Stayed at this hotel during a 4-day trip to the Netherlands in which we visited Rotterdam, Amsterdam and The Hague and I would thoroughly recommend to anyone! Rooms are very comfortable, bathrooms are very compact and we all slept incredibly well throughout our stay. Check in and out process was also very straightforward, and the lounge/bar area for evening drinks and breakfast was very cosy. Will be returning!

The location of the hotel is great, walking distance to many sights and shops as well as the metro and tram if you want to travel further away. The rooms facing the canal have a nice view but it's a shame the windows are small. There is a good car park next door to the hotel but hotel guests get no discount for parking there (24 Euros per night). Rooms are on the small side but fine for a couple of nights. They include a safe, which is nice to have. The hotel is not cheap, though. Around 200 Euros per night (without breakfast or parking) for a basic hotel chain like Ibis is quite steep. For that money, the hotel should at least make sure the curtains are not full of holes! They don't seem to have family rooms either, so families have to pay for two rooms per night.

We stayed one night on a budget break - easy to get to from Rotterdam Centraal via 21/24 tram to Blaak and then a 5 min walk. Check in was easy. Room was modern and clean with a nice bathroom and kettle. USB ports provided. English channels on TV. Bar area was warm and welcoming. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment. Pillows were a bit soft maybe. 5 mins walk to water taxi, markthal and Oude Haven. We had a view over the canal. The staff were very friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Overall a nice stay. the room was clean and comfortable. I was surprised that when I opted for the Plant21 option to not have my room serviced, both times I had to personally go and ask for my voucher at the reception desk, I would have thought that this should be pushed under the door as an example. Also breakfast was nice, with 2 exceptions, the juice was really over watered down, and the scrambled eggs were terrible, on both days of my stay.

I didn’t have a good experience at all in the hotel. There was no enough warm water in the shower. It was very instable. They charged me an unknown amount in my credit card, and couldn’t explain me what it was refered to. I wrote several messages to them, but I didn’t receive any reply, and I continue without reply. The hotel is downtown, what is good. The service is ok, but the breakfast can be better. There are not enough fruit, as an example. For everything I passed I definitively don’t recomend the hotel.

Surprised we were able to check in on arrival and did not have to wait for 3pm. Cristina was a remarkable host who looked after our requirements regularly. We had a twin bed room on the 4th floor which was clean and cool even during the hottest day.
