We spent three nights in this hotel. Very spacious room (we are a family of two adults and two kids), clean and comfortable. Breakfast varied and plentiful. Very convenient the ample parking available. Great location, 5 minutes drive from the city center and less than 30 minutes drive to visit the Keukenhof Garden in Lisse. Efficient service and extremely helpful staff. I forgot my i-pad in my room on the day of departure and they made every effort to find it and mail it to me. I would absolutely recommend it.

This hotel has a great location near to the highway and close to the Rotterdam city center. The hotel reception and restaurant are a bid outdated. My executive room was spacious with a minimalistic interior, average bedding and very small desk. The new modern bathroom was great, but with my 1.96 I hit my head to the shower. The breakfast is good and the hotel staff is very friendly.

Coming to this hotel on regular basis on business trips over the last 9 years, so have quite good comparison how it was changing over the years. 1. Staff at the reception is rude and not helpful. I wanted to check in on 01/02 and was welcomed with „what do you want” in english by long blond haired lady at front desk…. No Hello or good afternoon. 2. No restaurant menu available in the room or online. I Could not find it in the room so called the front desk. Lady at the reception told me to go downstairs, take a photo of the menu and order downstairs or by phone. Considering the room service is quite expensive here this is quite ridiculous. 3. No safety regarding the luggage storage - „leave what you want, take what you want” approach. Missing name tags or something similar. 3. Quality of meals served in the restaurant has decreased 4. Nice to see the hotel rooms finally got the nice re-touch and the super friendly afternoon restaurant and bar team is still there and not changing over the years.…

Simple neat hotel. Stayed there for over 15 days. Was visiting my son at Erasmus university. The hotel is located very close. The room in itself was cosy. Very comfortable bed. Could do with a bit of closet space as very little space to put the clothes away. Good view from the hotel and decent heating. Meals very also decent - did not take the breakfast at the hotel. So don’t know about that.

For the first time I had a scary experience in this hotel. I was fortunately fully dressed at 10 pm when a man used a key to enter my room. He thought he was checked in correctly but of course apologised and left. Apparently I had been checked out in error. If I had been a woman I would have called the police. The hotel explanation was on was a mistake. Unfortunately as a result I cannot recommend the hotel which is as others say in need of a big upgrade.

The room was nice, the view from my room was good too, and the hotel has a nice restaurant near the reception. But remember that the hotel is far from city center, and the closest tram station is at least 10 mins' walk. RSM is close and that was my reason to stay at this hotel. Also, while I was staying the hotel was undergoing repairs, only two out to four lifts were working thus it took more than 10 mins for the lift to show up on my floor.

From the 6th floor we had a nice view to the south, with the Erasmus bridge visible. A comfortable foldout sofa bed for the child. Just a few minutes walk from the metro, with frequent connections to the centre of town. Breakfast was pretty good (selection of cold and hot dishes), especially for small children. We missed the hashbrowns (rarely found in the Netherlands) and the pancakes. But at €20 pp (small children free) it seems rather expensive. Parking is reasonable at €5/day. No possibility to get a view at the top of the hotel, which is a bit of a shame.

This is our preferred hotel in Rotterdam. Breakfast is amazing for the whole family: many healthy choices ! The hotel is located near a free park & ride; which allows you to be in the city center quickly. Unfortunately, you have to pay now for the parking (post covid measure)

it was not my first stay in a Novotel but this one was a disappointment. I will start with the 2 good points. -the staff at the reception, very nice and smiling -the breakfast buffet was amazing now where to start because it's a lot. the air in the rooms is horrible, after one night it starts to smell like old wet socks and no way to take it off. even the reception has something to make it smell good. only my bed was done, no vacuum cleaner. we were at the beach and the sand was there our whole stay. after our first night at 8:30 someone is knocking at the door and every 30 minutes they were knocking again, so the breakfast it until 11 so if I leave the room at 10:30. then when you say "Good Morning" to the cleaning staff, the lady rolled her eyes, says "ouff" and turn the back. than at the breakfast buffet the staff also has no idea what does it mean to smile. when you say "good morning" with a smile they are looking at you like you killed their mother. only the last morning, the young lady showed us with a smile where we can sit. second day, 2 elevators war broke. so either you wait 1 hour or you walk down stairs. we were at the 9th floor and the stairs were iron steps.... the whole corridor at the 9th floor smelled Marihuana, someone smoked his join and leaved it there.…
