enough- we ate lunch there 3 times and also booked for Lobster Night (set menu- lots of food). Great food and lovely wait staff. My fiancé loved the seafood pasta! Good choice of cocktails in the bars, perhaps too much choice of wine! Culinarium and Fire Pit restaurants weren’t open (Covid? Or end of season?) so can’t comment on them, but we had a choice of the buffet, Mirabello or Beach Bar. Buffet is quite expensive for lunch if you’re on half board so we only used it for breakfast and some dinners. Outside the hotel, Elounda is about half an hour walk away. We visited 3 restaurants (Megaro, Kalidon, Vritomartes) and a couple of bars by the port and would recommend all. Taxis are easily found near the port if you’d rather avoid the walk back. We found the weather at the beginning of October warm but quite windy. Best sun until early afternoon is down on the decking near the beach, and then was blocked by the cliffs, so perhaps the top pool is better for sun a little later. I rated 4 out of 5 as we would have liked to sample the other restaurants but were unable.

Great service, excellent and well co-ordinated staff service and very clean rooms. My wife and I are strong coffee lovers and to have a Nespresso coffee meching with constant supply of coffee capsols and well stocked mini bar. Since it was our Minimoon as stated by my wife, Our room over-looked the sea to the right and hills to the left. The weather was great.

We stayed for a week at the end of August and our stay was very enjoyable and relaxing. Champagne on arrival was a nice touch, and the level of service from all staff remained high throughout the duration of our stay. We stayed on a HB basis to allow us the flexibility to travel into Elounda and the surrounds for lunch. The variety of the food was impressive, and the quality of the cooking was exceptional. The Covid protocols in the buffet were easy to follow and not intrusive. The hotel itself is lovely, with a nice choice of rooms with sea views. The layout takes some getting used to but helpful staff were always on hand. We were concerned by some of the reviews on here before we traveled but we didn’t experience any of the issues they described. Travelling during a pandemic does mean there are some unavoidable compromises or restrictions but it’s a small pay off for keeping everyone safe. This is a hotel that I would definitely recommend and will likely visit again in the future.

Just back from a two week stay at TUI Blue Elounda Village Hotel. We’d been there a few times before so we knew what to expect. As always, the friendliness and service offered by the staff in all areas was as good as ever. And the food, cleanliness and overall appearance of the hotel were still up to the same high standard. However, some things had changed since we were last there, which was disappointing and took way some of the enjoyment of our holiday. The Culinarium Restaurant was closed, We were on an all-inclusive basis, which meant that instead of 3 restaurants to choose from, we had only two – the Mirabello and the main buffet restaurant. Problem was that, when we tried to book into the Mirabello for dinner on the Wed when we arrived it was fully booked until Sunday! So for 4 days, we were limited to eating at the dinner buffet – which was basically the same as being on a half-board basis. The other disappointing change was that the Beach Bar closed at 6pm! We used to go there either before or after dinner for a drink and to sit looking at the ocean, or enjoy the live music they had on some evenings. Not this time - the bar closed at 6pm and the staff came around about 550pm to offer customers who we still in the bar plastic take-away cups to pour their drinks into. Hardly 5 Star service.

Dear valued guest, I am pleased to read your positive feedback following your recent stay with us at Tui Blue Elounda Village Resort & Spa by Aquila. We are delighted to hear that there were clearly so many aspects of our hotel which you enjoyed and that overall you had a pleasant stay. As a valued guest, we appreciate both your constructive and positive feedback. It only when we receive such information that we are able to look at ways in which we can enhance our valued guests stay with us. I can appreciate that you found the restaurant options limited and can only apologise for this, it is only temporary and we hope to be operating normally again soon but with the current COVID crisis that is proving to be quite difficult at the moment. Thank you once again for taking the time to provide us with your valuable feedback and we look forward to welcoming you back in the very near future. Kindest Regards, Michalis Volyrakis General Manager
