We intended to stay here for 3 nights but wound up staying 5 due to trouble with our flights. It is a 5 minutes walk from Oriente train station which is 3 stops from the airport on the red metro line. It is about 2 blocks up from the waterfront which is lined with restaurants. The rooms we had were clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was okay, no hot items but enough to set you up for the day. There was a little out door patio which was nice to have a beer on in the evening. The only reason we are not giving it a 5 bubble is because of the way we were treated the first time we checked in. We had been traveling and we were very tired. We asked if we could have a cup of tea before going to the room. The desk clerk said yes, go ahead as she pointed to the breakfast area. I went to get the tea and the breakfast attendant started demanding I pay for the tea. When I told him that his colleague had authorized us to have a cup of tea because we had just checked in for 3 days he immediately got on the phone. When he hung up he told me I still had to pay. My wife and I and the breakfast attendant went back to the front desk to confirm she had told us we could have a cup of tea only to be laughed at and told we still had to pay. Did she really think we were asking for permission to buy a cup of tea? This was not a miscommunication. She apparently wasn't supposed to offer us a cup of tea and when the breakfast attendant called her on it she made out like she didn't say it. Upon checking out of the hotel we we're blessed to have her check us out. We handed her a box of tea and told her the next time some weary travelers asked for some tea she could give them some on us. The rest of the staff were friendly and professional so as long as you don't get her as a desk clerk you should have a good experience

Dear TACOB0B I read very carefully the details of your evaluation after your stay with us, and thank you for this comprehensive feedback. I am sorry for this incident with the receptionist that I cannot come across from your comment to identify, it is really a shame because it is on the contrary of the attitude requested and the image that I pass daily with all our collaborators …… If I can ask you to indicate me towards my e-mail box sylvie.lopes@accor.com or your date of stay or reservation code or full name because it is for me important to identify who may have made this error. However, I hope to have the pleasure of knowing you personally during a next stay here in Lisbon. Sylvie Lopes

This is a wise and practical choice for those willing to spend a night or two in Lisbon only: three stations away from the airport (just top the Viva Lisboa card with 3,50 up), less than 5min on foot from Oriente station and one and a half block away from Vasco da Gama mall!
Reception is kind and friendly, the hotel follows the Ibis standards all over the world, so no complain is accepted from those who don't know the brand. It could, however, cost a little less!
Having stayed in this unit some years ago, it's time to change or update the furniture, giving some clear signs of tiredness!
Breakfast is basic but you won't miss anything for the first meal of the day, which can be extended to 12h on weekends!
Eating options other than breakfast in the hotel are limited and much more expensive than in the mall nearby, so the short walk makes you save some euros and get more on the plate!
Parking costs 12 euros and pets are welcome at a cost.
As I said, it is most convenient for an overnight in Lisbon or to revisit the city from a different perspective.

Dear vitorbabrazil, I am very grateful for the time you spent in these and so detailed comments, an important moment for us to have feedback after each stay of our customers, but also for those looking for accommodation in the Parque das Nações area, to be able to identify our unit - Ibis Lisboa Parque das Nações. In reading your precious comments, I identify that you are already a good connoisseur of the Ibis brand. We are already renovating some floors, we created the PREMIUM floor on the 7th floor (with an espresso machine for example) in the previous year and we are renovating the remaining floors, I confess that, with a slower pace due to all the circumstances of this year . However, we hope to have the pleasure of your visit again and that you may come to enjoy the newly renovated. Best regards Sylvie Lopes Manager

Nice and cozy hotel in Parque das Nações very friendly staff especially I'd like to point out Miguel who helped me out with any problem I had and was very nice and courteous and advised me where to go and how to get there.
The hotel is located close to the central station of 'Oriente', 3 Metro stops from the Airport so it's very easy to reach the hotel. Also nearby you can find the 'Vasco de Gama Shopping Center" where you can find restaurants movie theaters and lots of shopping. The hotel is close to the sea front where you have many restaurants and bars, also in walking distance from the hotel you can find the 'Lisboa Aquarium'.
The rooms were basic and practical with comfortable bed and good A/C and small window with a view, The room has a nice and clean bathroom with strong shower head which is nice. On my day of arrival the TV cables didn't work and when I came back after dinner to my hotel I called Miguel to check it out and he couldn't fix it, but offered me to move a room I said thanks and refused as I was too tired to pack again and move however the next day the cables were fixed.
One advice to hotel cleaning personnel to check daily whether soap/shampoo is needing replenishing when cleaning the rooms, cause my soap ran out and I had to call reception to bring me soap. So this should be checked regularly.
Besides that the hotel was great the breakfast was decent and good.
I recommend people to visit the hotel as it's a good one with great service.

We stayed one night after arriving late at the airport and to catch the train the next day to Faro. This IBIS was convenient for both, being a short taxi ride from the airport and a relatively short walk to the station, Oriente. The room was fine – a typical IBIS one. The breakfast was OK as well and the staff were friendly. We would certainly stay there again for a night. It was not particularly good value for a basic room.

Nice place to stay for a reasonable price, nice typical Ibis experience. The location is good - walking distance from train/metro station as well as the shopping mall. The area has few attractions around. The hotel had a garage, so no headache parking when you have a rental car (weekends you can park in surrounding streets for free).
Breakfast were basic but sufficient. Was not quite happy by absence of a safe lock in the room...

Hotel is located very near to the venue for our conference. Heating was not provided even though it was December when we were there. The room was clean but really small; and we got their purportedly largest room. It is just a business hotel with no character whatsoever but we should not complain because we picked it for location. Other people complained about their breakfast but we found that pretty decent. I have had far worse for the price we paid. Staff not overly friendly but neither were they rude; I would not say terribly helpful either.
What did not help is that we got ripped off by taxi drivers from Lisbon Airport to the place - 2 of us did on separate trips. Front desk staff that day tried to help, to be fair but he was a tad intimidated in case of reprisals by the taxi driver.
Unlikely we will stay there again unless we have no choice.

We have read your precious comments and I can say that yes, we do everything to improve our service and the quality of our service at all times. The IBIS brand is indeed a chain of business hotels, not very long stays as we all know the size of a practical room. Until a next opportunity.

Hotel and room are very compact and comfy. My room (#102) was clean and hygienic. Hotel is very near to the airport, so I didn't have to hurry on the day of my departure. Biggest mall, Vasco Da Gama is just 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel, and it was a very pleasant walk. One can also visit riverside and cable car from hotel within 10-minute walking distance. TelePizza, one of the local pizza chains is 2-minute walking distance. If you are travelling with kids, there is a MARVEL WALL with Murrels and wall paintings of Marvel cinematic universe. Breakfast was ok with limited variety every day. They could change the menu a bit, I believe. Pricing was perfect to my budget.
The two things I would suggest would be: One, TV should have been connected to internet with at least YOUTUBE running as on the last day of my stay, it was raining, and I was in my room for almost half day. Second, the staff was helpful and courteous but without any smile on their faces. They should smile much more :-)

Having stayed a few nights at this hotel in September 23, I chose this hotel for an overnight on return in November 23.
The beds in this hotel are amazing. The most comfortable hotel beds ever. I definitely want one of these beds for myself.
The hotel is a few minutes walk from Lisbon Oriente train station and about 8 mins in a taxi to the airport. (€8-€10).
The rooms are modern and very clean.
There is a Resturant and bar.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay there on future trips to Lisbon.

The Hotel has a great location. It is walking distance from the Metro Station and to the Centro Vasco da Gama Mall were you can find many shops and restaurants. You are also walking distance to Parque das Nacoes, Parque do Tejo that walks right next to Rio Tejo. The hotel room was very clean and comfortable, bed and pillows were excellent, bathroom great as well. I was surprised that I didn't hear any noise. Had daily room service. Breakfast was delicious. Staff friendly and very nice. I definitely would stay in this hotel again

I spent a week at this hotel in June, split into two stays. The hotel is clean and cozy, with helpful staff and a varied breakfast buffet. The rooms are small and simple, with basic amenities, but no water bottles, kettles, cups, or glasses were provided. Also, there were no slippers or robes in the bathroom. The hotel offered free Wi-Fi, which was fast and stable throughout my stay.
