The car GPS took us into the town centre, with lots of traffic, andlots of young men walking the streets. Then we turned into a side street, and there we were - in front of the hotel in a much quieter area! There is a private car park, so we quickly had the car inside and safe. The hotel is very classic with very nice furnishings, nice small bar, and very helpful staff. Room was adequate with a good bathroom and amenities. Breakfast buffet very good. Nice place for a one night stop in Pisa. No restaurant, but there was a good choice in the area around the hotel. Negatve - no tea making facilities in room and only Italian language TV

A great little hotel. It was very clean, the staff were friendly and it had everything you need. Location was good to the station (and therefore the airport) and only a 30 min walk to the tower, although we would spend longer, as it’s a nice walk that shouldn’t be rushed. At the price you pay for this hotel, you know it’s not luxury but was perfect for what we needed. We would happily return.

My daughter had a ballet workshop in Livorno so we decided to stay in this hotel in Pisa to make a little long weekend holiday. Near to the train station it was easy take the train to Livorno and back. A lovely little hotel within walking distance to Via Corsa the main high street in Pisa. We walked everywhere from this hotel even to the leaning tower, it is conveniently located. To walk in to the main street take the road that goes pass the 'scuola superiore' it is nicer with some lovely shops on the way. Only 5 minutes drive from the airport. We were greeted by a friendly receptionist, a small hotel with a big heart. Our room was very spacious, plenty of room and nice and warm. My kids stole the double bed and left me in the corner with the single bed but I have to say both beds were comfortable. The bathroom was big and had everything we needed for our stay. Rooms were cleaned everyday. The lady and gentleman running the hotel were welcoming and friendly, we didn't ask for much, only hot water for me for my tea. Breakfast was ok, not the best I have had during my travels but you'll probably find something you can eat. I would have liked to have seen oats, more cake selection, ricotta and fresh fruit. They had prunes, peaches in syrup and some kiwi which was hard, honestly they would have done better with a fruit bowl filled apples, pears and bananas. Definitely book this hotel if you are looking for somewhere near to all the attractions in Pisa, it is a nice stay. …

We stayed here for two nights. The room was clean and spacious. Quite Spartan in furnishing but we had everything we needed. Breakfast was very pleasant with fresh fruit, ham and cheese and fresh pastries. We found everyone very pleasant and friendly and the hotel was well placed for exploring Pisa.

We only stayed here one night before travelling home from the airport (5 minutes by car). We'd have happily stayed longer, such was the warm welcome recieved from all staff. From the moment we arrived, we were helped with a smile (for me, that counts for a lot). We used the private parking (good value); and used the train to pop to the beach at Viareggio. The station is only 5-10 minute walk away. In fact, it's an excellent location but also in a quiet area. Rooms spacious, bathroom clean, excellent shower. Without repeating others, all the positive aspects mentioned in other reviews were true.

Our holiday company booked this at relatively short notice (6 weeks) when British Airways changed our flight so we no longer had time to get to our original destination that evening. Due to flight delays we didn't arrive till 11pm and the man on reception seemed more bothered by the fact that the front door had broken. This meant that anyone who went out late couldn't get back in which wasn't a good start. Our room on the ground floor was very dim and looked out on to a yard where a car was parked. The air con was noisy. However on the plus side breakfast was one of the best we had in our stay in Italy and could be eaten outside in a small courtyard.

We stayed in this hotel for one night during our stay in Pisa. Angela was very welcoming and friendly. In fact, all the staff were lovely! Most importantly, we had a great nights sleep here. The beds were large and comfortable and the room was exceptionally clean. The bathroom was spacious and the shutters blacked out the entire room so we had a dark room for better rest. Would recommend staying here. It is close to the main attractions and easy to get around!

The staff are EXCELLENT - nothing was too much trouble. The room was spacious and spotless. The breakfast choice was superb, even for a Gluten intolerant person like me. The location is perfect, only a 15 minute walk to the tower and 5 minute from the train station, where there are frequent trains to Florence. Excellent value for money and we will return.

Absolutely lovely, Perfect location hosted by a family unit and to great standards. Rooms were spotlessly cleaned daily breakfast was simple but always fresh the coffee was the best of the break. Would definitely return and even converted us from brand hotels. Lisa & Mark Jones
