It´s hard to think of a more appropriate place to stay in Rotterdam than in one of its most iconic buildings, De Rotterdam. And nHow, that occupies a part of the complex, seems to be the perfect match for the building itself. Maintaining its respect to Rem Koolhaas´ design, it is still an nHow: witty and dare, full of surprises and a touch of extravagance in the common areas. We opted for a Premium room for our family of three and it was a great choice; sleek and techy, spacious and bright, with floor-to-ceiling windows that offered breathtaking views to the city´s skyline, a fantastic bathroom and attention to every detail. Location wise, the hotel is at Kop Van Zuid, a relatively new and still upcoming neighborhood, built on abandoned port areas. More specifically it is on Wilhelmina Pier, a modern architecture “park”, where one may find, along a few hundred meters walk, and between the historic warehouses, buildings from some of the most famous starchitects in the world. And Rotterdam centre is a mere 5’ metro ride away, from the Wilhelminaplein metro station, just across the road. Last, but certainly not least, breakfast is not to be missed. Served in Elvy Restaurant-Bar area, and drawing from the street food concept, it is fresh, hearty, healthy and indulgent, at the same time, with special dishes every day and hot dishes on order -coupled with the fantastic views from the terrace. It’s not a surprise that we are eager to return and enjoy both nHow and the vibrant city of Rotterdam.

Very clean, fresh hotel. Staff was friendly and breakfast was excellent. Location is great with all the main attractions within reach. View from our room was magnificent, especially at night. Recommendation: Request a skyline view with your reservation. Will visit again!

nhow Rotterdam is a modern hotel, located close to the iconic Erasmusbrug and next to the De Rotterdam building. City center is just a few metro stations distant (if one gets off at Beurs or Stadhuis), while you will need one more stop if you are going to reach Rotterdam Centraal.  Rooms are very bright and pretty large, as is the bathroom, whose ambience is divided in two by a "smart" opaque glass door. Beds are comfortable. It would have been a pleasant stay if only we did not have problems with setting the air conditioning system, circumstance that seems common to many rooms, in which the temperature is pretty low despite all the efforts to get some warm air (I heard other guests complaining about that).  For us it was a real issue, as we traveled with a 13 months old baby. (for the record, they offered us the possibility to change room - the new ones had the same temperature problem - but at the end the best solution was an old style portable heater) Staff deserves a 10, per availability and willingness to help. Special mention for Jazmina (hope to have written properly the name) at the reception and Sonia at the "breakfast desk". The bar at the 7th floor, where breakfast is served, offers great views over the bridge and the city skyline (pictures at night are great) 🌉 The gym, on the 09th floor, is good too. Just outside its doors there is everything one could need: the Wilhelminaplein metro station, taxis, a Albert Heijn supermarket and Rotterdam Foodhallen.

We stayed at Rotterdam for two days as part of a longer trip around Europe. The nhow hotel was perfectly situated for the airport, cruise port and local underground travel. Rotterdam is easy to navigate so we managed to visit a few local attractions in the short time we were there. The hotel was really lovely, the room was big and we had a bath with relaxing bath salts which was a nice touch. The breakfast was really excellent with a variety of options which were all freshly prepared and well thought out. The dining area was clean and nicely spaced. The staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful and friendly, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

Excellent, modern hotel adjacent to the Rotterdam cruise port. Indoor/outdoor bar on a high level floor, good appetizers, wonderful drinks and unbeatable view of Rotterdam. Huge selection for every taste in the breakfast buffet. Well-appointed and clean room. Super convenient for cruise travelers. Would stay here again.

It was like always, like coming home: parking the car in the car park, friendly welcome at the reception, elevator to the 21st floor, insert the key card in the slot. The usual suite: bright, spacious, clear, comfortable - arrived at home in Rotterdam. Enjoy this awesome view. And just in time to see the armada of water taxis with the King and his entourage pass by. Where else is this?

My wife and I stayed at nhow Rotterdam for two nights. The room was fantastic, with a spectacular view of the Erasmus Bridge. The nhow Rotterdam is also steps away from a metro station, so it was easy to get around the city. We also visited the hotel restaurant, where we were impressed with the quality of the food and drinks. The staff was especially friendly to us. In particular, Esmerelda at the front desk helped us with all of our needs, including holding our bags for us and sorting out our bill. Thank you Esmerelda and thank you nhow Rotterdam!

Best asset of this hotel is Sonia. She took care very well about my special requests ;) Hotel is very nice and breakfast is much more than good. Bed is confortable. Sad it was 2 single beds and not linked. Means that if you are alone, you can easily fall in the middle when you sleep. Thanks for the stay
