Great hotel, perfectly located in the heart of Rotterdam so expect some noises. Lovely spacious rooms equiped with coffee/tea machine, but in the end rooms should be cleaner. Also be aware that you can't open any windows but AC is doing its job. There is no breakfast / restaurant option in the hotel but you can buy some nice basics at their small 24/7 food market and you will find plenty of bars/restaurant around.

We booked a double room and ended up getting a free upgrade to a suite on the 16th floor with city view! What a great surprise! The ladies at reception are lovely and the room looked great. Thank you so much. We will be back soon 😉

Had a really great stay, with a free upgarde to a room with amzing views overlooking the city, bed was really comfortable, Had a small gym which was more than enough for that morning work out, would i book here again - yes 100% Staff was really helpfull and pleasent at all times

The family has stayed here several times, as we love this place. The location is great and the price is right. The atmosphere and design of the interior is nice. Service is professional and friendly. Rooms are spacious, modern and clean. Bed very comfortable. The locale on the second floor where customers can chill and buy food and drink as needed with self service, very convenient.

This is a three star hotel that should be listed among 4 or at least 3.5 star hotels. Excellent location, warm welcome service, very nice room with excellent bed. The only drawback of this hotel is the food court. It is true that you get many breakfast options close-by, one would expect a bit more in terms of food and beverages and in terms of space. But then, if you know that you should search for food around, this drawback doesn’t matter.

Fantastic hotel - absolutely recommend staying here when in Rotterdam. Location is brilliant, service was great and room lovely. We had fabulous views of the city and an extra comfy bed. Coffee machine was a lovely touch. Bathroom was a great size.

I love this hotel and look forward to staying here when I’m in Rotterdam to visit my family. The rooms are spacious, quiet, clean, well-equipped, and super comfortable. There’s a large dining/sitting area that includes a well-stocked self-service food and drink market, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The James is in the city centre, so handy for most attractions and a lively night life.

We stayed here for one night. The location was excellent. Close to everywhere. The hotel was nicely decorated with a friendly and helpful staff at the reception. The room was big enough and it was very clean. The bed was comfy. Not really liked the pillows. But the heating was good. We were on the second floor which is on the same floor with the amenities of the hotel. The 24/7 market is handy and not that expensive. There are 4 rooms at this floor which is nice but there is no view. Just the window of the next door building. In general I think this hotel is worth staying. This was a right decision to make.

A great place to stay in Rotterdam Review of Hotel The James Reviewed 2 days ago Great hotel for our weekend trip. Helpful and friendly staff. They organized restaurants, parking and requests about places to see. The room was lovely. Great view. Beds super comfortable. Great shower. The atmosphere was festive in the lobby, as the winter holidays had just begun. Coffee machines in the room with good coffee and tea. Also, the hotel is centrally located, within walking distance of stores, theaters and restaurants, as well as public transportation. All in all, a great place to stay in Rotterdam. We will be back.
