The location is great, just 2 tramstops to Hauptbahnhof, very easy to get anywhere in Zurich. The room was good, big enough for 3 persons. Since the hotel is located in Old Town, it was very quiet and nice in the evenings, no traffic. It is also very recommended to book breakfast at the hotel, you get a good start in the morning.

Hotel Wellenberg is a boutique hotel offering spacious and clean rooms with a library for sipping espresso in between shopping and sightseeing walks around old town Zurich. The hotel is perfectly situated with plenty of restaurants and shops as well as near the river for beautiful photos and leisurely walks. I enjoy nice hotels, but the staff is usually what drives me to write a review. Grega, the front office manager, was especially welcoming and BEYOND helpful to my husband and me. He took the time to chat with us, mapped out a walking tour around old town, and highlighted some of his favorite sights and places to eat. He truly made our trip next-level enjoyable.

We arrived very late on day one of our trip after our flight departure time was changed by the airline although the receptionist was at the desk waiting for us and concerned that something had happened. When we checked in we were told that our room had been upgraded to a family one which was very spacious with dual aspect windows and was well equipped with an espresso coffee machine, kettle, then hidden in the wardrobe a small fridge and the safe. For the size of room it was surprising that the bathroom was very small as you could only ever have one person in there at a time doing anything, there was also a few minor issues in it with the sink plug not sealing very well, one of the strip lights out by the side of the mirror and the shower head leaking slightly. The bed was huge, consisting of 2 singles pushed together with a memory foam mattress which was not to our personal taste. It is located about a 10 minute walk from the main train station and with a tram stop very close by. The hotel faces on to a small square with various shops, bars and restaurants around it, yet there was never any excessive noise at any time. The continental breakfast was good with a selection of a few cereals, breads, meats, cheese, fruit, yoghurts, orange juice, coffee, tea and the option for other items at extra cost. On the first floor there was a sitting area/library and a family room with a large TV and gaming console. The TV in the room had a good selection of UK channels rather than just BBC world news. All the staff that we spoke to were very friendly and helpful.

For a four star hotel this is a terrible place, completely not worth the money. The only good thing about this hotel was the location and the bed.
I stayed here with my family in two rooms.
The first room that was offered to my sister had mild over half the ceiling. The reception staff was offended when my sister requested a change of rooms.
The new room was a bit better bathroom wise, but the sofa was FILTHY. It had dirt spots all over.
My room also had mold. There were no coffee/tea making facilities, which should be a given in a hotel of this class. The hairdryer looked and worked as if it was from 1980ties.
Chipped paint and wood everywhere.
Breakfast was very poor as well: no vegetables available, eggs and coffee other than black (like cappuccino) available only at additional charge. Ridiculous. Breakfast staff did not speak English or German.
The reception day staff was the worst. Complaining about us to another person in a different language fight in front of us (assuming none of us could understand), lying about housekeeping and calling our rooms, unwilling to help until we threated to move out.
Avoid, avoid, avoid. At this prices there must be better places to stay.

Great location right in the middle of the old town.
Rooms are clean and nicely appointed but small.
Front desk staff was very helpful and service orientated.
Breakfast was included and nice, varied and more than sufficient to set you on your way in the morning (although the coffee machine produced terrible coffee which is uncharacteristic for Switzerland).

An odd place. Somewhat dreamy staff who do things at snail’s pace. The room had seen better days (half the bathroom door’s paint was chipped off - how difficult can it be to repair that??) Useless ancient noisy air conditioner. Breakfast was ultra basic - some cheap stuff was included but anything more substantial (eggs…) at extra charge. High chairs in the breakfast room broken. Underwhelming in the extreme.

Hotel was clean and in a great location in the old town, close to trams, walking distance to boat trips and close to restarants. Dining room staff very friendly but front of house staff could be slightly rude and unhelpful. Hot breakfasts only available at extra charge, no hot drinks available in rooms, towels are very small, pillows very lacklustre and you need a degree in electrics to work out the lighting. Used crockery wasn't cleared from rooms and friends in another room had no new toiletries for a 3 night stay

What a fabulous place to stay in ZĂĽrich. The staff are some of the best and Friendliest we have come across in the world, always smiling and nothing is too much trouble. The location is nothing short of perfect to see all of ZĂĽrich Old Town and visit some of the best eateries around. The rooms were a good size compared to most, well appointed and maintained. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom and shower excellent after a cold day out. The breakfast was divine and great value for money. When we come back we will definitely be staying here. Thank You Hotel Wallenberg for a wonderful stay.

Great location close to river and old town square. Rooms were nicely appointed. Front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was included but very busy and in turn was very hard for staff to keep up with replenishing food and cleaning tables. Also WiFi only worked for 3 devices which was a challenge with a family w/kids traveling international.

The location was perfect, beds comfortable, room clean and spacious (we had a corner room), continental breakfast was good quality and the staff friendly. It had some amenities (minor but appreciated) that most similar hotels didn’t have – wash cloths, hair conditioner and slippers! When we stayed there at the beginning of our trip in May, there wasn’t air conditioning and we couldn’t leave the windows open due to the noise/no window screen so it was rather hot/uncomfortable. When we returned at the end of our trip in June, the room had the portable air conditioning unit installed which allowed us to sleep so much better. When I questioned the front desk, they said they add them to the rooms June 1. My suggestion would be to add them when the weather gets warmer regardless of the date.

So sorry about the delay in answering your question but I don’t believe the hotel has parking facilities. I would double check with the hotel directly.

The train is just below in the airport it takes you to the main station then you have a walk with all your luggage. Take a cab and cut out the hassle with all the luggage
