This is for the birthday celebration of my son Michael and our first time here in Pisa. The charming B&B is just right in front of the tower. It's literally right outside our doorstep and it’s really amazing!!! You can go around the plaza even at night and you don’t have to worry about anything because there are so many stores and restaurants. We got the family suite and Paolo, the hotel owner was very accommodating and so wonderful that he even gave us a discount. He made our stay really special. Our family suite has 2 beautiful bedrooms and are newly renovated with brightly colored furnishings. The rooms are very clean so everything’s perfect!!! My family and I will come back here again next year for our next visit here in Pisa and I highly recommend this very beautiful B&B. Thanks again so much Paolo for your kindness and warm hospitality. If you’re going to Pisa… this is the best place to stay!!!

This place feels uncared for, and minimally maintained. No hot water in the shower/broken hairdryer etc.. The property comprises a set of very basic cleaned rooms with key cards to access the property by its front door (on the side alley) and the individual rooms. The key cards are given at a "check in service" which must be arranged by email prior to arrival in order to be sure someone is there to receive you. This property is not a hotel or a "bed and breakfast" as it does not provide breakfast, or any food at all. There is a very small drinks vending machine in the dank entrance hall. There are however tourist filled cafés and restaurants in front of and around it. I was told categorically no staff at all onsite overnight 8pm-8am, but also not necessarily during the day times.. I am 50, have travelled solo all over the world and never experienced such an unpleasant, eye-rolling and aggressive "manager/receptionist" on my arrival. I would not suggest meeting this man as a solo traveller to anyone, as I felt deeply threatened, so if visiting, my recommendation is to travel with a partner/friend or family. The only reason to go to this place is for the absolutely incredible views of the Leaning Tower from the four rooms which face it. I would suggest taking your own bedding and pillows, packing a picnic (or purchasing a picnic and wine from the supermarket around the corner) and booking one of these four rooms simply to commune with the amazing piece of history that is the Leaning Tower for a night.

The ideal location we paid for. Although Pisa is that small, you could pick any hotel and be qithin 10 minute walk. Local restaurants set up at 06.00am, so be prepared for an early wake up. We still enjoyed the experience

We are from Switzerland and have been visiting this place on 5th August, though we were very late to book for our hotel room as we were not sure what our plans were,we contacted the receptionist named PAOLO who was very friendly and could guarantee us to have a room. We reached a bit late as expected due to traffic but when entered the place and came to the reception PAOLO welcomed us with his charm and smile and was worried also about if all went ok with us by traveling. He also promised us to give the room which he had reserved for us for a good reasonable price and that too right in the heart of Pisa. Atlast we entered our room and was really amazed and surprised by this wonderful views right from the room directly facing the Pisa Tower, from both the windows we could sleep having the best view of the Tower right in front of us. Was a wonderful experience to be on this beautiful place and make this dream come true, Also the rooms are well maintained and very clean with all the necessities one needs in a room. Very clean comfortable bathroom with all necessities provided including hair dryer,a mini fridge in the room to keep your drinks cold, enough space to move around in the room as we had a Family room ‘Torre di Pisa’. This a one time experience for us and like a dream come true and we want to thank PAOLO and his whole team for making this experience possible for us and if ever we will come to Pisa again we will never forget this place Hotel Relais I Miracoli and will surely visit again. Thanking you all Family Fernandes

I cannot comment on the condition of the hotel but i can say how highly disappointed i am with this hotel. We had booked a 7 week European holiday for june/july 2020. Unfortunately due to COVID 19 we had to cancel our whole trip. We had booked many hotels for this holiday and this hotel is the only one that did not have the decency to reply to 7 emails sent directly to them by me or 3 attempts via bookings.com. I cannot believe i didn't even get a reply acknowledging me. We had paid for room at the time of booking, we did not request a refund but did ask for a credit until Australia's border open for international travel. Even a email rejecting my request would have been appreciated. When we are lucky enough to return to Europe this place will certainly be off my list. So disappointing and shows what kind of place this is, obviously it the $$$they only think of....

Curt rude entrance . I asked to check the a/c because it didn’t work . It still doesn’t. No view of the tower . Am now in a sweat box with no a c in a dingy place that resembles a knocking shop . If you want 2 drinks downstairs it will cost you euro 30. ABISSMAL

Stayed for 1 night as part of a touring holiday. Can’t get any closer to The Leaning Tower than this...see the photo taken from our bedroom window. We stayed in a family room called Torre Di Pisa which had 2 separate bedrooms. Nice and clean and freshly decorated. On the negative side 1) we were aware that we had to check in by 8pm but we had the receptionist calling us when we were 1.5 hours drive away at 5pm asking why we weren’t there as he wanted to go home and to get there quick!!! 2) nearest car park is about 1km away so be prepared! 3) steep staircase to the rooms in a dark corridor 4) place is unattended...given keys at check in and a bag with a pastry each and a juice drink and was told that was our breakfast for the following day before they left! For a convenient stay right next to the tower and some good eating places nearby, this is the place to be...but don’t expect any frills or service!

Frustratingly disappointed. Do not have high expectations when staying here. The view is outstanding and breathtaking however that is the only positive of this small hotel. I’m not sure how it can actually be classed as a hotel? No one is even on reception until check in opens at 2pm. So there is no one present for assistance or queries. There is a number to call if you need anyone after 8pm. We were a party of 3, checking in for 1 night. The staff were very unobliging when I queried anything, including our breakfast and paying our bill. There is no restaurant within the hotel, however the same building offers a separate restaurant which was always busy (not at all socially distant) because of the view. Our confirmation stated breakfast was included. I was argued with initially, when I was told it wasn’t included due to COVID. (We’d been at an actual hotel in Florence for the previous 3 nights and breakfast was included each day. We simply chose our options from a form and were served it in the morning, at a socially acceptable distance from others.) However when I showed the confirmation, the two staff members had a heated discussion with each other in Italian and I was told to come back at 9:30 for breakfast in the morning. We also queried the ONE bag of M&Ms and ONE bag of mixed nuts in our room. There was also 4 small bottles of water, a Coke and a Sprite in the fridge. We were told they were complimentary. The next morning, no one was at reception, however I noticed one of the waitresses at the restaurant was a member of check in staff at the hotel from the previous day. I caught her attention and queried breakfast. She said it wasn’t included. I then showed her our confirmation AGAIN to which she asked whether we had received drink and snacks in our room. We said we had, she then explained that was the breakfast. SO BE WARNED...... ONE BAG OF M&Ms and ONE BAG OF NUTS could be your breakfast. It’s OBVIOUS we were fobbed off, we are not silly. But what an awful service we received. They could have made our experience so much better for little effort and for the sake of them spending €5 on their guests for a coffee and pastry, they have for themselves this negative review. Upon check in I also queried the bill. The staff member explained he’d debit the card from booking.com in the morning. I was alarmed that he was going to debit an amount he hadn’t even confirmed with us. Especially because no one would be around at check out, as reception remains closed until 2pm. So I had to show him our confirmation and make sure it would be the amount stated. A complete lack of customer service here. Staff were unhelpful and unwilling. Check in is 2pm, and check out 10am. Another point to make is that we had the family suite, which included a staircase to two beds on another level of the rooms Due to travelling in a pandemic and hygiene being very important to us, we took some antibacterial wipes with us. We wiped over both hand rails with the wipes and they were BLACK with dirt. It was disgusting. You would think the cleaning staff would wipe handrails, at the very least during this pandemic. It was very grim. We couldn’t believe it. Also, a thin, locked door is all that separates you from the next room. So you need to prey you have good neighbours, if not you will hear everything. Air conditioning hardly worked. It had minimal impact. There was a kettle and two tea bags. That’s it. No coffee, sugar, milk etc. This hotel will bring you an unforgettable view but nothing else. They hotel offered minimal effort and amenities. A cheap, unsatisfying and distasteful service for a very expensive price.

Upon arrival we were pleased to see our clean hotel with nice spacious rooms. The day before arrival we were informed that the hotel AC was off but we assumed that there would be fans provided, especially during a heatwave. We couldn’t sleep at any point of the night as it was so uncomfortably hot, there was NO hotel staff around. We phoned all the help number and there was nobody in reception or in the hotel. We’re all agitated with this experience

We were delighted we booked this accommodation. It absolutely made our trip. This is more of a B & B rather than having ‘hotel’ services. The room was clean and rustic in style, not modern. Although only rated officially three star, we had complimentary drinks in the mini bar and even leaning tower complimentary slippers. Breakfast in the cafe below is excellent with lots of choice. Yes there is no view whilst eating and limited service but step out of the cafe and there it is! We booked the family room with a full frontal view of the tower. It was stunning! I was so pleased with our view. Our son was in his own separate bedroom and he also had a full frontal view of the leaning tower. The windows open completely and you can people watch for hours! We had lots of space and the room was quiet. We booked in advance (go online 20 days before) to climb the tower and it was so handy to be staying so close. You cannot take bags up the tower so can leave everything in your room and just pop to climb the tower. We stayed 2 nights and loved Pisa. There was great, reasonably priced restaurants on the street outside the hotel. We drank chilled prosecco outside in October and it was fantastic. We also loved looking at the lit up tower at night. Booking this accommodation and its amazing view made our trip. It was a short taxi ride back to the train station or airport. I would thoroughly recommend. Excellent value for money.
