I spent five nights in Pisa to celebrate New Year's Eve. I stayed in a large and very nice room. In the bathroom there is a complete kit for guests. I also really liked the location, the bed & breakfast is n the centre, 3min from the Scuola Normale di Pisa and the Lungarno, and 9min from the Tower. I always felt safe, including at night, alone. There are all the services nearby. Negative aspects: I was woken up more than once by guests on the upper floor; the shower didn't leak much water and was only lukewarm. The owner, Milena, should improve communication with guests and be more willing to talk to them.
We stayed for a night and we loved it. Location is great - very close to the tier and not too far to walk from/to train station (although you will feel it if it’s hot so best take a taxi). The B&B is in an old (of course) building which is very charming. At checking in Milena was super friendly and efficient and that was a great start to our Pisa visit. The entrance and reception area are absolutely beautiful and clean! I loved the real sofa! The B&B feels very secure - guests are given a code to open the super solid gate and rooms are locked with standard keys. We stayed in the Torre room on the 1st floor, after a flight of stairs. The room itself is on two levels so there’s another flight of stairs between the bathroom and the room. The bathroom was very clean and in gorgeous teal colours - I wanted to teleport it home! We found complimentary slippers, the towels were fresh and soft. My only very small issue was the low shower pressure but I didn’t have to wash my hair that evening so it was eventually ok. Still I appreciate that the building is old and some things can’t be changed so I’m only mentioning that for information. The room is really pretty - I’ve never stayed in a room with vaulted ceiling! The whole interior style is amazing and I enjoyed it a lot. There is an air conditioner under the window plus a fan so quite adequate for the summer. The window has solid inside shutters so you can have the room fully dark during the night if you want. There is a lovely wardrobe which is perfect for two people and there was a safe inside. There is a small (teal!) table and a mini vintage desk/dressing table with complimentary mineral water and cookies. The only thing we didn’t like in the room was the mattress that was too firm for us but I know that this is hard to make comfortable for everyone. Sheets were crisp and clean. Bear in mind that some rooms (including Torre) are overlooking the street and it was pretty noisy until late night so maybe take earplugs. There is a small inner garden/patio which is beautifully decorated - we had our breakfast there (bought elsewhere) and we enjoyed the beauty of the spot very much. If we ever come back to Pisa we will definitely state here again! Grazie Milena!…
Eccezionale B&B. Pulito, stanze più che adeguate e gestione efficiente e cortese. Semplicemente il posto dove stare quando si passa per Pisa. Centrale e facilmente raggiungibile con prezzi più che ragionevoli. Fantastic B&B. Clean, great rooms and atmosphere. Walking distance from the tower or Pisa and all the main attractions. Friendly staff will make you feel at home. Very good value for money. Don’t miss it if you are staying overnight in Pisa.
Unfortunately I can’t rate this place any better than one. We arrived on a hot afternoon and found the room quite dark. We knew this beforehand from another review, so we were OK with this. The problem was that the air con didn’t work. We complained and were told that this was only temporary and that it will resume cooling in a while. When we came back from the city it was still unbearably hot in the room. We called the owner and she told us, there was nothing she could do and she would refund us if wanted to leave. This was not an option as it was already late and we were in a hurry because we had booked a table for dinner. A discussion evolved and I stated that I’ll report this on TA whereupon she even threatened to call the police! I laughed about that and invited her to do so. After some more back and forth she accepted to deduce 20 Euros from the rate. This was not what we wanted, we just wanted a room with an operational air conditioner but we could not find another solution so we had to accept. The owner had the chance to tell us that there is no air con in the afternoon but she didn’t, even though she knew very well. Only when we had no chance to look for another place she told us sorry, leave or sweat. I consider this fraudulent and warn other travelers about this practice. Given the the owner’s reaction to me mentioning TA, I wouldn’t give too much on the drivel she will reply to this review.…
We needed to spend our last night in PISA, close to the airport but also close to the Centre. This is an ideal location, as we had a car and could park (at a cost) close by, but also at walking distance from the Centre. The B&b is good with all the basics in place.
It was a great experience to stay here, the service was great and accommodating. My wife, my 2 kids(4&6 years old), and myself arrived around midnight and they helped getting in without any problems and completed the check in process in the morning. The breakfast is great, and the staff is very welcoming. We would definitely stay here again without a doubt, the only thing that we would do different is to arrive earlier. We were not aware of how lively the nightlife is, and had a difficult time finding parking. Also another tip that everyone has to consider when visiting Europe is to travel light, you never know how much you’re going to have to walk and between your luggage and kids your trip can become very stressful.
We were in the family room - very dark and quite cramped (should maybe have booked 2 rooms as our teenage daughters only just fitted in!). Breakfast very average - and certainly not the best placed we stayed in Italy - surprised by the number of 5 star reviews on here.
A little gem of a B&B run by husband and wife, Jonata and Milena who made our stay special, both very friendly and helpful. Set in a quiet location with plenty of restaurants close by, the leaning tower just a ten minute walk away, the railway station with good connections just 20 minutes across the river. The ideal place to stay to visit busy Florence. Hope to return one day.
We stayed at the Cuore di Pisa for 4 nights & we loved it. An historic building in a quiet part of Pisa yet 10 minutes walk from the Leaning Tower. Our room was spotlessly clean & had everything we needed. There is a safe in the room too. Breakfast is Continental & the coffee the best I've tasted. The hosts are lovely & very helpful, giving us a map with places highlighted where we wanted to go. The airport is only a 20 minute drive & cost us 25 euros. The train station is a 15 minute walk & the main attractions just 10 minutes away. We would definitely stay here again & highly recommend the Cuore di Pisa.
This small B and B housed in an historic building is well located for the major sights without being too close to the really touristy areas. Only 10 mins walk from the Duomo and close to the Arno. Our hostess was welcoming, very helpful and gave an excellent restaurant recommandation. Her smile was a great way to start the day! Accomodation is clean and has every comfort. The little courtyard is a haven of green. Also excellent value for money.
