The Pincoffs Suite Hotel is a small luxury hotel. It resides in a national monument built in 1879 in the area currently called Kop van Zuid, the trendy Rotterdam left bank. The former customs office is full of atmosphere and authentic details. We can offer you charm, space and comfort in our 17 suites, luxury rooms, hotel bar and period rooms for meetings. The view of the river, the bridges and the skyline is heartwarming. There is free espresso coffee, tea and water in each room and suite. The Pincoffs serves breakfast, lunch and a small number of dinner plates. There is free parking in the street after 18:00h and on Sundays. The hotel has a private parking (20 euro per car per night). Wowzah! Great Location! Close to everything but quiet. Romantic views of the river. Everything was carefully thought out. We could stream from our devices to the different TV's and the bluetooth speaker. Amazing bathroom products. Wonderful Linens. Comfortable Bed. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful. If your driving parking is so convenient and easy. Spacious. Clean, soft, comfortable carpets and rugs perfectly placed. We only stayed for one night but wish we had stayed for more.

The hotel went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed to have a wonderful stay. From restaurant recs to helping us find a food delivery app on the evening we were too tired to go out (and then hand delivered the food to our room with plates and utensils) to booking us an early morning flight. The rooms are like no other I have every stayed. The windows are two stories high. Each room is decorated with amazing detail. Adjoining rooms made very easy for a family of 4. Will stay again for sure!

We booked this hotel specifically for Rotterdam Netherland's fireworks show, We understand why it is expensive, almost double than the normal nightly charge because of the event. But we were very disappointed that the Hotel did note even gave any consideration when the Fireworks show was cancelled. We asked the following: if we can cancel/pay cancellation fee, also they dont have to refund to us the money, just allow us to stay on another day. we even asked for Breakfast voucher for next time stay. All were declined!! We called early but all they can say is"we are waiting if the Fireworks will be cancelled and decide from there". They kept us hanging until the last moment/hour. What kind of administration do they have? no prior alternative/decision at all even its all over the news that the Fireworks show might be cancelled.…

Dear Molen123, We appreciate it when guests take the time to review our hotel. However, your review is not an assessment, but a settlement for the fact that the fireworks show in Rotterdam could not take place due to the strong wind and the dangers that these circumstances would have entailed. You wanted to cancel your room for the third time on a row. You have had a lot of bad luck with the fireworks shows that have been canceled in the past years. In previous years, we were flexible. The cancellation of the fireworks was then known much earlier than in this year. You have been able to transfer your reservations to the following year free of charge. The room could be booked by another guest. Everyone satisfied. In 2022, there was a last-minute decision by the municipality of Rotterdam. Our cancellation policy, which you signed when booking, says that you must pay 100% in the event of a cancellation on the day itself. There was therefore no question of leniency in this edition. We were within our right not to postpone your reservation for another year and have made use of it. The room was yours, but you chose to leave. We did not consider this a reason to return your money. After all, the rooms are equally beautiful on all days of the year, with or without fireworks. We understand that you regret our decision and that of the municipality of Rotterdam. However, we think it's sad that you translate that into a 1 star review on all possible websites. We call this an attempt at revenge. Our hotel and our staff, who have always helped you well in recent years, have not deserved that. The fact that the room rates on New Year's Eve are higher than at other times of the year is because demand is high and our hotel offers a fantastic view of the Erasmus Bridge (with or without fireworks). By the way, your room rate was the lowest of the entire (fully booked) hotel, because you still had a price that was several years old. We wish you a good 2023. Team Pincoffs

Was booked into this hotel by my son who was getting married in rotterdam. Not knowing what hotel was like looked at some tripadvisor reviews. some good some not so good. what a great surprise we got when we got there. a fantastic mixture of oldy worldly and modern great facilities wonderful friendly staff who couldn't do enough for you. Comfortable bedrooms gave us a good nights sleep.If I have a critiscism it is the breakfast was a little expensive for what you got but quality was awesome. Great 2 nights stay wouldn't hesitate to go again

We spent a delightful time at this boutique hotel. We had a lovely view from our bedroom window. We could se the Wilhelmina Bridge and the main parts of the city. The breakfast was very good with plenty to set you up for the days of site seeing. The greatest strength of this hotel is its heritage building, the former Customs House..

We stayed at the Pincoffs Suites while visiting our son who is studying abroad. We chose the hotel for it’s proximity to the train station and his school. We were pleasantly surprised by all aspects of the property. The major comforts we look for in a hotel are clean, a full shower, a comfortable bed and the ability to control the climate. We are happy to report all of those requirements were exceeded. Our suite had exceptionally high ceilings, (I’m told same for all rooms) and the staff was pleasant and accommodating. Due to a storm, our train was cancelled and the staff was quick to help us change arrangements and stay an extra night if necessary. Bar is quaint and comfortable and offers craft cocktails. We suggest including breakfast as it’s fresh and plentiful with kind staff. We were close to the downtown, but the hotel is a quiet peaceful location. The staff really made for a wonderful experience as they were always pleasant and willing to help. Cheers…

Unreliable company that profits from (admittedly) clumsy arrangement with us regarding chamber and menu price. No mercy for a our family that booked 10 out of 17 rooms for a wednesday night. Never go there.

Dear hvk65, As an entrepreneur, it is difficult to protect yourself against people who write revenge reviews like you did. We offered you a price for your family gathering (overnight stay, breakfast and dinner) in April 2021. Your family agreed in april 2021 with our offer in which a discount was included. This week, a few days before the stay, your family suddenly wanted an extra discount. Because you booked ten rooms, because it was a weekday and because you had seen a lower price on the internet (not for the day of your stay, by the way). The hotel and the chef performed very well. Your mother and father gave us a big compliment for the Pincoffs Suite were they stayed the night. You give us this bad review NOT because the hotel and restaurant performed badly during the family gathering. Grandma's birthday was a great success, our employees were told. The staff got a big thumbs up. Regarding this review…. The only thing you can do as an entrepreneur is to defend yourself against such acts of revenge. And then quickly turn your attention to the happy guests of today and tomorrow.

We are going with my family every year to celebrate my birthday to some nice place, good hotel. So, it was already 7th time, when I was celebrating my birthday in the hotel. When I was ordering the hotel, I wrote to them an e-mail, that we are coming to celebrate my birthday, I would like to order champagne to the room and maybe a cake (no, I didn't ask any discounts, I already booked a Mezzanine room before). They answered me, that bottle of sparkling wine is 39e, I answered, that we will think and maybe we will buy, when we will arrive at the hotel. After a few days, I got an automatic e-mail from them webpage, that maybe I want to get a better room or some extra things with, of curse, some extra fee. And.. There was also a bottle of sparkling wine, which in to them internet page cost 35e. Ok.. It was already little bit funny, that somebody is writing bigger prices, then is in internet page (by the way, at the hotel price was 38e- so, no comments. ) At my birthday, we arrived at the hotel. They checked our ID's. And... No any happy birthday. In all these 7 years, first time hotel stuff didn't say anything. Of course, they don't have to say something, but if I am going to the small, cozy hotel (the specially on Covid time, when there is basically no tourist), I am really expecting, that hotel stuff will say something... (maybe I just expecting to much? ) And if we are skipping my personal not reached expectations, then hotel was nice, service was also friendly (special nice service girl was on the breakfast!), but in 4* hotel in the room was no table water (on the menu and in the room information, was written, that it had to be for free, but it was no any water). Location could be better- to go to the center need to take a metro, but a car parking on the street is cheap (so, some pluses and some minuses about location).…

Dear KarolinaKaru, we are very sorry we didn't meet your expectations. And, to be honest, we made a few mistakes during your (online) booking journey. We should have congratulated you at your check-in. That's very normal in hour hotel. In 2020 almost every traveller had something to celebrate in our hotel, so we congratulated people every day. So we apologize for this. We are really sorry. In every room there is complimentary espresso coffee, organic tea, wifi and table water, every day. If you want two bottles of water we will bring them as well. Again a (small) mistake. Again we have to apologize. But this one would have been easy to fix if you had informed our staff at reception. Sorry. About our location I want to say it is perfect if you love wide views, water, a skyline, bridges, luxury boats, hotspots, a ride with a water taxi, a great city walk, a guided tour, etc. If you come for shopping only we are not the best located hotel in the city, but still the best located boutique hotel.
