What a surprise! This little gem had everything! Clean, neat room. Spacious. Nice deck deck off our room overlooking the pool. Hammocks, childrens play area with lots of equipment and a restaurant on site. Breakfast was unbelievable! Dinner very good as well. Highly recommend this hotel even if we weren’t impressed with the town
What an Amazing hotel! From the moment you check in you are warmly welcomed by the receptionist. Every amenity is explained to you and you are offered pastéis de nata and fruit. The rooms are all unique, very clean, have everything you could need and more for your stay! The pools are heated, free towels are provided too. It’s in a great location close to amazing beaches including Porto Covo. Great restaurants locally n the town centre. The buffet breakfast was a dream, there is every type of traditional cakes, food from the local region and then loads of choices for everyone from young to adults from hot/cold buffet, cereals, juices, coffees of all types, fruit, cheeses and it just goes on and on! Congratulations to the establishment for providing an amazing hotel and staff during our stay. Highly recommend!!…
Cannot rate it with 5/5 cause I had to stay only for a while, however my less than a day stay there was absolutely fine. Nice room, well decorated and maintained, extremely clean and tidy ! Food was very nice and the staff was so helpful and friendly. Warm Portuguese people and hospitality at its best ! I wish I can visit it again in the near future and have a longer stay there!
The plan was to drive to Lisbon, but due to late arrival I stayed one night in Sines before flying home again. Nice hotel with clean and cosy room. Restaurant ok, breakfast is the best part. Very nice and pleasant staff. Recommended for a night or two.
We stumbled across this hotel after a long night of driving. We contacted them around 1:30 in the morning to see is they had an open room with 3 beds, the fantastic front desk man said he would make it work and have it ready when we showed up. We got there around 2AM and he came and helped us with our luggage, brought our things up to our room, had put third bed in the room and even offered to have toast or something made for us if we were hungry from traveling. The hotel breakfast was the BEST we had in all of Portugal....all of these things were unexpected and such a pleasant surprise. Although we only spent the one night I cannot say how appreciative we were for the kindness and hospitality at the Hotel Dom Vasco.....Thank you sooooo much!
This is a small hotel where every aspect of the stay is thought out in detail: from the comfortable rooms, the nice garden with heated pools, the well equipped private patios and the excellent breakfast and dinner food at the restaurant on site. But above all, it is the service provided by the staff that stands above it all: friendly and helpful, always there with a smile: well above what even many five star hotels provide. We loved our stay!
First of all let's note that he surroundings are a little sketchy as it is mostly an industrial and fishing town. But the hotel itself is splendid. Very comfortable. The staff is very nice and helpful. The room are very clean. There is an outdoor pool and a jacuzzi, as well as a fitness room. Breakfast was amazing - with cheese, meat, eggs, pastries, cakes, orange juice, etc etc.
Very nice hotel with everything you need for a great stay. Staff is super friendly, restaurant is great also. Rooms have so many nice touches like towel rack heater and tea, coffee selection. Bath robe and slippers too. Book with confidence. See my wife’s smile she loved it too
We stayed at this hotel one night. The rooms are all unique. Our room was the princess suite. Really enjoyed it. The air-conditioning could have been better but the rest was great. The breakfast was as advertised. One of the best meals I’ve had any hotel anywhere. The town is also interesting. Laid-back. Nice inexpensive restaurants. Worth a visit.
During a roadtrip I have stayed a night in this fantastic hotel. Not only is it a warm hotel, the decoration, the rooms, all very nice, clean and literally with all things and services a traveller could wish for. Even a Playstation in the room and an iPad you can use to read any newspaper in the world. A fantastic pool and a well provided gym. Things where you can see that they care about you. But what striked me most was the warm and friendly staff, each and everyone of them. Finally: don’t miss out on the breakfast, it is fantastic. Hidden gem!
