A clean and spacious room, 306. Facing the street and the train station but a decent sized balcony and not noisy at night at all, we slept fine. The pillows are massive, one wasn’t enough for me, two was too many. I did ask for a thinner pillow but they don’t have any options so I used one of the bedspreads folded and it worked fine. You get shower gel and shampoo, a shower cap and soap. The room had a coffee machine but the coffee pods are chargeable, I think they were €1.75. Very good coffee all over central Lisbon at €1, but if you’re desperate...
Good breakfast, no complaints at all. Reception staff were pleasant. We didn’t use the hotel’s bar or room service as there are so many options locally. I recommend walking 8-10 mins to Pastelaria Mexicana for toasted sandwiches, coffee and delicious pastries. Very good value.
Hotel a few mins walk from Roma metro station that will whizz you into central Lisbon in about 5-6 stops.
Booked via BA.com and made for a very good value and wnjoyable mini-break.

Hotel was very clean, room extremely spacious with a balcony looking over the city (Premium room). Cleaning staff and reception / bar staff all very helpful and attentive.
The hotel is on the outskirts of the city, but has Roma Metro station a short walk from the hotel (Not to be confused with the overground rail station just across the road). Although there is slight noise from the trains, the rooms are fairly well soundproofed and have air conditioning so you barely notice it.
Breakfast included was varied, although the hot items could've been warmer, but there was a big selection and nice fresh fruit to choose from.
The metro journey is very simple, taking the green (Verde) line from Roma and going 8 stops to Baixa-Chiado where the majority of the sights are.
Highly recommend a meal at Bairrices, where you can sample 22 Tapas style Portuguese dishes for around 19 Euros per person. A really great gastronomical experience with friendly service and many various dishes to try, plus the option to order as many extra ones as you like.

We had interconnecting rooms so there was enough space for our large luggage. However, if we didn’t have this option it would have been a tight squeeze to get everything in!
The service is standard, there doesn’t seem to be much to write home about. I thought a smart design hotel might have a wow factor to it, but it’s just another hotel for an overnight stay before you head to your next destination.

For a supposed 4 star hotel, the rooms are very small and the bathroom is one of the tiniest we have seen. For older people like us, shower in the bathtub is a real problem getting in and out especially as the “plastic” bathtub is very slippery. There is no where to put your wet pack or your clothes. The usual amenities for 4 star hotels, such as toothbrush, toothpaste and shaving kits were nowhere to be seen. There was a complimentary 750 ml water bottle for 2 people to last 2 days, extremely generous of them!!!! It may be a so called Design hotel but that is of no interest to us if the rooms are tiny. There is virtually no space to open 1 let alone 2 suitcases. Once you put the second suitcase on the floor, there is no space in the room whatsoever, especially the 2 chairs as they became useless. To upgrade to a suite they will charge you (over and above the rate for a standard room) extra €200/night, outrageous!!! The hotel is not even near the city centre and one has to rely on a taxi or the metro to the tourist attractions. They claim on their website that each room has a Nespresso coffee machine but they give you no capsules unless you pay about €1.65 per capsule. The mini fridge is locked unless you give them your credit card in advance. As a result you cannot even put your own water in the fridge. There is therefore no tea or coffee making option in the room. You would be better off staying downtown in a proper 4 or even a 5 star hotel. They do have a buffet breakfast but you may have to pay for it. It is barely adequate and we have seen much better buffet breakfasts at other 4 star hotels. The breakfast room is really small and crowded making moving around the tables and the buffet tables almost impossible. Overall I do not think it is worthy of a 4 star destination, I suspect it is a self rated rather than a government rated 4 star hotel. Many 2 star Ibis hotels are more spacious than this hotel.

Seems to be a high quality *** or **** hotel, e.g. rooms are comfortable, buffet breakfast is good, there are black out curtains, etc. However, there were 3 points on the negative side. 1: flat sinks in the bathroom do not make sense because if you spit on it, you have to manually direct the toothpaste and food (I have braces) to the edge of the flat part 2: signing up for the breakfast did not seem to be well managed and did not make sense 3: the staff who checked the registration at the breakfast was a redneck. My friend made a mistake when she spelled her room number out loud (she was very tired) and the staff made fun of her.

This was our second stop in Portugal having travelled down from Porto on the Train we arrived and were checked in by very polite and friendly reception staff. Was never too much trouble to help us find where we needed to go each day and they also helped us with our transfer to the airport on our way home.

Our double room did have twin beds pushed together which made for a spacious comfortable nights sleep. Clean sheets, a selection of pillows from hard to soft. Plug next to bed for charging.

The room was clean, bathroom clean, towels fluffy and clean. Hair dryer in bathroom. Dressing table with accessible plug for own use. Good lights and mirrors. There is a night light that we could not turn off and i would prefer to sleep in pitch black but wasn't the end of the world just not my preference.

There was a shower over the bath which was a good pressure and easily controlled, however it would be good if the hotel could provide a non slip mat for the bottom of the bath as it was very slippery and the floor stepping out is marble effect tiles so be careful. There was a bath mat but only very small.

There was a coffee maker in the room but our one did not work. We put the pod in and only hot water came out, luckily we had our own teabags so we were able to make a cup of tea after purchasing some milk from the bar.

The air-conditioning was temperamental but we were at the beginning of the season so we were able to cope it was not too hot. We had a nice balcony so were able to open the door.

There was a medium size bottle of water provided free and two smaller ones that were 2.50 Euros. Once the free one is used it is not replaced. Again I would have expected free water to be replenished every day it would be nice for the comfort of your guests.

Breakfast was well presented the fruit was delicious, however the hot food on our first morning had gone a bit cold. Plenty of other options though including little pancakes which were very nice.

Our two night stay was very pleasant and we found a nice little Gasto Bar right next door who welcomed us in, this is situated in the theatre next door, they serve meals too if you are on a short stop and too tired to go into town.

Ubers were working out on average 8 Euros to city centre and never waited more than 2 mins for one. Station is very close too. 20 mins from the Airport.

Nice hotel friendly staff in our experience. Thank you to everyone who looked after us.

I stayed at the lutecia for 4 nights, October thru 28 room 722. Bright white room with balcony and twin beds. Bathroom with tub and shower.

Mini fridge but no coffee maker.
Sadly the reason given was not convincing and I wish I could have been able to enjoy a cup as advertised.

Welcome was super friendly and staff fluent in English
French and Spanish. Ready to help, they deserve 5☆.

Breakfast was good. Not varied but plenty of choice.
Best time is right at 7am when people are still in bed.
The hotel should also consider offering self laundry.

I must say I had a good time. Really I highly recommend that hotel to anyone wishing to have a great time.

Use of minibar is expensive. €2.50 for small bottle of water you can find for 29 cents a continente nearby.

A lovely place to stay, not too far from airport or from the sights and sounds of the old quarter of Lisbon. Greeted warmly at reception, and they looked after our bags till it was time to check in. The room was clean and spacious. Bathroom was clean, had a brilliant shower. The breakfast was great, you could have cereals, bacon/eggs fruits, pastries, coffee and the little pancakes were divine. Toast, cold meats etc were also available.
There were 2 tiny little issues i could see. 1 was our room was cold, and even thou we put the heating on, the room never went above 22, but it felt cooler than that. We did not ask for help on this, as we did not want to bother anyone, or seem like "soft tourists. There is a extra blanket in the wardrobe in case you wanted more warmth.
The 2nd thing was the bed. it is massive, but that is its 2 bed bases put together. 1 of the bases was slightly higher than the other 1, so if you rolled over during the night, it was little difficult to roll back. Apart from that, a brilliant place to stay, and only a few meters from Roma railway station and easy walking to the metro stations in the area.

The hotel is a short drive from the airport. The room was clean and everything was neat.

The bathroom is white from top to bottom it hurts your eyes a little.

I liked that we had a small balcony. I wish the room had a bit more table space as the counter is filled with extras and papers.

There was only one elevator working, a small one, and we ended up standing in line waiting for us to go up to our room. After a day of traveling with a small child. A bit inconvenient.

I'm not certain what part of Lisbon you'd call the center. It seemed to me that there are several districts where you might want to shop, stroll or dine, separated by industrial zones. This hotel is right across from the Roma train station. Hint--if you walk from the hotel, turn left and go downhill and you'll have ticket booth and elevators, don't go right and walk across the top level! On the monring after a good night's sleep I wanted to get a bottle of good wine for friends we were visiting, so I walked around several blocks behind the hotel. It's an upscale neightborhood, and in a few blocks I found a great one with a truly helpful sales clerk (the people in Portugal are genuinely nice!). So I'd advise that you'll find some activity around this hotel, and you can sort through the train schedules to conveniently get to other places.

Usually is 4.00pm but they do a lot of early check-in. At least in my case we were four peoples and me that received the room's keys at 0130. Just ask in reception, they are nice.
