A 25 mins walk from the train station. A nice clean friendly hotel with a limited breakfast on offer. Very handy location to view the tower and sights nearby. Good choice of restaurants nearby and a lot more up near the area of the tower. A great value stop to see the sights.

Stayed at this hotel in January, hotel was in a great location just across the road from the leaning tower and cathedral. Rooms were spotless, warm and bright. Bathroom was quite large and toiletries provided. Breakfast was good, fresh coffee, cereals, cooked meats, yogurt, fruit and my favourite the fresh croissants plus much more. Downstairs had a seating area really cosy and comfortable. Outside was a garden area, great for a chill after exploring. We were in room 39 so no view of the tower. Staff all very friendly. Ideal location for exploring pisa. Only about 15 mins from airport in a taxi.

We stayed at Hotel Roma for a night and were very happy with the hotel and service provided. The room was nice and spacious with a great air con system (very happy as September was hot), comfortable bed and a clean room and bathroom. We were very impressed with the staff, both helpful and very friendly and the hotel is across the road from the leaning tower, the cathedral and lots of restaurants (you’re there in less than 1 minute)!! The hotel was a two minute walk from a supermarket (Carrefour) and 5 mins walk from Pisa San Rossore train station - we had a nice breakfast in the morning and there was a spacious area to sit whilst we were waiting to head to the station (you can pick from inside or the terrace). All in all I would thoroughly recommend the Hotel Roma for a stay in Pisa.

We stayed at this hotel for one night to explore Pisa and it was lovely! Very close to the main attractions such as the leaning tower of Pisa. Our room was clean and good air con. We were served a lovely breakfast. All the staff were brilliant and there is a space to sit if you need to wait for your ongoing travel after checkout. Short walk to the train station and lots of restaurants.

We were a group of five (3 rooms) and were just there for 1 night. It served our purposes perfectly. Great location: 6 minute taxi ride from Pisa airport or train station, and the Square of Miracles is right across the street (Duomo, Baptistery and Leaning Tower). We also walked across the Arno River (beautiful at night) and around Pisa. The front desk staff was on the reserved side but were always helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and most of us slept well (one of us found the bed too hard). The bathrooms were fine, they served their purpose and were clean. There's a large lovely sitting room area with a painted portrait of the father of the man who was at the front desk when we arrived...we recognized him! We enjoyed the free continental breakfast served in the hotel. This is a small, family-owned hotel and yes it's old. It's not a new, modern luxury hotel which no one should be surprised about if you read about it before booking. Also, when you look at the backside of the neon hotel sign, it says AMOR. ;-)

Fantastic location with a 2 minute walk to the leaning tower of Pisa. Hotel in need of much a refurbishment with a very tired appearance. The air conditioning unit was not working and the shower and toilet flush temperamental. Breakfast was basic: croissants, bread, ham and cheese. There was no parking available. Overall not worth the price.

A long story short, the air conditioning unit in our room wasn't working properly. When we complained to the front desk, they acted as if the a/c was working fine and told us to give it another hour to cool down the room - this after waiting 3 hours for it to cool down. We said we would but if it didn't we wanted a room change . They said that was impossible because the hotel was fully booked. After waiting SEVERAL hours, there was no change. 27 degrees in the room. So, we asked for a room change again. A different man working at the front desk at that hour (11 pm) explained that the a/c unit wasn't working properly because it needed gas. They put us in a room in the attic that they don't rent out - low ceiling, no windows, no view. But the a/c worked like a charm. Why they didn't offer us that room when we first asked is beyond me. Anyway, the next day, we explained that our experience at the hotel was far from what we expected and paid for, and we expected some kind of a discount on the room. (I forgot to mention that the hot water tap in our room broke off and they had to get a plumber in to repair it.) They refused to make amends for our troubles and suggested that 27 degrees in a hotel room was quite acceptable. Anyway, very disappointing stay at this hotel.

We stayed in this hotel for one night as it was close to Pisa airport which we were flying out of the next day after a week of staying in Florence. The hotel was pretty terrible, the bed was so hard it probably would have been more comfortable sleeping on the floor. We had 2 pillows which were as flat as pancakes on the double bed, so one each! The air conditioning unit was about 20 years old and did not work properly, it was roasting as there is a heatwave there at the minute. The furniture was old, battered and dirty. We had a view of the building next door after being promised either a city or landmark view. There was no minibar as stated in the description. The curtains did not close. It was noisy. The decor is very, very out of date, the hotel looks nothing like the pictures on booking.com, it’s really dated and in severe need of refurbishment. It was far too expensive for what you get, breakfast was not nice. There is no air conditioning in the wider hotel. The TV was tiny and so old there was no picture on most of the channels and it had teletext! I genuinely do not understand how this hotel has such positive reviews! Yes it’s close to the leaning tower of Pisa, that’s the only positive!
