20 minutes walk from Le Grand Place and all of the sites in centre of Brussels. Rooms are a decent size (not palatial) but very clean and comfortable. Great continental breakfast in a bright spacious dining room. I got parking just across the street from the hotel.

This is an example of Hotels in Brussels that benefit from being in the capital or Europe (and thus making sure business) while being expensive and giving poor service. Slow—if existing—internet connection, dark rooms, slow and unfriendy staff, slow check out, understaffed reception ... they could do a lot better!

My wife and I recently stayed here for two nights and we liked the place. The location is great, around the corner from Avenue Louise, about a 10-minute walk from Brussels Central train station (where we got on and off the train to/from the airport) and about a 15-minute walk from the Grand Place (uphill on the way back - be prepared!). It's not the most modern of hotels but it's perfectly adequate. My wife asked for a quiet room and in fairness they gave us a very quiet room - albeit with a window that overlooked a very small area of piping with very little natural light. The room was adequate but the bathroom (and particularly the shower) was a little bit on the tight side. A major advantage was that breakfast was included in the rate, which is becoming less common nowadays, and can add a lot to the cost of staying in other hotels. The staff were friendly and they were happy to store our luggage after we checked out as we weren't flying back until the evening time.

I stayed at Chambord for one night, on a business trip. The hotel is nice and conveniently located, but I did NOT have a pleasant stay. To start with, wifi is poor, very poor I have to say - I was not even able to load gmail. The elevator was working poorly - for instance you could not go to the third floor, and the elevator always stopped at the wrong floor (that is, if you press 5, you would go to level 4, if you pressed 3, you would go to level 2, and you cannot go to level 3 no matter what you press). Also, the duvet covers in my room were really dirty, with dark spots everywhere, definitely third-world class. There is no fridge in the room, nor a kettle, so forget about preparing yourself a tea or coffee. Also, I am coeliac, and I could not have anything they prepared for breakfast. Not even a cappuccino, as their machine uses a flavoured, sweetened powder milk possibly containing gluten (indeed, they said to me they use only fresh milk, but on a closer inspection of the machine I found out that this was not true). I have asked for one hard boiled egg, and they refused to cook it.
Also, the people attending breakfast seem to speak no English, and also very poor French.

Overall, this seems as a nice hotel which a recent change in management is rapidly ruining. Hugely overpriced for the service

The pros: Location, cleanness, breakfast.
The cons: Individual rooms are tiny, bad wifi, cost vs quality. Carpet floors on rooms (a personal opinion)
At 8 AM I was awaken by workers tearing down a room. Impossible and incredible.
