We booked Pestana Rua Augusta Lisboa when it first opened and they had a special opening offer on. I was a little sceptical at first about booking as I couldn't see any reviews for the hotel because it was completely new. Well there was no need to worry, as this hotel exceeded all of our expectations! Read on to find out more....
We stayed here for three nights and had a fantastic stay. The hotel is brand new, and completed to a very high standard, with a beautiful bar on entrance and gorgeous sound-proofed modern and spacious rooms.
The bedrooms were lovely, with a comfortable bed, luggage storage space, Nespresso machine and ample space to relax, including a small balcony. The bathroom was gorgeous with rainfall shower.
Breakfast was included every day and this consisted of a wide selection of delicious hot and cold foods, fruit, cereals, sweet treats, juices, coffees and even a bottle of champagne for making mimosas! We also used the bar during our stay and it's a lovely place to relax and have a drink.
The location was fantastic - right next door to the Arco da Rua Augusta and the Praça do Comércio, with great transport links and walking distance for exploring the rest of the city. Despite being in the centre of everything, the rooms were soundproofed and you couldn't hear anything from outside.
The staff at Pestana Rua Augusta Lisboa couldn't be more helpful, friendly and attentive. Check in was a breeze and were always on hand to answer any question we had during our stay.
We would definitely stay here again if in Lisbon. 10/10 recommend!

This is a brand new hotel with the best location you can find to explore Lisbon by foot or public transportation. It’s also a walking distance to most restaurants of chiado and very convenient to go out to dinner. I’ve seen some comments about noise but we’ve seen concerts, street musicians and even a protest in the square nearby and everything ended early in the evening. The windows are sound proof as well so noise is not a problem. Our window faced the arch and it was lovely. Very spacious suite with and adjacent room with a sofa that turns into a comfortable bed and a second tv. Our teenage son loved his room. Breakfast is one of the best we had with luxuries such as smoked salmon and mimosas. Really recommend!!!

We checked in at the Pestana for 3 nights before heading to Porto. It's very new, you could smell it from the lobby and the room itself. We were welcomed with pastel de nata and a bottle of ginja at our room. We enjoyed the food selection at the breakfast buffet so much... within the property are restaurants that the front desk lady has suggested to try. It's also within the Arco da Rua Augusta with street performers at night and near the metro stations/tram line. We will definitely book again at the Pestana for our next trip in Lisbon!

This new hotel was wonderful! We were here for the lighting of the tree in Commerce Square (along with hundreds of other people) and it was a great location in the Baixa. Rooms have good soundproofing. While the street below was very busy, the noise didn’t bother us as we couldn’t really hear it! The buffet style breakfast was very nice, with a coffee machine that was always available. The hotel and rooms were clean. Nice shower. Most importantly, the staff was wonderful!! Ricardo was especially kind and helpful. He went out of his way to make our stay feel special. On the last day he even rolled our luggage down the street to where we waited for our Uber. Leonardo was also helpful and friendly. In fact, all of the staff were very nice. A very pleasant stay in a great area!!

Just back from an excellent long weekend spent in Lisbon.
The Pestana Rua Augusta hotel was everything we hoped for. Very modern and right at the heart of city. The room was well equipped with a king-sized bed, balcony overlooking Rua do Comerico, a great bathroom and a very warm, strong shower.
The double-glazing meant that we could have the window open, and share the hubbub from the streets below, or close the window and have our own quiet space.
The staff at the hotel were very professional and helpful with advice and guidance on what do and how to get around. When we arrived we were able to leave our bags at the hotel and we received a phone call when the room was ready for us. If you can do it, for arrival we definitely recommend arranging the airport transfer with the hotel.
Our only problem with the weekend was that the bed was so comfortable it made it difficult to get up in the morning. A nice problem to have.
3 nights in Lisbon was not long enough to see everything we wanted to see and we will definitely be going back for more.
And we would definitely want to stay again in the Pestana Rua Augusta hotel.

Relatively new hotel in an historic building near the waterfront in the middle of things. The location allows an easy walk to many restaurants, museums, and transport hubs.
The staff are the strength of the hotel, being thoughtful, helpful, and efficient. Uniformly great staff at the front desk, bar, breakfast restaurant, and housekeeping. Would certainly return for another visit.
As a note, not under the control of the hotel, Uber will drop off at the hotel door if given the address on Rua do Comericio, but the Uber app will only pick up about a half block away because of the historic area. No problem, just have the hotel staff schedule or call a taxi to pick up at the door or walk the 1-2 minutes down the street.

Rooms were beautifully decorated & very quiet despite being such a central location. Beds were large & comfortable with luxurious linens. Bathroom had very nice toiletries provided. New hotel, a step away from the Plaza del Comercio, the most beautiful square open to the sea. Well decorated and well sized room, we were on the third floor and at night there was no noise from the street. In the cafeteria you could have breakfast a la carte, so you only pay for what you consume, which for those of us who only have a coffee with something, we don't have to pay €20 or €30, for that reason. Very professional and friendly reception, in short, highly recommended.

Everything was perfect. The staff was very kind and thougtful, always tried to answer all our questions and satisfy our requests. The location is the best, at the very busy heart of Lisbon and yet the hotel is very calm and quiet. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom very clean. We stayed there 3 nights and felt at home. I would totally recommend the hotel to any visito, families, friends or couple.
