Hotel is only about 10 minutes walk from Central station. There is not much right outside the hotel as the cafe next door had closed down. The main shops bars of Rotterdam was only about 15 to 20 minutes walk away though. Booked a deluxe room for 3 nights but room was pretty basic and very dark decor and very small. I got off to a bad start when I realised out of the 3 couples on the trip my room cost 100 euros more than the other 2 and I had the worst room. I mentioned this to reception but they told me I was just unlucky the date I booked it. I also booked direct with the hotel as it claimed to be 12% cheaper than any hotel booking sites. The others had used hotel.com & booking.com so I should have done the same. We all booked about 4 months in advance. The bed was very comfy so that was best thing about the room. The Tea & coffee in the room was Not replaced daily we had to ask for it at reception. There was no room to put anything so we just lived out the bags on the floor. I felt the room cost was quite expensive about 200 euros per night so I was expecting it to be better. I would not stay here again.

Beautifully designed boutique hotel! Love the marine references and the understated elegance. You can see the care that has been put into every aspect and I really appreciated it and enjoyed all of the details. Rooms are on the smaller side even with upgrade but very peaceful, quiet, comfortable, lovely spaces. My room looked out onto a quiet courtyard with trees turning golden colors in the autumn weather, so beautiful. Gorgeous bathroom. Good proximity to centraal and a nice walk to everything in the city center. Seems to be a somewhat residential area with grocery stores nearby if you need provisions. Breakfast was absolutely wonderful, and staff went the extra mile to make eggs and bacon the morning of my departure—fuel for the road!—which I really appreciated. Thank you so much! Sergio the owner is lovely, very welcoming and accommodating to guest needs. Great music and nice atmosphere in a small lounge/cafe space. Note that there are no refrigerators in the rooms so you’ll need to use the first floor fridge with the front desk attendants to get things for you as needed. I will mention that there was a bit of a boundary issue with one male attendant my last evening there so not sure I will return here next time. But apart from that, this hotel is beautiful and I strongly recommend it for travelers, couples, families, all will be happy, comfortable and delighted with this hotel. Wonderful atmosphere all around and worth the money.

We enjoyed our clean and lovely air-conditioned room. I looked forward to our morning breakfast selections. We also enjoyed an evening cocktail on the deck. Boutique fits well in their name. I would certainly stay here again.

I was here for 4 nights. The hotel has excellent connectivity to buses and trams within a 2-5 minute walking distance. The Central station is a 2 minute bus ride or 10 minute walk. The rooms are very clean and well maintained. I loved the fact that if you chose not to replace towels every day, they would plant a tree for you. This was a great initiative.

During the late days of October, I stayed three nights at Le Marin Boutique Hotel in Rotterdam. The room was big and I had a proportionally large bed to go with it. Decorations was in dark mode, but tasteful. On arrival I noted that the reception area was crowded with young people nipping (what I thought was) champagne. In fact, it was the hotel cava, greeting every guest. In my room I found such a bottle waiting with a hand written note wishing me welcome. Now, I’m not am ardent fan of either champagne or cava, bit this was actually quite good. Anyway, I fine gesture towards new guests. The people working the reception area has to mentioned. They were very attentive, and spoke English very well. I was in Rotterdam on a work assignment, and spent a few hours in the restaurant area doing editing. On one occasion I was in a real hurry after several hours of shooting footage for my story. There had been no time to bring back my blood sugar levels, so when the receptionist (with an excellent US accent) offered me some snacks and a beer, there was no way I turned it down. The next day, one of the mal receptionists offered to make me a drink, I asked for a gin tonic. I returned with what must be the best G/T I’ve ever tasted. Made by a local brewery and all. The same guy made a discrete and professional effort asking a disturbingly loud talking British guest to lower his voice. Thanks for that! Check out was done swiftly and smoothly. I can highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful hotel, modern and stylish with a comfortable feel. My room (202) spotlessly clean, comfortable bed and a great shower! Loves having a coffee maker in the room after long walks around the city. Most of all I felt very safe here. The staff are warm, welcoming and very helpful. I've really enjoyed my stay, thank you Le Marin! Xx

It is a nice design quiet hotel but you have to like the dark atmosphere throughout (including the rooms). Rooms are very small and I had a superior so I cannot imagine what a standard room is. They also have a nice bar. 10 minutes walk from the train station and 20-25 minutes from the main attractions. Hotel people very polite and pleasant. The bad sides now: - minibar mentioned in websites but actually it has no fridge, just a few drinks, snacks and coffee machine on the shelf - as it is an old building, you can hear every single step of the room above & even the phone vibrating on their night table - you can be green and put a sign outside ttou door not to clean the room and receive a 5 eur vouche to use at the bar but i asked two different guys at reception, nobody aware on how to proceed

This brand new hotel blew us away as literally everything has been thought when you think of a boutique hotel. The entrance, the smell, the background music, the lights throughout and the rooms are well designed with a fab bathroom! The beda were also very (!) comfortable and we even thought of getting the same ones at home. Also good to know that there is an elevator. But most of all, what made our experience different than others is the level of service. The friendliness and expertise from (all of) the staff is almost unique nowadays! Loved the mixed staff in all ages and nationalities plus the breakfast offers a wise choice as a hotel-breakfast should be (also vegan options) We can say that we were very satisfied and would like to go back. The city centre is also in close proximity and the parking costs are very reasonable compared to other destinations. In general Le Marin offers value for money and hope you enjoy it much as we did :)

Last Friday, a friend and I had a wonderful stay at Le Marin. The location is perfect (nearby the treinstation), the staff is very friendly, the interior is stunning and the dinner (served at our room because of the Covid-19 restrictions) was AMAZING! Thank you Le Marin for the lovely stay. Can’t wait to come back!
