Nice Hotel with parking and restaurant. The hotel offers a delicious daily breakfast, lunch and dinner in the restaurant and a bar for refreshments. Novotel Rotterdam is easily reachable thanks to its convenient location next to the A16/E19 highway exit 25, and public transport options within walking distance. The Novotel is easy to reach by car and public transport.

Location close to the highway. Public transport to city possible.
Service was friendly and good
Rooms are spacious, but have an outdated feel, very small tv in rooms. Inner door makes it possible to remove hall noises.
Window sound insulation not optimal, even on the higher floors a lot of noise from the streets could be heard.
Airco only noisy on high settings
Toilet in bathroom, sink, bath with shower, bit uncomfortable for shower. Old fashion shower hose. Also an unpleasant smell in the bathroom (drainage).
Wifi ok
Breakfast, ok , enough choices, but quality of bread and pastry, beverages can improve.
Fir the price paid an ok choice, given the location and room size

I stayed for 4 days and most everything was perfect at this hotel. The Pre-Checkin via App went well, all data were recorded correctly (it is not always that way at other hotels!) and the staff received me with a warm welcome.
The parking at the hotel's parking lot was included, as well free charging for my electric car!
The room at the 10th floor was nice and clean.
During the whole stay all staff members were always friendly and helpful.
The only point I have to deduct from a full points review is the breakfast buffet. There were plenty of items to choose from and most them were good. (Milk, yoghurt, fruit, bread, butter, marmelade, etc.) but the warm food (eggs, bacon, beans, etc.) was not really warm, only some degrees above room temperature...
And - it stayed that way. Four times I had breakfast at various times, so between 7 and 8 o'clock, and always the "warm" food was only lukewarm. All those serving pots were placed on heaters, but obviously they did not work correctly. Maybe the staff should check those devices...

Overall,I still do recommend this hotel for a business stay, as beside my breakfast experience everything else was perfect!

This hotel has 4 stars but it doesn’t deserve it. Room needs update. Old, very used carpet on the floor, bathroom very dated and the products offered low quality. Luckily I brought my own products. Due to COVID-19 they removed everything from the room, like pen and notepad ( I hope they had it before) as well as the “complimentary bottle of water “ from the mini fridge. I asked about it at the reception but they looked at me like I’m an idiot asking for it and told me they don’t distribute free water I can buy it from their shop ( happened the 13/07/2021 evening). Apart the reception the restaurant’s stuff are nice and I liked the dishes I ordered. If you order room service and want to be delivered to your room they will charge 7€ for that or you can go to the restaurant and pick it up yourself and bring it to the room.
Only reason to stay in this hotel now because it is close to the office building where I have to go while I’m in Rotterdam.

The hotel is convenient if you are visiting Brainpark, a business district dead at night, or Erasmus University Rotterdm. Other than these, very little around. Rooms are quite spacious but thather dirty (photos of the carpets are available). The bathroom is OK; even the shower, if you are shorter than 185 cm! If you would want to print something, forget it; not even the front desk knew how to do it. Room service? You must be joking! During the covid restrictions, with the restaurant closed, you had to get down at 7 o'clock in the morning, with your pyjamas, pick up your tray, and with your third hand push the elevator button. No staff. When I complained, asking for a refund of the breakfast money they refused, coming up with some funny arguments about bundled prices (on this I have already aproached the European Commission). If you would like to have a cup of coffee during the day, this is out of the question. And the list is endless. Novotel Brainpark Rotterdam? Never again!

The hotel itself is comfortable, the staff friendly and accommodating, and the food very good. The location, in a research park with nothing of interest in the vicinity, pretty much sucks for anything other than a business trip. Public transport is reasonably close with buses on weekdays near the entrance and a quiet 10' walk through the research park to the subway on weekends. Of course I found Rotterdam itself as a dull, featureless, atypical Dutch port city with little to offer tourists. I was there on business.

First off, the location is excellent. That is the main reason we always stay at the hotel. Near Rotterdam without being in the city. You do have to pay 10 EUR a day for parking (regardless of status).
The rooms are servicable but are in serious need of renovation.
The staff, however is hit or miss:
- reception:
+ not friendly, and it had to go fast (no mention of our customary welcome drink)
- bar and restaurant:
+ weird look if you answer that you have not reserved (even though the restaurant is near empty)
+ bartender seems annoyed at having to service customers
+ food is mediocre and pricey for what you get

The hotel rooms are in an extremely bad state. The carpet needs to be replaced and smells. The night staff is very helpful but the same cant be said about the day staff. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was full of flies sitting on the food. When i complained, the manager said that nothing can be done and blamed the flies on guests who ate food outside. Not sure that i could understand the relevance of flies sitting on the food indoors and guests eating outside. The health authorities need to be informed before someone gets seriously sick. The hotel is definitely not walkable to the city centr. The closes train station is 15-20 minutes walk. There is a bus that goes there though. I am surpised at how Accor are allowing this hotel to function in this deplorable stage. the staff except for night staff are demotivated and not bothered.

From the 6th floor we had a nice view to the south, with the Erasmus bridge visible. A comfortable foldout sofa bed for the child. Just a few minutes walk from the metro, with frequent connections to the centre of town. Breakfast was pretty good (selection of cold and hot dishes), especially for small children. We missed the hashbrowns (rarely found in the Netherlands) and the pancakes. But at €20 pp (small children free) it seems rather expensive.
Parking is reasonable at €5/day.
No possibility to get a view at the top of the hotel, which is a bit of a shame.

We traveled with children (11 and 8 years old). The room was very clean and organized. The room service cleaned it every day which was great.
The breakfast was good and there were plenty of options for the kids. They enjoyed it. The location is good and we drove to Keukenhof garden, Rotterdam Zoo and Beekse Bergen Safari Park.
The staff was always very helpful and nice.
The parking place is big and outdoor. Make sure to ask for the tickets at the reception.

We will choose it again ☺️

This hotel is situated in Rotterdam, which lies a little less than 50 miles south of Amsterdam. The best way to get there from Schiphol airport would be to take the train to Rotterdam and from there a taxi. Don't take a cab from schiphol unless you are prepared to pay a load of money

By train is best, but using uber is good option as well. Taxi is most expensive.

Dear guest, Most convenient way of transportation would be to take the Metro (undergound) which is about a 8-10 minute walk from the hotel. Station name is Kralingse Zoom. You can purchase a one-way ticket for 3.50 EUR at one of the ticket machines at the station. A one Day travel card is also available at a price of 7.50 eur . The tickets are valid for all busses, trams and metros run by the RET. From Kralingse Zoom metro sation it is only 4 stops to the city center. If you take a tram or bus, abovementioned tickets can be bought from the driver. The hotel also offers Rotterdam Welcome Cards, this is a touristic booklet with loads of discounts on Rotterdam attractions and a 1,2 or 3 day travelpass. Kind regards, Bob, Front Office
