Close to the station Pisa central and also we walked from the Airport to this hotel which was about 25min walk. The room were spacious but can hear noisy people from above and next door. We stayed at this hotel as a base. You get what you pay for as this hotel we got at a good price. Wouldn't pay anything more. Walkable to shops and restaurants, which was a must. Outside the hotel, there were groups of men smoking, which was intimidating. We took the train to Florence which is an hour from Pisa Central for a day trip. Tickets were easy to buy from the machine.

Visited in March 2024 with my son en route to Florence. However, you have to access this hotel via an arcade that is scattered with groups of young men - and which I felt very intimidated by. Moreover, this lovely hotel is within a boarded up arcade. Yet walk a few yards up to to Corsa Italia and you are met with delightful shops and lovely places to eat. The staff at La Pace were so helpful and accommodating. The bedding clean and room acceptable. Nevertheless, there was also an unpleasant drain smell. Overall, if I were to stay close to the station again, would probably look elsewhere. This has been a hard and honest review to write as otherwise this was an inexpensive overnight stay before an onward trip.

I picked Hotel La Pace because it was both extremely close to the train station and at the entry point for Pisa's old town -- in that regard, the hotel didn't disappoint. But the front door was off a dark alleyway under some strange dark scaffolding that was a bit off-putting ... as was an immediate stench of sewer gas. I was breathing that in as a negotiated my check-in with the desk clerk who was a bit on the loutish side. Walling into the lobby one can immediately tell that this place is old. The lobby decor harkened back to the 1960s and so did the room furnishings that also looked a bit banged up. Just because a hotel is old doesn't make it bad, and everything in the room was functional, simple but comfortable. The WIFI was rock solid. Though the street area was bustling with the usual Italian messiness, the room was quiet ... though an 23:30 phone call to MY room was a complaint from the desk clerk that my tiny laptop speaker was bothering someone next door. I'd therefore say if YOU had a noisy neighbor, you might be similarly faced with some uncomfortable choices and a disappointment in your choice of hotel.

I stayed here one night with my wife and 2 kids and it was perfect. Excellent location and nice hotel with a massive room. Breakfast was excellent too but the best thing was the staff, in particular one man on reception (sorry I don't have his name) as he was very helpful and great with the kids so Grazie!

This hotel is situated close to amenities and perfect for the station and convenient to Pisa’s attractions. Its furnishings are old fashioned dark Italian wood, but the beds are comfortable and give just the right amount of support, the hotel provides still and sparkling water in a fridge in the room. The views from the higher floors are amazing over the rooftops of Pisa. Breakfast is great and sets you up for the day, and we couldn’t fault the choice offered to us continental cheeses and meats, hot English style breakfast, pancakes, fresh fruit and an array of breads, cakes and pastries. For the price charged for breakfast, we couldn’t find fault. It’s not a high end hotel and is good value for money, the staff were pleasant and welcoming, however, we would have liked a hotel bar to visit which was closed when we came to use it. Would we recommend and stay again? Sadly, we wouldn’t stay again because of the awful smell of drains permeating through the entrance hall and lobby. The rooms are immaculately clean, not a hint of dirt left on my white socks, but the management need to address the smell of sewerage and stop using the plug in air fresheners for us to return again.

The hotel is located a few minutes walk from the station and the Pisamover shuttle to / from the airport. The reception is manned 24 hours a day and there is an excellent tasty breakfast which is varied every day. The rooms are nice, spacious and clean. It was walkable to all local attractions such as the Leaning Tower and its proximity to the station facilitates day trips to places such as Florence.

The staff is very kind, the rooms are clean. On the day of the cancellation, they allowed us to leave our luggage for a few hours, without charging additional costs, and we could visit Pisa in peace. The breakfast is diverse and tasty. I recommend.

Terrible customer service with no intention to help. They are just interested to make a charge and then rest is not their business. I made the mistake to book for one night. Never again. Look elsewhere. Truly disappointed. Lots of excuses and no substance.

Located 100 metres from the main railway station but in a dreadful shady neighbourhood. The hotel entrance is down a grotty tunnel. After that we had a pleasant three night stay. The common areas and rooms are dated but clean. We had an annex off the bedroom with a settee and a large bathroom. The staff were professional and most helpful The breakfast buffet is excellent.

Fabulous location just across the road from Pisa Central station from where you can get trains to so many places and easy walking distance from the Leaning Tower. We took the Pisa Mover shuttle from the airport and were at the hotel within 20 minutes. The rooms are traditional Italian style and ours was spotless with a lovely comfy bed. A kettle and coffee is provided which was a welcome bonus. The shower was small but worked just fine. We booked room only and didn't have breakfast here but they offer a buffet breakfast for around €12. The staff are exceptional and so friendly and helpful. We visited the tower which costs €20 each if you want to climb it, but be warned it's a bit of a challenge when it's busy! We also took trains to Florence and Viareggio which were cheap and quick. If you're looking for no frills but a fabulous location this place is perfect. I would stay again if I go back to Pisa.
